  1. I did turn over You obviously missed the bit where I stated I find Conference football entertaining. It's not the most 'technicall sound', but it gave more of an entertainment value than Juventus vs. AC Milan. But hey, if you like it, you like it. In general, I dislike Italian football because every time I watch an Italian match it bores me to tears, so I turn them over as well.
  2. It wasn't boring because there was no goals, it was boring because the match was as dull as ditch water! Shit, I can watch a Conference game and enjoy it a hell of a lot. That match was just dull. Nothing of note happened at all, and I swear the players didn't try half the time. The defenders, as usual in Italy, did all the work, but it was still crap.
  3. Even I, as a Gooner have to admit that was funny. Annoying thing, I know two people who are *kinda* like that. Two years back, FOUR years after he left, a friend thought Ian Wright still was our number 8. Not a boy in my college claims he's an Arsenal fan, yet he doesn't know where we are in the league, barely knew any of our players, and didn't know our last result. Thing is, there are only a few fans like this, the majority of Arsenal fans know the team, and know a lot of the young Guns, so...yeah.
  4. I was really looking forward to this match, but found myself to tired/ill to pay attention! But I did expect a win for Monaco though, 3-0 to Porto really surprised me. But hey, it was 100 times more entertaining than last year's final!
  5. Spider Man 2 Blade: Trinity Alien vs. Predator Harry Potter and the Prisonner of Azkaban
  6. Credit: BBC.co.uk Well, this should add a little bit more weight to the "Kluivert to the Premiership" comments. Problem is his wages, and who could actually afford them!
  7. Is it out in the UK yet? If so, I might have to get my first Slipknot album I like Duality, it's a pretty good song IMO.
  8. Steven Gerrard DID say that as long as Gerard Houllier was there he would NOT leave. Now as far as I'm concerned, that's him saying "if he goes, I might have to think about my future".
  9. Don't you love it? People go on about how bad we are so bad and stuff, yet we're top of the fair play league! Where did Man Utd finish then?
  10. Keown gave all the money away IIRC. Much like Niall Quinn a few years ago. They both gave it to a charity. Can't remember which one
  11. You can only have one assistant. Mind you, on an old CM game I have managed to have two (via a glitch) and one of them was actually manager at another club!
  12. Holy crap Mudda! That's a class team. Okocha seems to be doing absolutley brilliant for you. A great front line aswell. I gotta say though, your defence does look a little weak.
  13. That's Keown's greatest attribute. He puts his own goal first, and defends it at all costs. He would gladly suffer a broken bone if it meant that the opposition wouldn't get a goal. It's a shame that he is the last player like that, there is nobody around who is anything like him any more.
  14. No truer words have been spoken...today anyway I didn't even know the UEFA cup final was on tonight until about 15 minutes before kick off!
  15. I gettit! But he looks nothing like Skeletore though... But he definetly looks like Kryten! That's great!
  16. Yay! Pierce Brosnan is still rocking on as 007! Thank god, he's great in the role, and at the moment I don't think anyone else could fill the role well enough.
  17. Skeletore? Who's Skeletore? Help... Morientes...not needed IMO. He's good, but we don't really need the guy if you ask me.
  18. Shocking that Valencia won isn't it? I had a feeling Marseille would get nowhere near winning. I didn't watch the match, but seen as Barthez got sent off, I'd have to assume they didn't do much.
  19. The Who - The most influential band still (sorta) going today. While they have lost two members, they are still going. They've wrote some of the best material ever, they make some of the best music ever, and they're live performances are simply amazing. And the ammount of bands I recall saying they've influenced them is quite long.
  20. I had the cheesy grin throughout as well. It seemed like such a fun atmosphere, I wish I had actually gone. But alas, I'm already planning for Dennis Bergkamp's testimonial. It hasn't been announced yet, but he'll have been with us for 10 years at the end of next season, so one would have to assume he'll have one.
  21. Ha...you said RVD when you meant RVN ! That's only three strikers. Seen as Fergie has lost all hope with Forlan seemingly, and the fact that Ole Solskjaer is probably off, you won't really have enough. Three strikers is an ok ammount, but if one of them get's injured or suspended, you're fucked. Smith would probably be the one who sits on the bench, as he isn't as talented as Saha, and isn't as good at marking the 'keeper...um, scoring as Van Nistelrooy.
  22. Rob Zombie - Go To California
  23. The biggest problem with Heskey is, when he plays well he plays very well. It's been said time and time again; Heskey relies on people telling him he's good. If people don't show confidence in him, he plays crap. I think Heskey isn't to bad of a player, but he needs to learn how to use his feet and stay on them
  24. Shhhh....not much I can do about that, which is annoying. When i saved it, it was blurry. Awkward...
  25. Same here. I love my little sig...don't you love my sig?
