So! What games are you currently playing? What games are in your backlog that you should be playing? Why the hell are you still buying games when you still have so much to play!?

For me, here is my current list:

-Dragon Age: Inquisition (slowly making my way through this one)

-Persona Q (same...but slower)

-Akiba's Trip

-Civilization Beyond Earth

-Valkyria Chronicles

- League of Legends (will always be there. I have an addiction)

And abou a million other games on Steam that I haven't played much (just bought: Defy Gravity, Civ, Talisman...and who knows what else during the Steam sale)

Currently playing:

Borderlands 2 (Have the major DLC to play through and then maybe the last 30 minutes or so of the main quest)

Far Cry 3 (Just started this on Tuesday, so pretty much the entire game to go yet lol)

Dwarf Fortress (The game that's been sucking up more of my time than I should probably give it. It's like crack)

Backlog (Well, the major games at least):

The Bioshock series (Started 1 like 3 times, never finished. Never played 2 or Infinite yet.)

Dark Souls (Got frustrated with it. Will finish one of these days.)

Darksiders (Started it, lost interest. Will probably pick it back up at some point after finishing Borderlands or Far Cry)

Dishonored (Same as above.)

L.A. Noire (Looked better in the Youtube videos than it actually is IRL. Plus I'm terrible at the game. Will most likely never finish.)

Mass Effect 1 &2 (Same as Darksiders.)

Psychonauts (I remember having some technical problems with the game I never figured out. Another game I really should play more of, but most likely will never finish.)

Star Wars KOTOR (Great game. No idea why I lost interest in finishing it. Will definitely pick it back up before I die, hopefully.)

The Witcher series (Stopped playing the first one due to Skyrim. Never played 2 yet. Will finish both games eventually.)

I have several more minor games to give some proper time to as well. (Bastion, Hotline Miami, To The Moon, a few more.)

Edit: Forgot about Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate II on my phone. Need to finish them up sometime before I die as well.

Oh man, so many games to play on the back burner right now. I don't know why I'm even buying games anymore.

I've got GTA V and Tomb Raider right at the back of my playlist at the moment (well, single player GTA at least). I want to play through them but I've completed both on the 360, so there's really no rush to get them done just yet.

Ground Zeroes is another one that's pretty far back, purely because I know how short it is and I'll likely get it done in a day, I'll probably leave it until there's a concrete release date on Phantom Pain so at least it's fresh in my memory when that beautiful juggernaught comes out.

Wolfenstein, inFamous and Evil Within are all games I've started and have mostly enjoyed, but all got pushed back in favour of shinier, more interesting things (mostly GTA Online), but will all get a lot more playtime in the new year.

Shadow of Mordor I haven't even started yet which is awful of me, but I'm actually super hyped to start playing, it's a contender for our first game to play when me and some pals start doing LP's next month, so that'll have to wait until then.

I picked up both seasons of Walking Dead on Black Friday for super cheap, but Snowball's a big fan and we're not even starting them until she's back home in the new year. We'll likely do a chapter every week or so because we're cool like that.

Then there's Alien Isolation and Black Flag. I only bought them yesterday so haven't had a chance to play them yet. Alien will likely come first because there's nothing more festive than being sexually assaulted by Giger.

Finally there's a whole string of indie games that I've got. Minecraft, Dust, Steamworld Dig, Oddworld, Octodad and a couple others to finish but all of them fall under the same category, I'll play them for ten minutes at a time when I can't decide what else I want to play or if I have some spare time before I leave for work. They'll all be completed one day, but probably not for a long ass time.

So yeah, I have far too many.

It's good. It's not great, but it's good. It's hard on the verge of cheap with some ridiculous mechanics (enemies coming back to life unless you use a match to burn them but only being able to carry a handful of matches, ammo and health being ridiculously few and far between, enemies popping up out of nowhere, etc etc) and it does that Resident Evil thing of having a shitty camera at all times to make it even harder but it's fun if you like that sort of thing. I feel a little ripped off that I paid full price for it, but it'll totally be worth every penny when it's down to the £15-20 mark.

Currently playing:

Saints Row III AND IV - On my 2nd playthrough for both, using different characters (imported my first III character into IV after beating it, but made up a new one for the second playthrough)

Star Trek Online

Elder Scrolls: Oblivion GOTY Edition - Had it on my old computer and got bored with it pretty quickly. Decided to give it another shot recently because most of my other non-MMO RPGs are old PS2 games...

Backlog:

Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY - Bought it off Steam a long time ago, but have yet to install it, because I either haven't had time or haven't been in the mood.

Bob Came In Pieces, Empire: Total War and To The Moon - Started, but never have finished. (Empire: Total War is actually my girlfriend's son's game, but on my Steam account and we were playing it together)

Rift - Haven't logged in since mid-October. I haven't quit, just have burnout.

Sleeping Dogs - Started it, but never have finished. Will have to start over, though, since the saved games are on my old computer and it doesn't use the cloud, iirc.

The Last Remnant - On my old computer, something went wrong and I lost all my saved games about halfway through it. Plan to start all over again as soon as I finish Oblivion.

Tropico 3 - Steam Special Edition - Got to the 3rd island in campaign mode and got bored

The amount of XBLA titles I have untouched would be enough to make you roll your eyes, let alone digital/disc copies of 360/PS3 games and the vast, vast library of Steam games. So, sticking to Xbox One (and a little 3DS):

Playing:

AC: Unity - Just recently finished the story so just clearing up side missions, collectibles, co-op etc etc.

Max: Curse of Brotherhood - Finished the story too so might go back and finish off some achievements

Titanfall - Given the nature of the game, it's easy to pop in and out of, playing a multiplayer/Frontier Defense game or two

FIFA 15 - Clubs of course and a career game with Hull (HULL HULL) I recently started

Pokemon: Omega Ruby - Just got to the first proper town with a Gym you can actually fight in

Backlog:

Crimson Dragon - Finished the main story, one or two achievements left to go back and do before I can be done with it

Forza Horizon 2 - Got part way into the story and then sort of fell away from it when other stuff started coming out

Halo: MCC - Ditto, played a few chapters of the first game and a little multiplayer and then just forgot about it

PvZ: Garden Warfare - Titanfall has replaced it as of late as the 'fuck around for a little while shooting stuff' multiplayer game

Volgarr the Viking - Played through the first level enough to sort of master it in the first week and then went on to other stuff instead

Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars - Got to like the last level, I think, but then it glitched and I was too annoyed to replay what I needed to at first and then that sorta led to me forgetting about it for a long time. Should finish it before...

Fire Emblem: Awakening - Still waiting for it to be delivered

Pokemon X - Lousy diary

X-Men Origins: Wolverine - Granted, this is a 360 game but I got it recently for like £2 and I saw the movie for the first time a few weeks back so I feel like playing it. Might give it a spin soon.

And then there's a bunch of stuff from Games with Gold on the One like Guacamelee and StrikeSuitZero etc, plus a lot of EA Access stuff like UFC that just got added.

My backlog of games I haven't really gotten to yet is basically anything released for free through PSN the past two months. I have about 7-8 games sat there that I've opened once and just never touched again, which I probably should do.

My frequent plays are just FIFA, GTA and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire. The rest just kinda sit there.

Oh shit, I forgot Destiny. I've got Destiny too. I actually really like Destiny but good lord it's fucking boring. It's currently on the back burner until my cousin gets his playstation 4 as I've promised I'll help him level up when he's got it.

I'm in the rare position of having nothing to play urgently as I'm not allowed to buy anything in case it turns up for Christmas.

I'm hoping to pick up Mordor, The Crew, Evil Within and Far Cry 4 in the sales if I don't have them already and WMMA4 once the bugs are ironed out.

I also have a drawer full of (3)DS RPGs to play that's full to the point of not knowing exactly what's in there anymore. I know there's Radiant Historia and a few Dragon Quests as well as some others.

I'm actually most stoked to play the stuff in early 2015, namely Elder Scrolls Online and Arkham Knight.

And I miss Clubs. I'd play most nights but don't think I could live with myself if I bought a One for just that.

In the meantime my currently playing list is Oblivion GOTY on PS3...

Currently playing

Football Manager '15 - It has my life

DA: Inquisition - Picked it up this week and still am just struggling to get my head around how massive the world is.

NBA 2k15 - Still trying to find a way to advance the story in MyCareer by pushing 2K15 Kirk Henrich out of the door of the team plane.

Backlog

South Park Stick of Truth - Yeah I'm late to the party I got it then put it away when new shiner games came out

Skyrim - I've completed the main questline but I still haven't done any of the side shit and checked out the world, again it got put aside for new hotness.

Saint's Row IV - Got it for my birthday when my 360 was fried, then I upgraded while it was repairing, I have to go back and actually play that thing but I never can pull myself away

WWE 2k15 - Again I got it when it came out but it's never even been out of the case for more than 10 minutes yet, just been more important games to play.

There are others, but they're the main ones
