Right, I have a new laptop, but I won't get all of my data back until during the week sometime. So I'll have to push the cycle back a week, unfortunately. I'll get the results up for Week 9 as soon as I can!

Sorry for the delay, folks. I should have my laptop back (with my old data on it) this evening. The only problem is that I have no idea what the password is for my website hosting and I need that to add data for new PL weeks. I'm trying to get a hold of it, so hopefully the cycle will restart this weekend.

Baddar, you'll need to work hard to try and grab the title back. Mollari has an easy game against me (sorry), but prison inmate is up against Cagey, who is usually quite a big scorer.

I was rubbish as usual. But I could've been worse, I guess...

I do like running it - the only thing that bothers me is when people don't submit because it's giving their opponents for that particular week an unfair advantage.

Any ideas for what I could do to counteract that?

Obviously I could just do the whole season on prediction points and not had any 'matches', but that would kinda take away the competitive element of the game...

Hello, folks!

I'm afraid I won't be doing the PL for the upcoming football season.

It takes up more time than you probably think and it's difficult to commit to something for up to 30 weeks of the year. And I just feel like I won't be able to give it my full attention this time.

I do enjoy doing it though, so I may bring it back again next year. I'll make a decision next summer and let all of the previous players know if I'll be running it for the 2013/2014 season.

Really gutted you're not doing the prediction league this season Beagle, you did a great job of it in the past. Does anyone have any ideas on how we can run a prediction league on the board for the season or know of any sites that run a prediction leagues and allow mini-leagues? Would like to get something sorted before the start of the season.

You could just run something similar through here?

I would run one, or even the bookie again, but I won't have a whole lot of time during the weekends, so updates wouldn't be up quick enough.

I wouldn't mind running it, I've got quite a lot of spare time on my hands. How do you think we should do it? Similar to Beagle's league were we predict 6 fixtures across Europe or just concentrate on the English leagues? Or just predict on the 10 Prem games every week? What does everyone think?
