Don't know if it'll count since he did play for Arsenal, but I've always liked Lukas Podolski. First saw him for Germany at a World Cup and was over the moon when he signed for us. Didn't get a great crack of the whip and isn't doing much now in Japan but I always like to see him do well.

I love Matt Le Tissier because he was just wonderful to watch and I liked that he stuck around the one team. 

I also have a soft spot for Leeds. They were delightful and on the verge of big things and they've had my compassion since.

I did end up watching Space Jam again. What a great movie.
