So, US open starts Monday. Murray, Henman and Rusedski all play. Murray, Henman and Rusedski will all lose in the first round. Don't think the draw has been made yet. Seriously though, hopefully Henman can have a real run again, and maybe go one step futher (well, two and win it). I think Murray could reach maybe the 3rd round depending on the draw he gets, and Rusedski will probably reach the 2nd round. Federer to win. Not sure on the women's side, haven't been paying much attention to it as of late, just saw the news that Clijsters is going to retire at the end of 2007.

I don't like the way the had The Rock as a legend in his old attire. I want him in it with his latest attire and awesome tattoo. Plus, they need legends titantrons, it is stupid just having the WWE logo.

Liverpool aren't a top club. I would prefer Baros in my team than Morientes though, I agree with that.

Glad to see Baros score, I have always liked the guy and I want to see him score a lot of goals to run it in Liverpools faces.

On the subject of Reyes. He looked brilliant against Fulham playing on the wing, hopefully this season he can keep the form going when it starts to get cold. His passing was golden, he was electric and his skill was also golden. He should be starting instead of Pires.

Good to see. The joke to me, implies that Wenger rates Quincy very highly, perhaps he could unleash him in the Premiership this season. He is another reason that we don't really need a striker at all.

It was a boring game, hardly any chances at all. Two terrible games today, Bolton/Everton was bad enough, then our game was just as bad. And I really think that Ljungberg getting injured was a turning point, I thought he was going to be the key today with his runs but he didn't last. One more thing, Pires is fucking shit. I hate it when he plays him over Reyes sometimes because he never ever tracks back, and if he does, he either does it too late or very slowly. He just doesn't seem to have the legs anymore. When Reyes plays he is always rushing back to help the fullback. And on the subject of fullbacks, Lauren does my fucking head in too, his positioning is unbelivably bad, there was one chance when he was totally ball watching and left Robben I think in acres of space, something he always does just like the Utd game at Highbury last season.

But it is the fact that he has the nerve to go over and have a go back when it was lucky, and he miscontrolled the bloody ball. It just proves what the bloke was saying really.

Fucking hell. I don't think anyone deserved to win that game tbh, should have been 0-0. Drogba was real classy btw having a go at that fan and then trying to find him when he scored, real classy that. Yeh, and Hleb looks class.

Helping the game? Not really. Because any team will be outbid. As Wenger said, a market for Chelski and a market for everyone else. Example, Manchester City, would probably have sold SWP for around £10-14m but they wait for Chelsea to bid, hold out for £20m and get it. It isn't helping at all really just throwing tainted money around.

Christian Abbiati has joined Juventus on loan from AC Milan. That is great sportsmanship on Milan's behalf to let Juventus have him whilst Buffon is out injured, it really is.
