It's so frustrating that they have that mentality. If player A commits bad fouls and it ruins the "spectacle" of the game if he is sent off, that is player A's fault, not the referee. The referee is there to enforce the rules of the game, not decide how entertaining the game is.

Arsenal were outplayed tbf. Lens are not a bad team and they defended well. Saka has been played into the ground but some people are still overreacting. It's a champions league away game against decent opposition and folk are ready to sack half the club never mind the team.

Obviously understand the pragmatism of why teams in the prem play with a low block etc but that game last night was so much more fun to watch than the Everton game. Havertz looked like he's settling in more so not too worried there, if the front 3 are gonna cook like that on the regular. Saliba, Odegaard, Trossard all amazing.
