Biffy Clyro - 'Ellipsis'

I only made it to track 5 on the drive to work, so I'll give some thoughts later.

I don't particularly care for Biffy myself, but I will listen to this album at lunch time (ghosts have to eat too) just because you made this thread

I like the opening tracks. I get the feeling a song called "Wolves of Winter" may be capitalizing on GoT a bit though

Don't know if they'll be permanent additions to the library but "Animal Style" is certainly the best of the opening three. Really good tune.

EDIT: "Re-Arrange" is a nice tune but I doubt that'll make the permanent list.

"Herex" and "Flammable" have a decent chance, but the rest just came across as a bit samey to me.

Still, that's three or four more tunes than I honestly expected since I'm not a Biffy fan.

Re-listened to "Animal Style" though and it is really good.

I will tell you, with only one listen, I found 'Re-Arrange' cringeworthy. Biffy Clyro can do soft really well (Folding Stars, Opposite, Many of Horror) but I was off-putted straight away by that one.

I initially thought the same, but there was a line in it (can't remember what it was now) that caught my attention and made me like it more.

Very good album. Better than the last album, up there with Opposites, but not quite Only Revolutions.

Add 'Medicine' to that bracketed list. Great song!

It wasn't a line it was an entire verse (in case anyone cares).

Just feel like right now this hits home for me, simple as it is.
