The fixtures over the Christmas period had often been problematic for Chelsea, but with maximum points from the last 2 games, I think we'll make it through to the New Year still leading at the top.

Nah, Defoe will be going to a big club, Tottenham is too small for him. Maybe not in the near future, but he will leave when one of the big clubs bid for him.

There are rumors that Joaquin of Betis will be arriving at Chelsea, although both the player and the club president has come out and denied it. Manchester United's Jonathan Spector may be shipped out on loan, with rumors that several Championship sides and West Brom are interested.

Defensively, Cole is way better than Carlos, no doubt. But offensively, Carlos might just have the edge over Cole. Carlos has incredible strength and speed, with the ability to score some pretty fine free kicks.

Chelsea vs Barca will be a great match. And I think Chelsea might just edge out Barca, with Barca having long-term injuries with several players like Larsson, Gabri and co.

I dunnoe if it's the patch or not, but ever since I installed the patch, my Madrid team has been very inconsistent. They either win by a huge margin, or lose by a huge margin. For example, I thrashed newly-promoted Murcia 6-1, but lose 5-0 to Valencia in the next game! The 2D match engine has definitely improved though. Now defenders don't run around like headless chickens.

I thought Ronaldinho was a more deserving winner, but that's not to say that Sheva is undeserving. Ronaldinho has been superb for both club and country, whereas Ukraine didn't really excel even with Shevchenko.

He's got the mouth, but also the ability to back it up. The players praise him too, and that can only be a good thing.
