My roomate took me to go see it, since she saw it when she went home a few weeks back and she loved it!! After watching it, I must say BRAVO!! Fucking awesome movie!! Though they did take a few pieces out, the movie was great, and I am glad that I am not the only one who has a weird fixation with HBC!

Was watching one of my favorite movies yet again: THE ROCK starring Sean Connery and Nicholas Cage It got me thinking as it usually does.... ED HARRIS as Brigadier General Hummel has got to be the role of his career!! Playing a well respected Marine commandeer, having grown tired of losing people under his command... and the truth not being told about how they died, He decides to take hostages (passively) and threatening to blow San Fran off the face of the Earth... just to get the Gov't's attention and the respect he believes his fallen men deserve. SO who do you think has played the role of their career and doesn't seem to get the accolades that they deserve?

Well let's try to say this... My "A" team is the Jets and has been my whole life... My "B" team is the Pats since I have been a fan of theirs SINCE BEFORE the rivalry was this intense. >Which doesnt make me moronic, just a fan that really dreads certain games each year, thats all. It IS just a game for me.... My "C" team is the Steelers since I now live in Pittsburgh and work at a place where I have been able to meet and chat with several of them on a regular basis.... but I shouldnt be able to root for them either cause of their rivalry with the Pats... right?
