Even though I'm a Chelsea fan, I do not support the act of tapping up other players or staff. Because I would not like it if someone came and 'tapped up' Frank Lampard or John Terry. And I blame Peter Kenyon for all this 'tapping up' nonsense.

Just got version 7 today, messed around a bit and came up with this (the pictures are of the same scene, only different angles/shots):

Parker and Forssell are now close to moving away from Stamford Bridge. Everton are closing in on both of them, but Birmingham could mount a late bid for Forssell. Shame really, I wanted to see them both succeed at Chelsea, especially Forssell. I just hope we don't regret selling them. And according to Skysports, Chelsea's shortlist for a striker has been narrowed down to 3: Benni McCarthy, Adriano and Samuel Eto'o. McCarthy seems to be the most likely one, but I personally would prefer Adriano out of the 3.

Problem with Pires is that Arsenal will only offer him a one year contract extension. And Pires wants more than that. So I'm going out on a limb here and predict that Pires will end up somewhere else next season. Also, Valencia has officially announced the capture of Edu.

Given last night, I fail to see how Liverpool couldn't win if they were motivated. ←

I feel sorry for the whole Milan team. They played really well, and didn't deserve to lose on penalties.

Well, now you finally get to see Gerrard smiling and dancing. Liverpool deserved the win. But Milan definitely did not deserve to lose on penalties. Liverpool fans better enjoy their win, because they will be playing in UEFA Cup next season.

And Liverpool wins the Champions League. And Dudek is the hero, who would have thought? Ironic that Sheva missed the crucial penalty.
