I have NBA Live 09, I thought it was a major step in the right direction for EA, but what really puts me off is the glitches. I do however love the day to day updates and flow of the game. Aswell I loved the online stuff for Live and I hope they can somewhat expand on that and Be a Pro which is nothing like the NHL EA Sports ones. But from what I hear 2K is still King for NBA from the last couple games. The covers for both look great. Live looks pretty gritty, which might be their theme this year with the NHL and the other EA Sports games. I am pretty excited for both games to really expand upon last year! Live 10:

Looks like the Wolves would like to take Rubio and maybe Jordan Hill making them a pretty good rookie team. They could possibly be the Blazers of a couple years back if they play their cards right and make smart signings this off-season

So what if LeBron goes to the Knicks or Nets (if they are in Brooklyn by then)? I think naiwf is a fan of the Knicks winning. Also, the Raptors are screwed. Just realized they dealt Kapono to the 6ers. Then Bosh gone next season brings us back to starting from scratch. What is it about Kapono that makes teams want to trade him? Isn't he...like, the most accurate three-pointer in history? He might be but at times he can't hit anything within the 3 point line, he is one of those shooters who cannot create shots, and, for a Raptors team in which many cannot create shots, it becomes frustrating. On the otherside, Mitchell and Triano only gave him certain amount of minutes during his seasons here. I believe in Miami he had more minutes and a bigger role. Another reasoning for trading him is his salary and the fact that what the Raptors need for next season is some scrappy Charles Oakley players and a strong SG/SF to start.

Got the PS3 last week, any suggestions on any good need to get accessories besides the HDMI cable and a second controller?

Okay so I just bought a PS3 and was out shopping and found that NHL 2K9 costs 20 bucks at Walmart in Toronto, while the NHL 09 costs what about 60-70 bucks? Just wondering if it is worth spending more money for the EA brand. Overall after months now, I am just wondering what the general consensus is between the two games

Thanks. Just curious, did you download it and test it with the test data? Just wanna make sure it works with those who don't have some of the same stuff that I have on my computer. (Sometimes releasing just the .exe to my friends on my course with the same programming package has failed, only the whole Visual Studio project worked) downloaded it, it says the configuration is incorrect?!?!

I may be considering purchasing an XBOX 360. Just wondering if there is really a big difference besides space and colour between Elite and Pro? I do not own an HD TV as well so I honestly don't see any big difference between the two besides the extra $100 buckaroos and double the space. Also any suggestions on any accessories or good games (I'm mainly buying it for sports and wrestling games)

When I was standing in line there were two instances that people with Yankees jerseys almost got into a scrap with some Jays fans. Going back today as well! Hope it is not as bad as last nights game

nope basically if you want a better one you would have to make it from scratch, actually here there has been a revival of some of the games, some are reviving the 1990 scenario, some the late 90's if you want some better scenarios

yeah unfortunately the Celts won Honestly, I think this series has really shown exactly how good this team can be. I think this series will do what it did for the Atlanta Hawks in last years playoffs against the Celtics, they proved they could go to game 7 against arguably the best team last season. Then this season, Atlanta dominated. I see big things in the future for the Bulls if they can re-sign Ben Gordon and keep the core together.
