  1. I hope Predator wins. Alien sucked. It really did.
  2. I think that can be roughly translated from Hollywood Actor to Normal Person as ''I'm being replaced so I'm making it look like I'm quitting to save my reputation. w00t.''
  3. I recently (like last week) threw out Attitude and Warzone, Thunder and Nitro. Because they sucked! I kept WCW Vs The World and WWF No Mercy because they are the best wrestling games for their respective platforms. RAW2 is my favourite game right now, because it has editable appearances and I can put new music onto my X-Box to play in the game. Which fucking rules and never makes it go out of date. That's why WWF No Mercy was so fucking good, along with it's great game engine.
  4. Squancho, you must live in a cave. I rarely listen to radio or watch TV but I've heard the song like a hundred times in the car and on TV. It's played all the fucking time. >_< And while it may be the best BS song to date, she still sucks more cock than George Michael.
  5. The Macarena. One-Maca-Two-Maca-Three Shoot That Fat Guy, Four-Maca-Five-Maca-Six Steal Their Money, Seven-Maca-Eight-Maca-Nine Now I'm Loaded, HAAAAAAY ROB THE LIQUOR STORE~! (8) How GREAT would that be? And I'm betting they're have Spice Girls song too...What I Really Really Want If Your Fucking Purse Bitch, Zigazigah. Also greatness.
  6. Wattson used Electric/Steel types, so Rock pokemon are a bad decision. Steel > Rock. And although Rock > Electric, there won't be a type advantage. Despite that, I'd go with a quick Geodude that knows Magnitude (Ground attack), which is good against Steel and Electric. And Geodude should be resistant to Electric attacks and any Steel moves Wattson's pokemon may know should be too effectice as Geodude's hald Ground type. Steel weaknesses are fire and fighting, if you have any fire or fighting pokemon, or even a pokemon that know a fire or fighting type attack use them (unless they're weak to electric attacks). Also, Wattson's pokemon know the extremely gay move Shockwave, which is a strong electric attack which NEVER misses. Ever. Anyways, good luck, Cloudster.
  7. To get past the Team Magma/Aqua members blocked the way to the ski-lift thing you have to go to Meteor Falls first. Requires you go through Fiery Path, head North, then West to Fallabor Town (past the ashy fields). Continue going West then South and you should (after battling many trainers) find the entrance to Meteor Falls. Oh, and Kaney, you don't have to use Strench to find Cyndaquil, you can find it anywhere in Fiery Path. Along with Moltres.

    Clue

I think it's the merging of the words Clue and Ludo (a board game). w00t - Ludo
  9. To breed (in the latest games) you need a female and a male from a certain breeding pool and put them in daycare and they will sex0r and make an egg. The baby that hatched can learn certain breeding moves which can only be taught to certain pokemon through breeding and the father must have this move in his 4 assigned moves. Anyways, that's complicating, the breeding pools are easily found on the pages of the pokedex on Serebii.net. Each page has the pokemon's ''egg groups'' with a pulldown list of all the pokemon it can breed with in that group. Some have two groups so can breed with many other pokemon, not just the same species. B) And Obsession, Pokerus is very rare (rarer than shiny pokemon), the reason a few of your pokemon have it is because it's contagious, just like a real virus. And yes, you can only get Rattata in FR/LG, he does not appear catchable in Colosseum, Ruby or Sapphire. Me might be in Emerald, who knows?
  10. You did? And I already seen Serebii.net, where do you think I found out about Emerald? Oh, and Cloudy/CI - Diglett Rancher = Pancho. And that episode was the Underground ound-Up, from the second/Orange Island series. My favourite series. B) And I hate cute pokemon. And Misty's the Cerulean gym leader again, with her sisters (apparently). She comes back for an episode which I don't think has aired in the US yet. Togepi FINALLY evolves. And yes, I shall abuse the Wireless Adapter. It only works for up to a few hundreds feet though, so it's not like I'm be reaping ass all over the country. And I doubt anyone else plays pokemon in my neighbourhood anyways. (¬_¬)
  11. I have not located Squirtle. I assume you'd have to fish for one with a super rod in a remote area though, makes sense, right? I may just go back to the start and try to catch every pokemon I see...

    Clue

Stole my line. I have the interactive version for the Phillips CD-i and it rules. I can play Cluedo even when people don't want to play it with me! Genius! (And yes, I still have a CD-i )
  13. There were many Orange Islands, they have never ever featured in a game. I think the animé series created it because they had a huge demand for more cartoons but had nothing to write about. Johto is not in FR/LG, there are however ''Mystery Islands'' to explore with Johto pokemon on them along with regular Kanto ones. I also miss Night/Day stuff, but I usually play at night a lot so it'd be pitch black all the time. Not cool. But maybe Hoenn was just cast in sunlight all the time? It's possible. (¬_¬) I never really played Yellow, so I don't know how great it is to have Pikachu follow you around. I assume it's a bit gay. And contests were cool sidequest, I was kind of annoyed that they aren't in the FR/LG games. I mean, why not? They were cool.
  14. Meh, I have 30% English version. So the main things like items were translated. And sell rare candies all the time, they utterly suck. It's worth battling as stats increase better through training, not candying. Lv. 100 pokemon through Rare Candies < Lv. 100 pokemon through hard training. My favourite version was Blue, my first game. I bought it for Christmas (Xmas money) the year it first came out to see what all the hype was about, because nothing which was praised as much as that was could have been crap. And it wasn't. And Pokemon Stadium topped it off for me. I got Gold, but completed it within a two months. Never got Stadium 2. But Ruby was excellent, I don't know why lots of people say the new games suck. This is the best version to me in gameplay and graphics. The second generation sucked in my opinion. It's a pity they can't just make one big game with Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, the Orange Islands and Orre and all the pokemon. It would be the best selling game ever or at least up there with the best. That is why I use a hacked version of Sapphire when I play for fun, with all 386 pokemon in it. Infact, I just thought of another use for the thread.... Post Your Team & Progression! For those who can't be bothered doing a diary, but want to show off their team and accomplishments. I have just arrived in Lavaridge Town in Hoenn in the previously mentioned hack of Sapphire. Pokédex: 9 Badges: 3 Team: Breloom - Grass/Fighting - Mega Drain, Headbutt, Mach Punch, Stun Spore - Lv. 24 Combusken © - Fire/Fighting - Scratch, Peck, Ember, Double Kick - Lv. 25 Diglett - Ground - Scratch, Sand-Attack, Dig, Magnitude - Lv. 23 Kirlia - Psychic - Shock Wave, Confusion, Thief, Calm Mind - Lv. 22 Pikachu - Electric - Thundershock, Thunder Wave, Quick Attack, Strength - Lv. 21 Onix - Rock - Rock Throw, Rock Smash, Tackle, Screech - Lv. 22 I've made a rule to only catch 6 Pokémon, the other 3 Pokédex entries are evolutions (Shroomish -> Breloom, Torchic -> Combusken, Ralts -> Kirlia). Try it, it's like a handicap in golf and makes it harder. B) Hopefully Breloom, Blaziken, Dugtrio, Steelix, Raichu and Gardevoir can beat the Elite Four. Sounds like an awesome team though, all of them are my favourites, except Raichu, but I need something to cover my other pokemon's (Breloom/Combusken's) weaknesses (water/flying).
  15. I've avoided playing Fire Red or Leaf Green. I've heard lots abotu it though and played it....a little bit. I couldn't resist. I like the item sprites the most.
  16. This unbelievably retarded. And I thought the US and the UK had farces of governments.
  17. Sucks. Phil Tufnell doesn't belong on a TV no matter what. I laughed at the wetslide thing, quite funny when that useless woman was on it. She fell before she was even on the thing and then fell in the water headfirst.
  18. Well, technically you can't catch the Johto pokemon until you've beat the Elite Four. I won't tell you why though, might spoil it...
  19. Well, it was about time eh? There's nothing more annoying than people blabbing through a diary so I thought all Pokémon talk should go here and not in people's diaries. The Diary Cube is in full Pokéswing so what better time to start up a Pokédiscussion? And I'll stop doing the Poké-isms now, don't worry. Well, we already know Pokémon isn't about a farfetched cartoon, merchandise or trading cards. It's a fucking computer game, and a damn good one at that. Pokémon Red & Green were released in Japan, and Red and Blue were released everywhere else and were a massive hit on the old Game Boy. Note that Green and Blue are basically the exact same game, except Blue is in English, Green is in Japanese with minor differences. After this the animé cartoon series was born and Pokémon Yellow was created for Pikachu lovers everywhere. Wahey. Anyhoo, after that came the metallic series, Gold and Silver with the addition of 100 new Pokémon and whole new area called Johto on the GBC. And then Pokémon Crystal, based around the legendary dog Pokémon Suicune was a follow up with special features excluded in Gold/Silver. Then came the gem series, Ruby and Sapphire on the GBA. With new features such as Pokémon abilities, Pokéblocks, great graphics and more Pokémon of course this is by far the best Pokémon game to date, in English anyways. Shortly after, a 3D Pokémon RPG was created as Pokémon Colosseum which was considered disappointing by most as it didn't have the Game Boy feel to it which makes Pokémon games so good. Now recently Fire Red and Leaf Green, remakes of the original Japanese games will be released Stateside and in Europe for the GBA (September and October). Which will have Pokémon from the metallic series as well as the original 151 which started the whole Pokémon craze in the 90's. I'll be looking forward to getting myself a copy, despite now being 17 years old. But what was that all for? Well, because about a week ago or so it was announced in Japan that there was a new addition to the gem series coming out in Japan called Pokémon Emerald which is said to combine stories from both Ruby and Sapphire to involve both Team Aqua and Team Magma allowing you to catch both Groudon and Kyogre, the legedary Pokémon from Ruby and Sapphire. However, this game will be based around the other legendary Rayquaza and is chock full of neat little upgrades and new features which make Ru/Sa look like a pile of crap. There's also apparently a new form of Deoxys made especially for the Emerald version (just like Fire Red has Deoxys Attack Form, Leaf Green has Deoxys Defence Form and Ru/Sa have Deoxys Normal Form). It's set in Hoenn, like Ruby and Sapphire, but apparently will have new areas to explore, green themed clothes for your character, 2 vs 2 trainer battles, Pokémon sprite animations (like in Crystal), new battle tournaments, and WILL be compatible with the other recent games (Ruby, Sapphire, Colosseum, Fire Red and Leaf Green) and can use the Wireless Link (which comes with the game) to trade/battle with other gamers. Can you say w00t? In addition to that, in the new film in Japan, a new Pokémon appears called Laxbe, a pre-evolution of Snorlax. This is obviously paving a way to a new Pokémon series in the future after FR, LG and Emerald are done worldwide. This both rocks and sucks as I bought Ruby, but I want Emerald too when it comes out and it upsets my pattern of games. I have Blue, Gold, Ruby and will get Leaf Green, but Emerald will be green too, Nintendo buggers. . But it'll basically be the same as Ruby... Discuss.
  20. FM should be better, since it's SI Games making them. Eidos could pull of an upset and make a better game but I doubt it. FM's looking pretty awesome.
  21. That would rawk though. A Spiderman + X-Men FILM would be even better.
  22. Spiderman. Clearly. Normal person inherits superpowers through genetic reactions. Wahey, that makes sense. And Mary Jane is the T&A here. Batman. Rich pompous tit who has his butler do everything and bums Robin everynight. Not cool. No T&A...unless you count Catwoman, who sucks. Black Cat > Catwoman. Superman. He's an alien from a non-existant planet. Rules out al credibility that a superhero has. (¬_¬) Lewis Laine sucked. Hulk was too unbelievable. Plus he's a retard - HULK SMASH~! The X-Men were all awesome...but Spiderman was the original X-Men kind of character. Spiderman should join the X-Men. (¬_¬) Daredevil kinda sucked. He has superhearing, which is almost like a cheap version of Spidey Sense. And he's a bit bland. There you have it.
  23. Black Cat would sooooooo get it if Peter Parker was Kristofer Craig. This game rules but I hate the repetitive missions. OH MY GOD, SPIDERMAN, SAVE ME I'M BEING ROBBED. OH MY GOD, SPIDERMAN, SAVE THAT PERSON. OH MY GOD, SPIDERMAN, SAVE ME I'M BEING ROBBED. OH MY GOD, SPIDERMAN, SAVE ME I'M BEING ROBBED. OH MY GOD, SPIDERMAN....ach I'm just kidding. Wanted to see if you'd stop. The real ''missions'' are great, but some of them are fucking hard. Mysterio especially. I kept falling in the fire/water.
  24. Why couldn't I have been invited? I can be geeky.
  25. Ah well...looks crap. At least it's better than the X-Box design though.
