  1. PALACE!!!! Hell yeah! 2-1, extra-time here they come! * If you're wondering why I'm supporting Palace here, it's because they're my local/second team.
  2. Crystal Palace 0-2 Sunderland (Sunderland lead 4-3 on agg) It's the only play-off going on tonight, so it's the only one I'd mention. Come on Palace! You can do it! I reckon Palace will play Ipswich in the final, I still have hope for Palace.
  3. I agree 100%. Lehmann is a class 'keeper, and there are only two 'keepers I'd accept to replace him; Stuart Taylor or Sebastien Frey. No-one else. I really hope we don't go anywhere near bloody Mark Schwarzer. Yes he's a good 'keeper, but I don't think he's good enough. I lost faith with Lehmann, and dreaded EVERYTIME the ball was passed to the guy. I was terrified he'd fuck up or do something stupid. But my faith has been restored after recent performances.
  4. If he has the same update I do, yes he is, by GAWD he is great.
  5. Congrats guys. How do you feel about possibly getting Sylvain Wiltord on a free transfer? Not a bad deal in itself...but it's still Wiltord.
  6. He hasn't done a thing since the Tottenham incident. With Lehmann, you'd expect him to have at least stood up to someone, get in their face, yell at them, SOMETHING! But he hasn't done a thing. There have been a few incident's since where I expected him to do something, but I was pleasenlty surprised that he just stood up and brushed it off. Anyway, I think he realised something from the reaction of Arsenal fans that we were absolutley sick and tired of his antics. When he didn't celebrate with the team after the Tottenham match, that was when I thought something had changed. On the distribution note; I getcha. But he has launched SO many of our counter-attackes over the course of the season. Corner > Lehmann catches > Lehmann throws to Pires > Pires gives it to someone > That someone scores That's how quite a few of our counter-attacks happened.
  7. Distribution? IMO, he's one of the best distributors of the ball I've ever seen. Well, if we're talking about throwing anyway. He needs to sort out the kicking...which was probably what you meant. I'm going to go back to my hole.... ...back. I think Lehmann has realised how much he fucked up against Tottenham with his eratic behaviour, and has realised how much many Arsenal fans wanted to hurt him after it. I think he'll be ok next season in that department.
  8. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind 9.5/10 This movie is just really good. The story is good, the actors are good, everything is good. It loses half a point for dragging a bit in the middle. Also, I think I'm in love with Clementine Kruczynski (Kate Winslet's character). Might be the hair, probably the personality. Kate Winslet is great. Star Trek: Generations 8/10 What can I say; I'm a sucker for ANYTHING Star Trek. Star Trek: First Contact 10/10 Love it. It has the Borg, so it automaticall shoots up 7 marks for that anyway. The plot is brilliant, and as usual, the cast are great.
  9. Why don't Chelsea just offer what he wants? I mean, he's there best and most influential player at the moment. Without him, their team will fall apart. B But I agree with Gooner4Life, £40k a week is still damn good. Why not just stick with that? Lampard is acting like the little kid that wants a toy because his friend has it. If other players weren't earning that much, or if Chelsea weren't owned by a billionaire, he wouldn't THINK of asking for a pay increase.
  10. I debated about going today, but in the end I decided against it. I didn't fancy going up there, and my friend couldn't handle standing for hours because he has fucked up knees. I went to the last one, which was fun.
  11. Something about it just wouldn't seem right. It'd be to Hollywood for a Bond film if Tarantino directed it.
  12. I again, only watched it for the voting because Terry Wogan is absolutley hilarious during that. By the way, how bad WAS the Serbian and Montenegro song? Wogan absolutly slated it whenever anyone voted it!
  13. My god they are just fricking stupid. I swear celebs do it so people will comment on what an 'unusual' (see, STUPID) name their kid has. They don't care about their lives it seems!
  14. Did you see the t-shirt he was carrying around after the match? That was great. It said 'Comical Wenger' and had what he said last season about going unbeaten.
  15. Yes...but my opinion is all that matters. Only kidding of course
  16. We are invincible! We are, simply put, so damn good.
  17. Lucky? Hmm...unlucky if you ask me. She seems like a total diva from what I've seen. Plus, she's ugly as fuck IMO.
  18. It's sort of like the changing of the guard. The last remnants of the great Arsenal defence is leaving. Winger? WINGER!?! He's a bloody striker...silly people...
  19. Yeah, Silvinho was a class player at Arsenal. Are you forgetting the wondergoals? The amazing wing-play? The assists? He had/has so much skill it was incredible. He's not as good as he was now, but he plays for Celta...so that explains it
  20. 3-1 I can't see Leicester going down without a fight, but I can't see us coming away with anything but a win.
  21. Oh god...it's not that time of year again is it? Come on England! Get a point and you'll have done your country proud!
  22. I thought that was what you meant, but with you being a total and utter IDIOT, I wasn't sure. Only kidding ...or am I?
  23. It should only be 1st and 2nd of all the (major) European nations involved in the Champions League. Otherwise it becomes a little stupid, especially when a team who, say, finished fourth in their league goes on to win the Champions League. It supposedly makes them the best in Europe, but they obviously can't be because they're not the best in their country.
  24. Please god yes! I love this programme! We're mid-way through the most recent series here in the UK, and I love it. The Spike/Angel interactions are brilliant. I seriously hope it does get picked up and then we can get it over here.
  25. You may not have meant it like this, but to me that sounded like you don't think he deserved it. He was a very good player, not class no, but like Beckham, he was on of THE most commited players I have ever seen. It's one of the most respectful things I've ever seen in football, and he definetly deserved it.
