The game doesn't like my laptop, and so there's one more reason that this stupid piece of shit can go to hell. It crashed my computer and entirely messed up my wireless network, hence me only returning now.

Ruki and I are going to tear shit up on Thelanis here in a bit (by "tear shit up" I mean "I've never played this game before so I'll probably lose"). I'm a halfling sorcerer with an emphasis on blow-shit-up evocations (Hammehooke Meatyfellow) and he's a halfling rogue named Skyely something. Bring us your meat shields!

It's good for a bit of fun, although the lag in the town can be a bit much.

Yeah, I had a pretty good time with it. The left and right turning is way touchy, though. Obviously, leveling is also much slower than in, for example, WoW; I nearly hit level 2 by the time I was finished but didn't quite make it. Then again, it's D&D, and the level cap seems to be 20, so it's to be expected.

Well worth it for a free game, but I'm not sure yet if I'd pay money for it.

... so I enjoy soloing perhaps a teensy bit too much. Anyway, I'm off the first island and I'll probably start screwing around with missions on the next place sometime today, so anyone else who's gotten to that point should drop a line in here.

I like the variety in the missions in regards to stuff like throwing in puzzles and all that. And the layout for the final mission with the dragon and Devourer cult and all that was pretty cool, especially one bit later on where they use a timed animation below your feet to hilarious effect.
