I also had trouble with ability spheres for a short while. Luckily Yuna had learnt 'Extract Ability' by that stage, so I just had her uselessly wop things with it. >_>
-
Where the fuck can I find some ability spheres? There's nothing worse than being stuck on the sphere grid, unable to upgrade. >_<
And on the subject of Blitzball, Ropp > Most. He was the first guy I recruited from the Al-Bhed shop beside the Chocobo ranch, dramatically changed my team with his passing, tackling and blocking.

The only reason Trezeguet would stay is if none of the big clubs come for him, which at the minute seems unlikely. The other's have already pledged their alligence for the time being, including Buffon, surprisingly enough.
Barcelona's gonna have a top-notch defense to go with their attack next season. Thuram's still at least a season left in him and Zambrotta's one of the best full-backs in the world. Add them to Marquez and Puyol and you've got one of the best back-lines in Europe.

2-1 FTW. ^_^
On a side note, I'm taking some time out to train up my characters. I've always found the highroad to be a good place to rack up some early experience. I'd forgotten how truely bad-ass Auron was.

The Luca Goers are a bunch of cunts. I'm determined to beat them in the final, but I can't so much as get a point off them unless I'm already two or three down. >_<
Seriously, Keepa, in particular, is pathetic. Unless you can get like three blocks on the ball, the opposition always seem to score. Added to the fact that Tidas, by far and away the best player, always ends up being Subbed for Wakka, even when the others are playing like shit.
Anyone got any advice/tips?

My main hope is that Man United actually, y'know, buy a capable midfielder. :ohwell:

Update on the Ronaldo situation;
United: Ronaldo not for saleManchester United insist there is 'no possibility' of Cristiano Ronaldo being sold to Real Madrid.
Ronaldo has been heavily tipped to leave Old Trafford before the start of the season after being put up as a hate figure for his World Cup contribution.
The Portuguese winger was criticised for his supposed role in Wayne Rooney's sending off during England's quarter final exit.
He has suggested that the press campaign against him will make it difficult to continue his career in The Premiership.
The 21-year-old has targeted a move to Spain, with Real understood to be his preferred destination, although an interest from Barcelona has been alluded to.
New Real president Ramon Calderon would be prepared to back a bid for Ronaldo, who cost United £12 million three years ago, if coach Fabio Capello wants the exciting wide man.
But The Red Devils have issued a hands-off warning to any suitors of the former Sporting Lisbon starlet after confirming he is not for sale.
"Manchester United has noted the increasing media speculation over the future of Cristiano Ronaldo," read a statement on the club's official website.
"The club can confirm there is no possibility of Cristiano being sold. Cristiano recently signed a new contract until 2010 and the cub fully expects him to honour that contract.
"The club will not listen to any offers for Cristiano.
"Cristiano is one of the brightest young stars in world football as demonstrated by his performances at the World Cup and Manchester United is not in the business of selling their best young players."

I think the fact that he's said he wants to leave will reduce his fee a bit. Also the fact that as a player, his reputation has been damaged by his "performaces" at the World Cup. As a footballer, he is good. As a complete player, his diving and cheating will work against him, and also quite probably, against Man Utd.
I think £24M is way out of your reach. However, I think £16M - £20M is more accurate.
-
Considering how much he's improved as a player under us, I think it'd only be right we'd get around double what we paid for him. (Whether that was over the odds or not.)
Playing in England's done more for him than somewhere like Spain would ever do. He's toughened up and even looks a lot bulkier than he did in seasons gone by, though you wouldn't think it from his performances with Portugal where he's practically encouraged to cheat. :ohwell:
We should be holding out for as much as possible, given the circumstances. It's been made clear that he's one of the young player's the club wants to build around and that should be no different until we get the right price. Like you said, it is Real Madrid we're dealing with here...
-
He wanted to go to Madrid before the incident so this is a perfect excuse for him to leave now, thats if theres ANYONE who feels sorry for him, but frankly I don't, didn't his house get burned down too?

Why's Nakata retiring? The lazy cunt's only about 29. :ohwell:

Out: Jimmy Bullard, Jason Roberts, Pascal Chimbonda (Inevitably).
In: Emile Heskey.
Wow, Wigan's really going places this year.

It's all over Youtube.
Not as funny as I was expecting, mind. You can barely hear him. :/

Ferdinand was tried and tested as his club captain. He was shit.
I don't doubt him as a player, but Terry's got more of a captain's appeal and he's got the responsibility of the position week-in, week-out with Chelsea.
-
Gotta agree with Liam here. Gerrard, whilst an excellent club captain, hasen't so much as come close to showing the same kind of form for his country and has done nothing to warrent the captaincy.
Terry, on the otherhand is passionate and dedicated for England as much as he is for Chelsea. If there's anyone among the ranks thats deserved it, its him.
-
The only thing Neville's got against him is his age. Were it not for that, it'd probably just be a straightfoward switch.
Terry deserves it just as much.

Doesn't Appiah play in Turkey now? I'm sure it's Fenerbache.
He does, I think RK is just confused because Juve were linked with him over the past year.
I personally think Muntari was more impressive, he'd make a good buy for Man Utd or Arsenal.

RTE's coverage over here's been fantastic. Not only have they been showing every game, but the panel in the studio's a joy to watch.
Nothing beats a load of grumpy old Irishmen tearing England to shreds after a dull performance, ignoring altogether the fact that we never qualified. >_>
Eamon Dunphy in particular, is a legend. I don't think he's gone a whole show without saying anything that's deliberately contreversial. It's old as fuck, but here's

I'm pretty sure it was the current kit with the new sponsor that they released to the media, infact I'm almost certain, Chelsea did the same thing with Samsung last season.
-
The first Utd one seems likely enough.
I'm sure I saw a picture on the news when they announced the AIG sponsor of the new kit with the sponsors logo on and it was that kit.
-
Those United kits are fake as fuck, FSF. The second one in particular doesn't even have a sponsor!
And how do you know that isn't the template they're going to use? Just because there is no sponsor. (Y)
But, I doubt it. The badge looks pretty gay, but you never know.

And we're also keeping the same Away kit from last season only with a different logo. Shame, really. That white and Gold one doesn't look too bad compared to the current blue one.
Also, there's a fat Fulham fan always down in my local. He'll not be too pleased inheriting the token skin-tight kit from Spurs.

Apparently Arsenal have expressed an interest in Saviola according to his agent, I'd like to see him signed, I'd like Adebayor to be a 2nd option rather than a starter since his attitude stinks.

It's around this time when I really start to curse the fact I didn't do all the destruction sphere/side-quest parts in the trails, first time round. Trying to get Anima's a total bitch later in the game, mainly down to the virtual impossibility of the Dark Aeons. >_<
