  1. The Niners already have Bruce. They should go after Holt and have the "Oldest Show on TurfGrass"
  2. Byron Leftwich is a back up QB at this point. IMO, he has been one his own career, he was just given the starting job in Jacksonville because of his draft spot. I don't understand why he doesn't stay in Pittsburgh backing up Big Ben. Charlie Batch HAS to retire at some point, right?
  3. But the franchise is MUCH better now that they fired all employees who post bad things about the team on facebook.
  4. I didn't care much for the movie. Basically Michael Bay said "here you go, let me introduce you to these people, only to let Jason butcher them". They spent maybe ten minutes explaining Jason's history, and two seconds explaining the hockey mask. Total junk

Awesome movie. As poster above says, I would have never pictured Nelson for this type of movie, yet he pulled it off PERFECTLY. I give it a solid 8.5 or 9, and would watch it again for sure.
  6. I typically find Eastwood annoying so that wasn't anything new to me. However I agree with you. While I found myself enjoying for the most part the bantering between Eastwood's racist commentary, and the younger/ quick witted Asian girl... I often thought that they went over board in selling his racist thought. I also thought Eastwood's character just evolved too quickly and without any cause for change actually. He basically went from this racist character to this tolerant person in one scene.
  7. I keep seeing him in an Oakland uniform. I could also see him playing for the R'Skins. I'd have a hard time buying Baltimore however based on his past history with them. Denver could be a dark horse ( :lmao: ) if Brandon Marshall is suspended for a long period of time.
  8. See, while I can't deny a single thing you said about TO's character, I ask you this. Name one situation where TO left, and the team improved? San Fran hasn't been to the playoffs since he left, nor have the Eagles made it back to the Superbowl. Again, I'm not saying TO isnt a dick fuck. He is. But he is still a great wideout who commands to be double teamed. Roy Williams struggled last year with single coverage. How am I suppose to believe that with Dakota Fanning, or whatevere junk wide out they are going to throw opposite of him, that Roy Williams is going to re-evlove into this amazing WR. Again, I'm not going to deny TO is a pain in the ass. But twice before the media has told us "the team will be better without TO", and twice before they haven't. I don't forsee any difference with the 'boys either.
  9. Wait... what? Denver was wanting to unload Cutler for Matt Cassell? Why?
  10. I still don't get the Browns trade. Why trade away Quinn's favorite target? I know Winslow is an ass, and he's hurt all the time, but RLY?
  11. Manny has always been a tard... that's part of his charm
  12. That's what I was thinkin. True, Hall will be lucky to see HALF the contract, but still Synder has made much worse moves
  13. Idol, did you pull the orginal game file from your library? I am trying to download it right now, and it keeps telling me that the file is no longer on the server? Edit: Nevermind, on the third try the download went through.
  14. Marvin Harrison was completely useless all of last year. He just looked old, and for the last half of the year, I thought the Colts would have been better served to play the guy they drafted from Ohio State a few years back.
  15. Taken 8.5/10 Orginally I wasn't sold on Liam Nesson as the right person for this type of movie based on the trailers. I envisioned someone more 'bad ass' (for the lack of better term) would be needed to fill this role, however Nesson fit the role PERFECTLY. An action movie with enough storyline to keep you interested, yet not just one fight scene after another. I wouldn't put it against any Bourne Film, but it was a nice way to spend a Saturday Afternoon. I probably won't be adding it to my DVD collection, but I would watch it again for sure.
  16. Speaking of "maybe shoulda gone with another option", I'm not sold on Haley as the new KC coach. Not that I think anyone could have been successful over the past few years with the Moutian West calibur football team the GM of KC put on the field and asked Herm Edwards to coach.
  17. I loved the Harvey Dent/Two Face character, so if they would bring him back I would be happy. However I don't see him returning for the next movie. From everything I have read, the next duo villians for Batman will be the Riddler(Johnny Deep) and Catman(Angelia). If Dent were to return, I think it would be a cameo, like what we saw in TDK with Scarecrow, with it being a possible tease it for Batman 4. Even at that, I believe the chances are higher you will see someone else return as the Joker, before Harvey Dent returns. ... However Nolan has done an amazing job with the first two, so whatever he does I am sure will be epic.
  18. The Spirit: 5/10... the movie was a little too goofy for my taste, but I enjoyed watching Samuel L Jackson playing an odd character, along with Eva Mendez.... well just walking around being hot. It wasn't nearly as bad as what I had envisioned, but would rather be raped then watch it again. Unborn: 8/10... I liked the movie a lot. It had a few holes in it, and could have used a much better ending, but I found myself able to follow the story and despite having no actors of talent, the acting wasn't half bad. I will defiently be picking up the movie when it comes out on DVD. Bloody Valentine 3D: (4/10).... I gave it a point or two, simply because when i went to see the movie, I was with a couple of annoying girls who made the movie experience ten times worse. And the 3D concept sucked until the final scenes when the flames shoot out over the crowd. Other then that, it was like watching 'I Know What You Did Last Summer" in 3D with even worse actors. Without question I won't be seeing it again.... though I am sure I will again in a few years, only under a different name with a slight storyline alteration. *cries* Defience: 9/10.... an awesome movie. Personally, I thought the movie could have been done a half hour less, but Daniel Craig was awesome, as was his brother whom I do not know the name of off the top of my head. It wasn't nearly as action filled as i thought, but the acting made up for it. I will be seeing this at least one more time.
  19. Not exactly the type of review i was hoping to read when I was told I had to go watch this movie tonight.
  20. To comment on a topic a few pages back, I have wanted to see Crabtree in a Niner uniform all season, but I don't see how he is going to drop that far. As mentioned the Raiders love popular skill position players, and I can see him more-so in a Matt Linhert-Steven Jackson role, where we finds his way onto a team inside the NFC West (probably the Sea'Hawks) and torment me for years to come. Edit: I know Linhert hasn't done all that well yet, but it still pains me to see him riding the pine in 'Zona when he SHOULD been in a Niner uniform... instead of Alex Smith.
  21. Championship Week! Jesus Christ I hope I don't lose to some smuck who isn't active.
  22. The call was tough, but the Ravens had other chances to win. Flacco just didn't make enough plays, where as Big Ben made the plays when he had too... who ya know probably should be getting WAY more MVP love then he is getting at the moment. I can't believe the NFL is going to give the MVP award to the man who leads the league in interceptions. Bonkers.
  23. I'm surprised Chase didn't blow a nut. How do the fans put Jay Cutler over Big Ben? I love me some Cutler, but seriously. Big Ben put the Steelers on his shoulders offensively, and carried his team to the second or third seed in the AFC with the toughest schedule in the league. Cutler wouldn't even be in the playoffs if he played in any other division. Also, hasn't Bob Sanders been out like half the year? Did I confuse him with someone else, or has he not missed a bunch of games.
  24. Bradford Wins the Heisman. I guess from this point forward the Heisman goes to the person who scores the most touchdowns on a team in a major conference.... oh well. At least, with Tebow not winning, we know that next year's winner won't be pre-determined. Oh well, good for Sam Bradford. Oh yeah... war on Billy Simms yelling BOOMER during Bradford's speech. Fuck that dude.
