  1. It could be my Irish love coming out, but I actually believe Quinn will be good. Typically quarterbacks in his position with first round talent, but that backup for a year or more, step in and are successful. And there is little aruging that Quinn is stepping into a situation with talent around him. I hope Brady does well.
  2. I could definitely disagree, and was surprised by the fact they leap frogged Penn State, however I don't see any point in arguing over poll places at this point in the season. If Tech were somehow able to run the table and beat Ok St, OU, and then Missouri in the Big 12 Championship Game, they should end the season higher then Penn State, so arguing over the spot at this point is moot. And while I don’t mean to take ANYTHING away from the Tech victory (which was an amazing game to watch), I still left thinking Texas was better. Tech played perfectly, while Texas appeared to be a very exhausted football team. For me… this week and the game with OU will tell us just how “strong” of a football team Tech really is. There is a lot of difference between wining games as the underdog, and winning games you’re suppose to win against big time competition. If Tech can win this week and then in three weeks against OU, they will prove to me they deserve to be up there ahead of Penn State. However at this point, I would be lieing if I said I thought they would do it. I simply do not. In fact, at this point, not only do I believe Tech won’t be in THE BCS game… but in a BSC game at all.
  3. Speaking of fantastic.... yah, the Mavs still suck. :lmao: Also, to answer these questions

There has always been 14 shows per season, but for some reason Wiki only listed 12 this season. I'm not sure if the number changed when the new contract rolled over, or maybe whomever updated Wiki didn't include the correct amount of shows. All season they've only listed 12 episodes though for this season... Hopefully it's just a case of Wiki not being accurate. South Park Episode Guide ... also was Panademic a two parter, or three parter?
  5. If Singletary is retained as coach... I know where Hard Knocks is going next year. HA
  6. I'm thinking Singletary has a great chance of keeping the job unless as you pointed out someone huge like Carroll, Cowher, Holmgren, ect wants the job. I say this because they gave Singletary the shot OVER Mike Martz, who was brought in by the new GM, whom you would have thought would want "his guy" running the show. Their confidence in Singletary to take over the team with Martz available shows you how much they wants Singletary to succeed.

Meh... I didn't care much for the second part of this triology. They hammered to death the 'im startled' punch line from the previous episode, and I'm still over all disappointed since their last triology (ImaginationLand) was awesome. ... though I'm LOVIN Craig's character development. I find myself hoping they begin to incorporate him into the shows more often similiar to the way they have Butters.
  8. Poor Drew Brees. No Bush. No Duece. No Will Smith. Basically Marquis Colston from what I saw last week. No Jeremy Shockey either for that matter... if the man can take the Saints to the playoffs as even a WILDCARD the man deserves to have his name imprinted on the side of the MVP trophey.
  9. Hamels is a BEAST. I still think the winner of the series will be which teams 2-4 hitters come alive since both were decent, but not great as a unit.

    South Park

Looks like another triology series, since there are only two more episodes left in the season.... though it has no shot of being as good as 'Imagination Land'. Also I laughed hardest at their Peruvian Flute Song was "Mary Had A Little Lamb". Ha..
  11. I like Katey Sagel & Angus Turner Jones as Peggy and Bobby. I could also maybe see Sally Fields playing Peggy, though Sagel would do just fine. As for Luanne... the problem with Brittany Murphy is that she isn't very attractive. Jamie Pressly HAS to play Luanne. She's basically played that same character for a decade. As much as I dislike the idea of Tom Hanks, I can't really expand upon it, simply because I don't have a suitable replacement. It's funny that with all the different type of actors in Hollywood... one would THINK the easiest body type to fill would be that of an slightly over weight, middle aged white guy. Yet I can't think of one.
  12. He should... after all he got a the job by being a defensive play caller, and due to their injuries in the defensive secondary, they probably could use someone calling plays who has a history of being able to mask weaknesses with great play calling.

    South Park

Looks interesting. I just wonder what the 'international crisis' is? There really isn't any telling with South Park.
  14. I learned today that the big rumor going around 'Frisco was that Mike Nolan would be fired next week during their bye week. No surprise, really. I actually said that when Martz was announced as the OC that Nolan's days were numbered. However what shocks me is that from a report I just heard on ESPN, MIKE SINGLETARY would be the interim coach, not Mike Martz. This is GREAT news. Don't get me wrong, as a Niner fan, I love Mike Nolan and would love to see him remain on as coach. however if a change has to be made, I am LOVING the idea of Mike Singletary over Mike Martz.
  15. Aaron Rodgers: 1,668 yards with 12 TDs, 4INT and a rating of 98.4 (4th in the NFL) Brett Favre: 1,321 yards, with 13 TDs, 8 INTs, and a rating of 92.3 (13th in the NFL) How's that Favre vs Rodgers battle going ESPN? Huh? Odd, how come when A-Rod out duels Manning, and ESPN's Man Crush drops a game to the RAIDERS... they don't compare the two. But in Farve's ONLY good game of the year, ESPN spent all week comparing the two. Fucking reDONKulious. I'm boycotting ESPN. Strickly NFL network for me.
  16. I believe the Phillies are not only going to win this series, but possibly in as little as five. I love the Sox, but they honestly shouldn't have even been in a Game 7. Drew and Yuk were the only two swinging the bat with any type of consistency. Papi, Bay, and the Capitian were basically DEAD for most of the series, with the expection of one or two at bats a piece. The only reason Boston was even in the series was because of their pen, and the Rays consistently let the Sox stick around. If they do that to Rollins, Howard, Utley, they'll lose. Philly has just as good of a bullpen, and the heart of their line up isn't walking dead. ...Amazing season, none the less by Tampa who I hope will not put a for sale sign during the winter months and sell off all of these young, talented players.
  17. I don't care who it is... Texas, 'Bama, Penn State. Whomever it is, I just wanna see only one of those teams make it undefeated and then I want to see OU run the table. Just because I want to see the two faced, fucking sports media put OU in the title game after not letting Georgia in the title game last year 'because they couldn't even win their own conference'. I realize this won't happen. If Penn St wins this week, they have a straight shot to the title game, and 'Bama only has the SEC title game left considering LSU & Auburn looks to be shit. If one of them slips up, my scenerio COULD happen considering Texas has a brutal schedule, and OU only has Okie State left at the end of the year. ... of course my scenerio becomes nutsfuck is Texas loses a second game, and OU has to play in the Big 12 title game anywho.
  18. 6-0, I'm getting Colston back this week, and Willie Parker in another week or two. ...again, you guys can just go ahead and crown my ass right now.
  19. Wade Phillips is the worst coach in the NFL? Really? Cause Rod Maranelli, Tom Cable, & Brad Childress all say thank you for that ringing endorsement.

I enjoyed the episode, and it is one of the few shows that I can remember where there is only one main storyline. I guess Stan/Emo kids would be the secondary story, but Cartman/Wendy carried pretty much the entire show, and carried the show well. The very end was a little weak, but over all I enjoyed the show. The only part I was like "WTF" over was Cartman's postering. What was with him going all 'white boy, fake gangsta rapper' on us every time he would go to confront Wendy. I found it funny, but couldn't make the connection as to why Trey/Matt kept doing it over and over.
  21. 1. Which player is most responsible for the Falcons' newly founded relevancy: Matt Ryan, Roddy White, or Michael Turner? Matt Ryan... The Falcons have had a decent running game even without Vick, and have been poor. Don't get me wrong, Turner is a BEAST, and without him ATL wouldn't be where they are, however Ryan gives the Falcons a playmaker at QB similiar to Vick, only in a different way. 2. At the end of the season, how will Jason Campbell rank among the other QBs? Middle of the road, if you rank them, would I say between 8 and 15. 3. Will this be the Pacman's last season in the NFL? While chances are good he may be done in Dallas, SOMEONE will pick him up.... and by someone I mean probably the Bengals. 5. Who's to blame for the Bengals being so terrible: SOOO terrible? Carson Palmer's elbow. I blame Mike Brown for the Bengals being terrible in general, but in this particular case with the Bengals being THIS terrible, I blame Carson's elbow. You give them a healthy Carson Palmer and they're still horrid, just not this bad. 6. Of the four one-loss/undefeated teams (Titans, Steelers, Giants, and Bills), who is most likely to have the biggest fall from grace? I like all of them. I believed the only one out of the bunch I picked to miss the playoffs would be the Titans, and that is who I will pick to miss the playoffs. I still see the Jags putting it together, and possibly knocking the Titans out of the division/playoff spot. 7. Of the seven one-win/winless teams (Chiefs, Seahawks, Raiders, Rams, Texans, Lions, and Bengals), who is most likely to salvage their season and somehow sneak into the playoffs? Seattle. I STILL think they will win the division. 8. Were the Patriots smart for sticking with Cassel, or should they have sought another starting QB? Should have brought in another QB. I said it then, and say it now. 9. Speaking of the Patriots, does the loss of Tom Brady expose Belichick as a fraud? No, it exposes how GREAT Tom Brady is. They fact that the Patriots may still win the division proves that Belichick is worth his 'cred. 10. Has Brett Favre been better so far this season than he was last season? No. Last year Favre carried the Packers on his shoulders until Ryan Grant exploded onto the scene. And on top of that, while Favre was playing so well last year, he seldom turned the ball over. This year his INTs are back up, and if you take out that crazy 6TD game, he really isn't having that spectacular of a year. 11. Whose future looks brightest: Aaron Rodgers', JaMarcus Russell's, Joe Flacco's, or Matt Ryan's? Matt Ryan, though I think Rodgers is just beneath him. Flacco could have a good career as well, though I think Russell will follow the line of Alex Smith, and be a complete bust who has to stay on with his team for a longer then he should due to his contract. 12. Here are the top ten draft picks: Jake Long (OT, Miami) Chris Long (DE, St. Louis) Matt Ryan (QB, Atlanta) Darren McFadden (RB, Oakland) Glenn Dorsey (DT, Kansas City) Vernon Gholston (LB, New York Jets) Sedrick Ellis (DT, New Orleans) Derrick Harvery (DE, Jacksonville) Keith Rivers (LB, Cincinnati) Jerod Mayo (LB, New England) Excluding the Falcons and Raiders, which team is benefiting the most from their pick so far this season? How come we have to exclude those two teams? Matt Ryan is already the rookie of the year, and what has D-Mac done for the Raiders? He's had one big game, that's it. If you force me to exclude Ryan, then I would go with Felix Jones from the Cowboys, and if I have to choose strictly from your list, I would say Jake Long who is a BEAST as a tackle. 13. What player has had the best single-game performance to date? Michael Turner, Week 1. With that single game, he forced teams to fear him as a runner, which in turn has helped protect Matt Ryan far more then any offensive lineman can. 14. What player has surprised you the most in a good way, and who has surprised you the most in a bad way? Good, Ronnie Brown. I've always thought he was a junk player, though he is starting to make me a believer in him. Bad, Ocho Cinco. It's not ALL his fault, but less then 20 catches on the season isn't very good. 15. What rookie RB has the most long-term potential? Felix Jones, just for the simple fact that Dallas knows how to use their personell, and very seldom asks them to do too much. Felix Jones will never carry the load for a team consistenty, much like DMC, Mendenhall, Stewart, ect will, however he will be more valuable in a change of pace & kick/punt return game. 16. Which Browns QB (Anderson or Quinn) will get traded and where should he go? Anderson... even after the season he had last year, and then signing a HUGE contract, he had three bad games and the team was on the verge of moving past him. Eventually he will hit a slow spot again, and the team will rush Brady Quinn out there... as for where he'll end up? Probably Tampa if Gruden is still around 17. Biggest disappointment so far: Browns, Seahawks, Bengals, or Texans? Texans. Seahawks will still win their division, I didn't pick Bengals or Browns to do anything, anyways. I actually thought Houston had a chance of snagging a wild card..... 18. What happens to Rex Grossman, Tarvaris Jackson, and Troy Smith now that their starting jobs with their current teams are probably lost for good? Grossman and T-Jack are cut. Troy Smith probably will stay with the team for another couple years possible as a back up. 19. Are the Packers better off without Favre? Yes... because if they didn't play Rodgers now, they wouldn't have resigned him, and since Farvre has one or two years MAX, you wouldn't have had a 'plan going forward' at the most important position in sports. 20. Is Kyle Orton a very good player, or is he just an efficient passer in the right place at the right time? Kyle Orton and the term "very good player" should not be used inthe same sentence ever again. 21. Who gives Tampa Bay the best chance at a championship: Brian Griese or Jeff Garcia? Garcia 22. Is Mark Bulger a good QB in a bad situation, or is he overpaid and overrated? A mixture of both. 23. Considering how well Turner has done with the Falcons and how he is a few years younger than LT, did the Chargers make a mistake in letting him go? Yes... LT is on the verge of falling off. If they would have kept Turner, they could have lessnened LT's role and prolonged his career, while having an effective 'plan going forward' at running back. I don't see LT ever returning to his dominate form. 24. Which team is hurting the most due to injuries? The Patriots... no arguement. 25. Who is the frontrunner for Defensive Player of the Year? Courtland Finnegan. His stats are crazy even on a Madden video game. 26. Which team has benefited the most from their offseason decisions? Falcons 27. If you knew for a fact that a WR would end up winning the MVP award, who would it most likely be? TO, best player on arguable the best team in the league. Doens't it work that way for QBs? 28. What is your favorite moment of the season so far? Jason Elam missing 20 yard field goal, then making a 50 yarder to win the game... oh yeah, and this NUTSFUCK amazing pass in between by Matt Ryan. 29. Which team is most likely to hire Bill Cowher after this season is over? I actually believe Cowher will end up in college, and no matter where he goes it will be in a few years. However if he just wants to get back into coaching this year, I would pick St Louis or 'Frisco. St Louis becaus of the fact when things go bad, teams typically hire the opposite of their coaching preference. St Louis typically goes after offensive guys, so if they go with the inverse, Cowher would be their man. And he may consider taking the job considering the talent level they have on offensive. I also mention Frisco, because of the fact that they are similiar to Pittsburgh in the fact that they are an old school, family run team, who has a lot of talent on both sides of the football. As a fan of the Niners, I really wish 'Frisco would let Mike Nolan hang on a few extra seasons and see if he can continue to develope the team. However I realize change is more then likely near, and I would imagine 'Frisco would be a top job considering the talent level the team has, on top of the fact that the division looks to be PISSPOOR now only this year, but for a few more years. I also wouldn't rule out Chicago. 30. Which new head coach has been more impressive: Tony Sporano or Jim Zorn? Jim Zorn... other dude is an mob boss actor. :lmao: 31. Rank your top five players so far this season. Drew Brees, Jay Cutler, Albert Haynesworth, Larry Fitzgerald, Brett Farve 32. Finally, which teams are making it to the Superbowl and who will win? Jaguars & Cowboys... sticking by my pre-season picks
  22. If I were a Patriot's fan, I wouldn't be happy at all with the way the team didn't bring in a vet after Brady went down. There were plenty of names out there, Culpeper, Leftwich, Simms... as well as a few others that i am sure I missed. Again, none of these guys are going to be anywhere CLOSE to Brady, but to tell your team and fans that our the ENTIRE season rests on the shoulders of a guy who has never proven anything in the league is a tough pill to swollow. ... if the injury happened in mid season, I wouldn't feel the same way. However with the injury happening in week one, if I were a fan of the Patriots, I would find it frustrating that the team didn't even try and find a proven vet to back up Cassel.
