Some news regarding that 'goal':

So it's Milan vs Liverpool then. I want Pool to win it now. And not be able to defend it next season.

There are many ways to play this game, but my preferred strategy is WAR. During the first few turns, make 3 cities asap, and have one city churn out settlers, one churn out spearmen/warrior and one make workers. Then grab as much land as you can by making cities. And fortify at least 2 spearmen in each city. When you have run out of space to expand, it's time for WAR! But first, assembly a decent sized army (you don't need a big army in the early ages), and then declare war on a civ near you. Then overrun the civ with your army and take their cities. If you need reinforcements anytime during the war, try to negoiate peace. If you have the upper hand, sometimes you can even get a city from them during the negoiations. Then rinse and repeat until you're the sole dominant force in the game. Then you can decide what kind of victory you want. That's why I usually play as Romans. They are the perfect civ for warring.

Well, a double isn't too bad, and winning the Premiership after 50 years of waiting makes up for this disappointment. Full credit to Liverpool. They worked hard, had some luck, and won. Now I'll like to see them win the CL. They do not have much of a chance against Milan, but you never know in football. If PSV goes through though, we could have a close final.

Actually, if Liverpool win the damn thing, it is the FA that decides whether Everton or Liverpool gets the CL spot. Unless UEFA gives England 5 CL spots, which they have not ruled out.

I just downloaded this game, and it's good. I struggled with the controls at first, but soon, it came naturally. Intriguing plot, although I haven't got too far. One problem though, when I reached the Old Camp, the game keeps crashing at random times for no apparent reason.

CM 03/04 was the best management game, it was class. Pity my disc is scratched and i cant play it ←

I'm surprised to see Roy Carroll in the lineup. I thought that Howard had been solid and was performing better than Carroll, although he did make a mistake against Newcastle. Looks like Fergie still isn't sure who to put in goal in the FA Cup final.
