Summer 2003, as virtually nothing this year has really impressed me.

04 > 03.

I haven't seen all the films this summer yet, but with what I have seen, this summer is on pace to blow away last summer.

Don't tell me they have made a remake of the Exorcist?

Anyway Summer 2003 looks way better than 2004. I mean it was much better in terms of horror movies(Texas Chainsaw, Wrong Turn, Cabin Fever, Freddy/Jason) and it had the brilliant Bruce Almighty.

2003 was better. The only thing that half-saves 04 is Harry Potter, Spiderman, Shrek 2, Collateral, and Bourne Supremacy. I haven't even HEARD of Hero, Suspect Zero, or Garden State. :\

2003 was embarassing. 04 has a ton of inventive films under its belt, even if it did spawn Alien vs. Predator and Sleepover.

This year has been very dissapointing, with the exception of a couple of movies in which I love (Farienheight 9/11, Napoleaon Dynamite). 03 wasn't very good either but it still was better then 04.

kind of mixed for me because both were very good but if I had to choose one 2003 for the reasons of 2 Johnny Depp Movies, 2 Marvel Movies, 1 Matrix Movie, 28 Days Later, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Freddy vs. Jason, Indentity, Terminator 3 and The Recruit were all awesome
