EWB's Goal of the Month Poll - January 2012

Every month, I will open up the floor to nominations to elect a goal of the month. Then come June we can have a goal of the season from all of the monthly winners.

• Wherever possible, please post a Youtube clip of the goal.
  
• Do not nominate a goal that has already been nominated.
  
• Specify when the goal was scored, by whom, and in what match.
  
• The following competitions are eligible for nominations: Barclays Premier League, nPower Championship, nPower League One, nPower League Two, the FA Cup, the Carling Cup, UEFA Champion's League, UEFA Europa League, AND THE AFRICAN CUP OF NATIONS. We could eventually extend to include Scotland. (But nothing good ever happens in Scottish football.)
  
• If more than ten goals are nominated, then I will whittle them down to ten with the help of a select group of judges (to apply, PM me should you be interested).
  
• January's nominations remain open until the evening of Monday 6th February.

The poll to elect the best goal will go up soon after where you will have a few days to have your say on EWB's Goal of the Month.
