Asobi Seksu was a pretty interesting band. They were a NYC band that mostly played shoegaze-inspired music until they went on indefinite hiatus in 2013.

The best one of those albums was called Citrus. You should listen to that entire album, but I figure you should also listen to this song. It's called "Thursday" and I hope since it's not fortysomething minutes long and also not a thing that is bad you might click on it.

if you have other songs called "Thursday" or maybe have "Thursday" in the title I think they would also be appropriate for this thread. No other days, though. Certainly not "Sunday," a day that has way more good songs than good episodes of TV made about it.
