TEW05 Real World Update: June 2012

I really like these updates. You guys do a great job collaborating and doing your best to keep this as accurate as possible. I've got a few questions, though.

What was the reason for combining DGUSA and EVOLVE? I mean, it makes complete sense, but it's just...not something that ever would have crossed my mind. Just wondering what brought you guys to that decision, cause it's one of those logical things that would make you go, "why didn't we think of this forever ago" ya know?

Also, I noticed two things missing, and probably will later: What happened with Jersey All Pro? I noticed it isn't on my game. They still book alot of top name guys, what's the reason for removing the promotion? I also noticed there's no Ring Ka King. Another more notable promotion missing. Could be useful as a "development" promotion for TNA. But, with the lack of "Asia" as a region, I could see why it hasn't been added yet.

Anyway, you guys are great at this, and many thanks for your efforts.

I believe that DGUSA and EVOLVE merged because they started using the same crew/have a core roster that was mixed and was easier to work together.

JAPW and IWA Mid-South are two promotions that will have to be active for at least one full year before they get back in the game, this is mainly due to the fact they kept opening and closing about 2-3 times over the past couple of years and its easier just to not include them when you knew they would shut down in 2 months.

Oh wow, I hadn't even realized JAPW had closed at one point.

Depressing how some the top Indy companies from the Big Indy Boom of 2002-2006 are dwindling away.

Sure they're a stable, but the two man combinations of Chuck/Brian and Chuck/Ryan never actually happened. 6 man tags, yes, but never in a normal tag. Brian/Ryan are the full time tag team of the stable.

- Create "2 Husky Black Guys" (El Generico/Willie Mack), Semi-Active, Low/None exp depending on what you consider 3 matches to be, April 2012

Dieter Von Steigerwalt should be removed. He was the BDK's Director, and hasn't been seen since he was removed from power quite some time ago. He's definitely not on the roster. However, CHIKARA identity spoiler;

Most people are pretty certain that Steigerwalt is the man better known as Hydra or Leslie Butterscotch, so can probably be removed from the game altogether if Hydra is in the data

In the game Hydra is named Dieter Von Steigerwalt already, has he gone with the company in all aspects of his gimmicks?

In regards to the FCW TV show, from what I’ve read they are rebranding NXT for FCW, so there are a few options if NXT is going to be fully FCW shows then move it to FCW, if it’s going to be a mix possibly doing both a WWE NXT and FCW NXT, or wait to change when more info is out there.

Leslie is Kobald. And Kobald is Hydra. It's just a case of Chikara giving him a new gimmick. Not the most secure way to tell, but body type and hair style definitely match.

Right I want to put forward a couple of suggestions on how to work NXT for the next update

Option 1

- Move the wrestlers who are on the tapings to WWE under no brand to compete with WWE talent.

Option 2

- Keep NXT talent in FCW and move the TV show to FCW.

Now the advantage of option one is that NXT would get a semi-realistic rating but the disadvantage would be the possibility of WWE firing a load of them (even currently they fire a lot of talent).

Mr. 450 Hammett is already in the database as Hammett, when you gave me the last import set he was in there and as i always double check anyone i add in he was listed for matches as either Mr. 450 or Hammett but not both at the same time.

You also seem to be using my old gimmick file since the imported workers lost their gimmicks in the transfer 9has been fixed), the current gimmick file is 443.
