You can't bid for more players than you can accommodate. If you have 7 free places in your team, you can only bid for 7 players.

I'll go through the topics and make sure that's not the case. If you know you've bid for too many players, you need to withdraw your bids.

No one else had bid on either player so no harm done I think.

I take it if you're outbid on one player then that frees up one of your potential slots again and you can choose to bid on someone different?

Bentley, Onuoha, Koumas, Wilshere, Pienaar, Riera, Ebanks-Blake, Thomas, Ridgewell, Emerton, Diouf, Gardener, McCartney. Although he's just been outbid on the last one.

EDIT: Just to be clear, I'm not tryna snitch on the guy or anything, just making sure we're all on a level playing field since he may not know you're not supposed to do that.

This could all get a little messy.

How about if you end up with more than 23 you have to release the extra players and get a point or two penalty for each instead? That way it doesnt matter if people bid for too many players.

How come certain players are being signed up less than 24hrs after the last bid? For example Anton Ferdinand's last bid was 7.02am but he was announced jaggerc's player at 7.57pm? There is a similar thing happening with Zat Knight too.

Same with Ebanks-Blake, rules where that you had to wait 24 hours after last bid. Which means I lost out on a first team striker because the rules change?

If it was the case it was 24 hours window complete bids I would have just waited till the last few minutes.

Plus my over 24 hour bid for Diamanti isn't sorted yet.

Think he's done it as 24 hours after the first bid. Which kind of makes sense otherwise we would have never-ending auctions, though yes it would suffer from the same ebay-last-minute thing.

Need a better system for next time I think.

For me, there's an element of losing track of how many i've bid on and how many i'm allowed. That and the fact I fully expected most my bids to outbid seconds after I posted.

Yeah, I don't have a clue who I bid on. Perhaps a draft would work better than the open bidding stage next time?

Not really sure what system works best though.

Waiting 24 hours is a long time after the last bid. 24 hours after the first means chaos.

Drafts can take forever if people can't get online together.
