Anyone heard of them?

Rolling Stone's (the magazine) Paul Robicheau ranked their Self Titled, Debut CD #10 on his Top 10 Albums Of 2003. He had this to say:

Boston's most original act in ages, a punk-cabaret duo in whiteface, exposes Amanda Palmer's theatrical songs of piano and pathos.

Goldfrapp utilizes cabaret, but she does it...well.

They're just using a cheap gimmick to cover up a lack of talent.

And Rolling Stone has some of the worst music critics on earth.

SHATTEREDED.

hmm, after listening to a couple songs, i have to say that they are pretty decent. It's not my kinda music, but its a good change of pace. Plus the fact that they are from boston is cool too, because there arent that many good bands from around here.

I like them... Tristy you should check out Bright Eyes. Similar deliveries, very emotional and Conner Oberst is quite possibly the best lyricist of our generation.

They did a few songs on a local station last night. I dug it and I liked them when I saw them on Kimmel.
