  1. WIDE RIGHT! WIDE RIGHT!! WIDE RIGHT!!! I was so pissed that Cleveland was going to blow another victory for Brady Quinn... bastards. Thank god Buffalo couldn't kick a critical field goal to save its life. ... or to win a Superbowl :lmao: soz, I couldn't resist
  2. What is 'strength of victory'? The combined points by which a team has won by in all of their victories? Or the combined victories of the teams that they have defeated? Or something else?
  3. Yay! Lesnar wins. I'm happy, and now know how it must feel to be a Democrat..... >_<
  4. Vince McMahon's evil plan in motion, Brock Lesnar now will show up MONDAY NIGHT on Raw with the UFC title... ...and then drop it to John Cena just to tick off all of the IWC. Muahahahahahaha!
  5. Florian is my pick, hopefully this one will get out of the first round though.
  6. It's 31-27 now... speaking of hallucinating... am I doing that right now, or is Kentucky's QUARTERBACK actually returning kicks and punts? I've never seen that before.
  7. I was wondering the same thing. I don't believe I've ever seen a triple post span half an hour. Ha... ...but yeah, tonight should be fun. It's nights like this when I wish I were single, and could do whatever I want.
  8. LOL @ Steve Superior and all of his GENIUS.... :lmao: ..yes I spelled that wrong on purpose
  9. I think Lesnar will catch Randy off guard, and land a TKO in Round 1, or early in Round 2. Like MPH, I think if there is a later round TKO, it will be Couture after gasping Lesnar, however unlike a lot of people... I am just not ready to concede that Lesnar can't win this fight. In fact, I'm going in the other direction and picking him as the victory.
  10. Typically smallish / softish wide outs struggle in the end zone. I say that, because I can't remember Brandon Stokely or Dallas Clarke catching a lot of TDs in the red zone with the Colts, or even Shaun McDonald and Az Hakim with the Rams back in the day. Most of the time, when teams get down in the red zone, they either run the football more, or look for match ups at the end spots, which typically are taller wide recievers. ...though, typically I hate to see wide outs crash to the turf to aviod a hit. Slot guys I will give a small break too, but when I see guys like Marvin Harrison repeatidly over and over drops to the ground to aviod a hit, I find it aggrivating and showing a lack of toughness. Hines Ward is the same size as Welcher, Harrison, Holt, ect, and not only does he seldom drop to the ground, but he is one of the most aggressive wide outs in the NFL.
  11. Just look at who the Patriots are missing from last year's team either because of injury, retirement, or free agency: Tom Brady, A. Samuels, Rodney Harrison, Junior Seau, A. Thomas, L. Mahoney, and basically the rest of their ENTIRE backfield. Pretty hard/stupid to bang on the guy for being a bad coach when he has three Superbowl rings, and is going to take a team of basic back-ups and get 10 wins out of them.
  12. Role Models 3.5/10 Ugh, I was really disappointed. The first half hour is hilarious, after that the last hour was completely horrid, and just stopped being funny. The most enjoyment I got out of the entire film was then preview of "Fast and the Furious 4" at the begining... too bad it doesn't come out till next summer. I wouldn't recommend anyone watching this even on DVD.

They could have done nothing but have that dad go around slapping people, and the episode would have be great for me. Every single time he slapped someone, I busted a gut.
  14. I would LOVE to see another Bourne sequel, though I've been spoiled with two already. Another movie I would like to see a sequel of is Old School. Don't ask me why we have 17 American Pie movies, and only one Old School.
  15. Ugh, , I LOVE Ray Stevenson's character from Rome, but again... ugh! Why do they have to goofy up THIS film? Seriousness... during a time when they are trying to give everyone including Superman a 'dark side', why take the character that outside of Batman may fit that mold perfectly and goofy him up? I just don't get it.... >_<
  16. I wonder.... What if OU beats Tech? Will they jump Texas despite losing to them earlier in the season convincingly?
  17. at Shaun Hill getting hit in the head, and thinking for a moment that he's Brett Farve.... at Mike Martz running twice up the middle with 20 seconds left in the game and no time outs.... at the fact that I'm a Niner fan, and am the NFL's version of the Cubs. ...at least I have NFL films to remind myself that we didn't ALWAYS suck nuts....
  18. USC is NOT playing in the BSC title game. Not happening. The BSC game looks like it is going to be Big 12 South vs SEC Champ, but the chances are better that we would see Big 12 vs Big 12 in the title game then any USC involvment in the game.
  19. I won't argue with you that those conferences are horrid... possibly slightly worse then the SEC,. However would you consider them to be "over rated"? No one gives them credit for being any good, so my arguement isn't so much that the SEC is worse then those conferences, but that the SEC is over rated because they are considered so much greater then the rest of the pack. To me, outside of the Big 12, every other conference is junk this year. Junk.
  20. Is there no more over rated conference possible of ALL time then the SEC this year? Auburn couldn't score with a fat chick on prom night, Tennessee is so bad they dumped their coach, Georgia gets ROCKED every time they face anyone decent, and LSU is running out Nick Saban's players. The only two teams that look decent are Florida and 'Bama...

Awesome episode. And one of the few episodes I can think off the top of my head that didn't include Cartman other then a break away scene that seemed to be there just to include him in the show. Best Episode of the half season so far.
  22. 1. Megan Fox 2. Mandy Moore 3. Mila Kunis 4. Staci Keibler 5. Amanda Bynes 6. Evangeline Lilly 7. Natalie Portman 8. Angela Jolie 9. Tyra Banks 10. Tina Fay Honorable Mention: Kaley Cuoco, Maryse Ouelette, Rachel Bilson

Anyone else find it odd that on the night that the first black president was elected to office, Comedy Central choose to run the "With All Apologizes to Jesse Jackson" episode? ... yeah, I didn't either. Ha. :lmao:
  24. I would think that Ty Law (if he is still unsigned) would be a more likely signee for New England then DeAngelo Hall. However I don't see the Pats signing either of them. As for Hall...he's a money grabber. So I would guess that he won't care about going to a team like the Cowboys, Saints, Chargers, Pats- in order to make a run at the playoffs. He'll go to whichever team offers him the most money. My guess is someone stupid like the Lions or Cheifs.
  25. Exactly. If you fire a coach one year after he wins your confernce (or in the Vols case, their division since the SEC splits up their confernce), that tells everyone more then likely you wanted the guy gone in the first place. And whether or not you agree with their decision or not, its still theirs to make. However waiting two or three years to fire a coach, just so that you have a 'reason' instead of doing it when you no longer have faith in the man is bullshit. It's not fair to the fans who have to pay for tix-alumni funds-donations, to the coaching staff and families, or the players to whom have been recruited to the program over the past few years when the Athletic Department knew all along that Fulmer wasn't going to be their coach moving forward. I feel bad for Tennessee fans, and hope they don't go the Nebraska route.
