  1. never mind nothing to see here
  2. ...Another day, another Raptor movement: According to RealGM.com, Toronto will trade Roko Ukic and the rights to Carlos Delfino to the Milwaukee Bucks for Amir Johnson and Sonny Weems. This stems from Roko being basically the odd man out in the PG position with the arrival of Jarrett Jack and Toronto's lack of money to acquire Delfino who would also not see much court time with the Raps rotation looking basically complete. Amir became expendable to the Bucks with their signing of Hakim Warrick, so this may be a win-win with the players possibly getting more court time out of this. The good thing also is that both Amir and Sonny are in their last contract years (for Sonny, TO has a team option). On the bad side, Ukic was very impressive and he could make it big in the NBA, TO may be kicking themselves in the coming years but you never know.
  3. RealGM In the full article from SI, Posnanski wants to refer Jay's bad contracts as Ricciardi's
  4. In another cash dump, Rasual Butler has been shipped from the New Orleans Hornets to the Clippers for a future Draft Pick. Talk about your subtraction by SUBTRACTION Leon Powe has signed on with the Cavs and Big Baby Glen Davis resigns with Boston for 2 more years. also: Linas Klezia and Von Wafer have left the NBA for Olympiakos to join Josh Childress in Greece In other news: Wade has bought a new house in Chicago *maybe a sign of things to come...or maybe not*, and just a question, what are the odds, in your opinion, Lebron James actually signs with New York next year??
  5. RealGM.com So the Raps add another piece to their nice looking roster and bring along a little bit more Italia for their newly extended contract big man Bargnani. IMO good deal as from what I hear, Belinelli is a good kid with good range and could fit very well into the rotation at SG - Raps also officially signed Rasho to a one year contract in the $1.9 Mill with their Bi-Annual exception where he will be the main backup for Bargnani. this is the unofficial depth chart as of right now going into the next season for the Raps: C: Andrea Bargnani, Rasho Nesterovic, Patrick O’Bryant PF: Bosh, Reggie Evans SF: Hedo Turkoglu, Antoine Wright SG: Belinelli, DeRozan, Quincy Douby PG: Jose Calderon, Jarett Jack, Roko Ukic, Marcus Banks with one more spot open to sign either Pops or Delfino. IMO, I think they should get Pops because he is an energy guy and with Delfino, he will eat minutes from DeRozan and with plenty of Guards especially since they have a lot of combo guards like Belinelli, Jack, Douby and even Calderon it seems like a no brainer to grab a guy who always goes for rebounds.
  6. The NBA Live 10 soundtrack: http://www.ea.com/music/the-official-nba-live-10-soundtrack no big songs from what I can see like 09 version but sounds good enough And here's an image of the new Player's Gym And here's a blog on some of the new visual features: http://insideblog.easports.com/archive/200...ga-like-us.aspx and here's the trailer at the first look of the gameplay: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGZoz-qvv-w
  7. could just be to clear cap space for next year because if Chandler does not like Charlotte or they do not perform well this year he can rescind his Player Option for next year and be a free agent. also: Mavs sign Tim Thomas - good defender and perimeter shooter Pacers sign Earl Watson - good replacement for Tinsley as a backup Cavs waive Tarence Kinsey - to clear some space and cap room

    Billy Talent 'III'

To me, its like any Billy Talent album, it doesn't seem good but grows with time. I do like Devil on My Shoulder, Burn the Evidence and also Turn Your Back and Rusted from the Rain.
  9. Jamaal Magloire resigned with the Heat according to TSN.ca always kinda wished he would sign with Toronto for the obvious reasons but at the moment he would not fit and he seems to like the Heat organization so good for him (Y)
  10. Quentin Richardson's flippity floppity off-season: On June 25, 2009, Richardson was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies for Darko Miličić and cash considerations. On July 17, 2009, he was traded again by the Memphis Grizzles to the Los Angeles Clippers for Zach Randolph. On July 20, 2009, he was again traded by the Los Angeles Clippers to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Sebastian Telfair, Mark Madsen, and Craig Smith. :S Raps officially introduced Jarrett Jack today! He will most likely be their 6th man with his ability to play and defend both guard spots and if Derozan or whoever starts sucks he can easily be the SG starter so a great pick up overall RealGM.com Good signing for Orlando, they get a guy who can come off the bench and shoot, which is their philosophy Maybe a sign of things to come, who knows in this crazy off-season!?!?! Also with Millsap staying put it is almost inevitable that Boozer will move this summer Talk about recruiting former Raptors, first Parker, Moon and also reportedly Joey Graham as well
  11. Jarrett Jack given an offer sheet by the Raptors for $20 Mill for 4 years. Now if you are wondering why they'd pay for basically a backup PG, they are not, this is a versatile guy who can play the SG position as well. Also with the way Calderon plays, Calderon as well could spend time in the SG position with his shooting percentages. They are also still looking at pursuing Rasho Nesterovic and Carlos Delfino but with all these moves the Raps are making, they should look for a backup with better defensive skills at the Guard position
  12. I just hope we can get some backups with some skill because with this signing, we cannot really sign Parker, Delfino and of course Marion
  13. From RealGM Well if Turk does not come to T.O. the next best thing with Artest and Ariza off the market is Marion IMO, he played very well in the tail end of the season and I'd really like to see what he can do with a full season in Raptorland. Also, I think he may be able to mentor DeRozan this season.
  14. yeah personally, I'd say it would be a good pickup if not a great one! Here's a guy who can make his own plays and be a very effective offensive threat. But that'd mean Parker also would probably not come back as well. And if they pick up Delfino, they'd still prob need another SG and another SF to back up Turk and Derozan
  15. So its down to the wire right now for Hedo's services: either it is the Blazers or the Raptors at this point. Though the Star is reporting that it would not be good for the Raptors to sign him as it would be putting too much money into one player while not being able to sign Delfino, Marion, etc. Another Raptors option or known as the Hedo alternative for either the Blazers or the Raptors is actually Trevor Ariza, who is looking for $8-9 Million
  16. Rumor reported on TSN: Dany Heatley has been asked to waive his no-trade clause to go to Edmonton in exchange for Andrew Cogliano, Dustin Penner and Ladislav Smid. is he worth that much?
  17. realgm And a thumbs up for the Detroit Management, Curry was definitely a bad decision but still wasn't as bad as trading a Chauncey for "Mr. Me" Iverson
  18. tsn.ca Hard worker, Pops deserves a contract, it seems like their bench on the PF/C is looking like a pure rebounding team if Pops and Evans are the first subs.
  19. Well Yao's stock is gonna free fall in 2010, so if he is healthy by the end of next year, the Rockets may be the only team out there who might even be willing to invest in him at all
  20. This...never expected Yes Man to be good, was surprisingly wrong...and any Judd Apatow stuff for TV was also very good aswell, I loved F&G and Undeclared.
  21. So...would it be a stretch to wonder if the Raptors have a shot at Hedo now that Orlando has basically replaced him? Probably a big one but hey I'm a dreamer. RealGm He is a pretty good SG/SF, not the best available but he can be good off the bench for any team. I think he might actually fit into the Raps but only as a backup because he is inconsistent, and that is why Larry Bird did not pick up his option.
  22. RIP, known by all! Too bad it was for the wrong reasons But I will always think of him for his musical gifts and the legions of fans he gathered
  23. RealGM.com Nash in Kerr's ear again hmmm.. I think that NJ got another great deal for one of their players. They got a great deal for (even amazing) Kidd in getting Harris, possibly a future top tier point guard. They gave away Jefferson for Yi and Simmons (okay not as good but Simmons is a good player and they dumped Jefferson's salary). Now they traded away Carter for Lee (who is going to be a star), Alston can be good at times when he is Skip to My Lou, and Battie who did a good job during the playoffs!
  24. Realgm.com Also according to ESPN and RealGm, the Lakers are shopping around their 29th pick in an attempt to save as much money as possible so they can resign Odom, Ariza and Brown along with Kobe
  25. The draft is tomorrow, very exciting things happening! The Wolves now have two picks at 5 and 6. This may be a very unpredicatable draft after the first 3-5 picks. I expect a lot of trades to happen today and draft day as with the cap and a somewhat thin picking order teams may want to dump picks for sure thing NBA ballers this season. Also, what about this years crop of Free Agents! I mean its still not as stacked as 2010 but look at the list of potentials: Kobe Bryant, Carlos Boozer, Allen Iverson, Ron Artest, Jason Kidd, Shawn Marion, Andre Miller, Lamar Odom and Rasheed Wallace can become unrestricted free agents this summer. here is the rest of UFAs and RFAs: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?p...reeagents-09-10
