S&M is nothing special. The band is sloppy, the songs don't work well with the orchestra and the band is not that good to begin with. The orchestration brings very little to the table.

I like S&M, but I have other live albums I much prefer, and I'm generally a big fan of the live release for the most part. I prefer Paradise Lost's 'Anatomy Of Melancholy', My Dying Bride's 'Ode To Woe', Nirvana and Alice In Chain's 'Unplugged' albums if you can count them.

I've also got several of the Pearl Jam live shows, which are all awesome if you like Pearl Jam, naturally.

I'm sure I have some more, but I can't remember for definite.
