Euro 2012 Qualifying

Um...Scotland are a good match for Czech Republic.

As long as Cech isn't at his best, we could potentially get six points from the Czechs. Rosicky is class, as are Hubschmann and Jarolim, but we have good players too, and a lot more players in the Premier League.

The thing I worry about is Lithuania. We always do well against better teams (France, Italy, etc), then when it comes to a team like Lithuania (Iceland, Macedonia, etc), we just can't be arsed and eventually they score and suddenly we realise 'oh yeah, this is a football match'.

Not really a good indicator, but Scotland are up against the Czech Republic (both in the same qualifying group for the Euros).

Totally fresh start for Scotland, and the Czechs have the weakest team I've seen them field in years. Just a friendly, but a good turnout (25,000 according to Sky) considering it's a friendly and that we'll be playing the same country again in the qualifiers. All the Czech warehouse workers have come out tonight to support their team.

Fuck me. Is that Darius Danesh singing Flower of Scotland? Bwaha!

Somewhere Simon Cowell is thinking "lol, Scotland."

If there was one thing I wished would've changed from Burley's time in charge (and there were a lot of those), it's that we'd play two up front and Levein's started with just Miller. It's not often you have Scotland's two best strikers playing for the same club, they obviously know how the other plays, so why not play Boyd up front with Miller? Do we really need Thomson in there? Or Robson?

I gather Levein has said Boyd will come on at some point, here's hoping he tries two up front at least for a bit.

EDIT: Get in, 1-0. Czechs have had all the chances though. And Levein brings on Boyd but takes off Miller and sticks with the one up front. *sigh*
