Well, from what I saw, I thought that Beckham was actually the best midfielder Engalnd had out there against the Dutch. Wright-Phillps didn't perform to expectations, maybe it was down to nerves, maybe it was because he was played out of position, but the fact is, he didn't perforn. For once, Lampard looked tired. He didn't make any noticeable contribution and was very subdued. So, besides Stevie Gerrard, Beckham was one of the few midfielders England had that was actually productive, so I think he deserves some credit. Anyway, it's only a friendly. And we knoe how seriously Sven takes friendlies.

Jose didn't win only one Champions League Cup. He also won the UEFA Cup, and has led Porto to several domestic honors. And knocking out teams like Manchester United with a smaller team is not entirely based on luck. You have got to have a certain amount of tactical acumen to achieve that.

Now now Chelsea haters, don't get carried away. We're still 9 pts clear, and although we should have gotten the 3 points, Man City did really well defensively, full credit to them. Although from this match, it seems that we are missing Robben. Which is not good news as Robben could be out for months.

Now....how will Arsenal be able to reach that quota? This rule is a good thing tho. It is good for international football. And more local lads will be able to break into their clubs.

Has anyone been able to score free-kicks on a higher difficulty than amateur? I used to bang in them left,right and centre when I was in amateur difficulty, but when I moved on to Semi-pro, I either blaze it over the bar or the keeper saves it.

Final score: 3-0. I really can't look beyond Chelsea as champions.
