[CBH] Marvel &/or DC mod out there?

Hi Folks,

since this board is now for all the Ryland games: how about Comic Book Hero?

I like the demo, allthough it doesn't get you really far, because fighting a thug as a superhero is impossible thanks to commercial reasons.

But I love the idea and the gameplay and I really consider buying the full version.

First question: any of you already did? Pros and cons please!

Second question: I'll buy the full version only if there is a mod for the Marvel &/or DC Universe. Is there on? If not - should we make one? This would be a huge load of work!

Not my thing but I have seen a couple Marvel and DC (as well as a mix) over on the GDS forums while having a look out if a Doctor Who one is about.

I wish, it would be the only reason I'd buy/play it and no offence I dont want to buy a game to be a mod maker.

I wouldent mind offering my knowlage if anyone was to though...

I'm pretty sure they fixed that in later versions of the demo. As far as I'm aware, you can only play as a couple of heroes but the combat system is normal.

ok I still couldn't find a Marvel data. If there is none out there ( or none of you guys know about it ) i'll give it a try to make one myself.

There's a 90s Marvel data out there. I'd check out the Grey Dog forums, it should be in the CBH mods section.

That would be perfect, although I couldn't find it, since the mod section over there is pretty empty (http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=188 )

(or can't I see the threads since I'm not registered over there?)

It's right here. On GDS's forums, it automatically only shows topics with posts from the last month so you have to mess with the settings to see older posts.
