  1. I agree with Naiwf. I can't get behind Stafford. I don't like the fact that he couldn't win anything with Georgia...but then again, one can argue neither did Peyton Manning.

  3. 1. Detroit Lions - Matthew Stafford - QB - Georgia. Personally, I wouldn’t take Stafford. I wouldn’t take any QB #1 unless I’m sold that he is going to be the future of my team. Plus I’ve never liked the idea of taking a quarterback when you have so many other pressing needs…most notably on the offense line. However the Lions have backed themselves into a corner where they just about HAVE to take Stafford, and hope he becomes the face of the franchise. They are hoping for another Matt Ryan. I’m predicting another Alex Smith. 2. St. Louis Rams - Jason Smith - OT - Baylor. Best tackle in the draft for a team that needs help on the offensive line. After picking second last year, maybe the Rams will follow the Dolphin’s blue print of getting out of the top five in the draft….build up your offensive line, and maybe then your 60 million dollar quarterback won’t suck. 3. Kansas City Chiefs - Aaron Curry - LB - Wake Forest. Versitile player that would fit perfectly in New England…which means he will fit in KC’s plans. Lets hope he isn’t another over rated bust like Glen Dorsey. The poor people in KC need a break. 4. Seattle Seahawks - Mark Sanchez - QB - USC If this goes down with Sanchez going to Seattle, this could be the best player in the draft down the road. Lets face it, Seattle doesn’t pick this high too often, so they aren’t going to get a lot of chances to pick what could be the face of the franchise in three or four years. 5. Cleveland Browns – Eugene Monroe - OT – Virginia With Stallworth and Winslow out the door, and Braylon Edwards on the trading block, the Browns may be tempted to go for Crabtree. However with Man-Genius history of drafting linemen…I went with the best player on the board, 6. Cincinnati Bengals - Michael Crabtree - WR - Texas Tech With Houza playing ball in Seattle, and Ocho Cino wanting to be moved again….the Bengals need a player at wideout desperately. 7. Oakland Raiders – Andre Smith - OT - Alabama Um…. Yeah, Oakland has a history of drafting “questionable characters” and offensive linemen. He seems to be a perfect fit. I actually like this pick up, and could help protect JaMarcus Russell and Darren McFadden. 8. Jacksonville Jaguars - BJ Raji - DT - Boston College I just don’t see the Jags going WR again. Del Rio could, but I think they are going to want to go after a combo DT like they had a few years ago. 9. Green Bay Packers - Aaron Maybin - LB - PSU Green Bay loves grabbing Big Ten linebackers….Maybe this is where someone who needs a tackle could jump up. 10. San Francisco 49ers - Brian Orakpo - DE/LB - Texas The Niners actually have a solid defense….just not a great one. As a fan, I personally would like for them to go after Macklin or another play maker of that sorts….however every single mock draft I’ve seen shows Orakpo going here, so I will follow the trend. 11. Buffalo Bills - Michael Oher - T - Ole Miss The Bills need a tackle….I wonder though. Why pay a tackle first round money, when you wouldn’t pay the same amount of money to the pro bowl tackle you traded away. 12. Denver Broncos – Tyson Jackson - DE – LSU I typically wound stay far away from LSU players, but everyone is high on him, and he seems to fit the versitle style that fits a New England style player. 13. Wash Redskins - Jeremy Maclin - WR - Mizzou Daniel Synder LOVES the big name….Macklin is about the last big name out there. If Macklin is off the board, I wouldn’t rule out Josh Freeman here. 14. New Orleans Saints - Chris "Beanie" Wells - RB - Ohio State The Bayou said Bye Bye to Deuce….and they need a RB that can actually do more then return punts. 15. Houston Texans - Clay Matthews - LB - USC 16. San Diego Chargers - Rey Mauluga - LB - USC 17. New York Jets - Knowshon Moreno - RB - Georgia 18. Denver Broncos – Josh Freeman - QB - KSU You do not build a team around Kyle Orton…especially if you want to be a passing team. My guess is that McDaniels’ wants to prove he can build the next Brady/Cassell. 19. Tampa Bay Buccanneers - Vontae Davis - CB – Illinois 20. Detroit Lions – - Robert Ayers - DE - Tennessee I originally pened Pettigrew in for this pick, however at the last moment I switched to Ayers simple because Swartz may want to begin to build a front seven….now he just needs the other six people, 21. Philadelphia Eagles Everette Brown - LB - FSU Tempted to go Britton, but if Brown is still o the board….Philly will nab him. 22. Minnesota Vikings - Darius Butler - CB - Connecticut 23. New England Patriots Malcolm Jenkins - CB/S - Ohio State 24. Atlanta Falcons - - Brandon Pettigrew - TE - Oklahoma State Tempted to say Harvin….but went with the tight end. 25. Miami Dolphins – Peria Jerry - DT - Mississippi 26. Baltimore Ravens – Alphonso Smith - CB - Wake Forest 27. Indianapolis Colts - Eben Britton - OT – Arizona 28. Buffalo Bills - Alex Mack - C - Cal 29. New York Giants - Kenny Britt - WR - Rutgers 30. Tennessee Titans – Percy Harvin - WR/RB - Florida Chris Johnson was their best pick last year….lets see if they will give Collins/Young another weapon to work with, or if they will try and replace Haynesworth. 31. Arizona Cardinals - Sean Smith - CB/S - Utah 32. Pittsburgh Steelers - Larry English - DE - Northern Illinois
  4. The West is wide out with LA, who have a tough road with Utah, then Houston, and either New Orleans or Denver.....and :lmao: @ Ray Allen's bitch ass losing to the Bulls.
  5. I agree. If someone is drafting Beanie Wells to be an every down back they are going to be disappointed. However how many "every down backs" are there in the NFL? Maybe five? Everyone using a combo backfield, and if he goes to Philly, he won't even be the starting back. He will just be there to take the load off of Westbrook, and give them someone big in the red zone. ...I think he would make a nice combo in New Orleans too, for the Saints. Reggie Bush isn't a bust, but isn't anywhere near the "revolutionarly running back" ESPN built him up to be. In fact, he isn't even an every down back. While the Saints throw the ball first, Beanie Wells could be to them what Duece McAlister was the year before last with them.

    South Park

I didn't mind the episode. I typically don't care a lot for episodes where Randy is the main character....and this fell in line with most of the rest where he is the main character. I didn't absoluetly hate it, but didn't really go over board in liking it either. It was just kinda there. They should could have used a suttle secondary storyline, possibly with Cartman or Butters.
  7. Fast & Furious 8.5/10.... FINALLY the series gets back to what it should be, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker. Obviously, not as good as the first, but very close for what it's worth. 12 Rounds 7.5/10.... This movie is TEN times better then the Marine, which isn't saying much really. Miles Austin MADE this movie for me, and I was surprised that at how much I liked the movie when I left. I may have rated it higher, but after watching Fast & Furious the night before, I just couldn't. Jurrassic Park III 8/10...EASILY my favorite Jurrassic Park yet. I never watched it before due to my total distaste for the sequel, but I was blown away at how much I not only enjoyed the movie, but I found myself by the end actually enjoying the movie more then the first. I almost wish they would make another one...if only they promised to follow this format instead of the stupid "OMG Dino goes to San Diego, WHAT WE GONNA DO?!?!?!"

Funny... Kanye's "Gay Fish" may be my second favorite South Park song ever....nothing tops Butter's "What What" song though.
  9. Maxx is right, I believe. Carson Palmer sat out his entire year, didn't he?
  10. Colin Cowherd is a complete idiot. I will always hate him for remarks he made about Eddie Guerrero the morning after he passed away....bastard.
  11. I can’t understand this trade at all. Why would the Bears trade for Cutler? Sure he is a talented QB, ranking in the top ten of QB’s somewhere between 5 and 10. But Chicago doesn’t need that style of QB. Kyle Orton was the perfect fit for them. They have a strong defensive, and Forte arrived last year as their running game. While Cutler is obviously a better QB, the passing game isn’t as important to a team like Chicago who builds its team around defense and a running game. I don’t understand why a team would pay so much for a player that doesn’t fit into their system. Future more, I don’t understand at all how people and ESPN analyst can say with a straight face that “Denver is better” after this trade. REALLY? Their defense is one of the worst in the league, and as DMN pointed out, their running game and run blocking is no where near as good as it was during Shannon’s glory years. The only thing Denver had going for it last year was a group of talented WRs, lead by a talented gunslinger. I don’t understand how you take the only good piece of your team, weaken it…and somehow make yourself better. …if anything Denver is worse off now then before; with Cutler I thought the team had a chance to get to 7 or 8 wins. After the trade, I struggle to see how they are going to muster more then 4 or 5 wins. On the flip side Chicago is probably only about the same. With their aging defense, I still wouldn’t put them above Green Bay or Minnesota. So again, I don’t understand this trade. Chicago isn’t any better and Denver worse.

Complete fail. I laughed only a couple of times...and I think Butter's was apart of every one of the funny moments.

    South Park

Not a horrible show, but far from the best. I had no interest in the Stan plot at all, though the plot with Kyle & Randy developed into being entertaining. Preachy, but funny at times.
  14. Anything is better then those horrid 'throw back' jerseys they seem to wear as much as their current day jerseys. Also.... is there any suttle message the marketing people are trying to send by debuting their 'brand new' logo on a MOVING TRUCK?!?!?!
  15. I really wish the NFL would adopt a rule that says no stupid ass divisional games in the first two weeks. Though that would require the league to be pro-active instead of reactive, which aggravates me more then any rule change….which I am actually glad they extended the "defenseless player rule "to include wide outs to the degree they do QBs. I guess all it took some talentless smuck nearly killing A. Bodin to make it happen….which is the way the NFL works, right? It took Carson Palmer & Tom Brady’s knees being caved in before the NFL would say…hey defense, no torpedoing yourself off the ground into the knee of a QB.
  16. I agree. McCoy is a great college QB, but that doesn't translate to the pros. In fact, I don't see any of the QBs in the Big 12 doing anything...including Bradford. Jason White put up Madden-esque numbers while he was playing too for OU, and never amounted to anything in the pros. Why is it that if QBs put up crazy numbers at Hawaii, BYU, or Texas Tech, they are labeled as "system QBs", but OU some how misses out on that label despite now three straight QBs (Hybl, White, Bradford) putting up crash numbers in their offensive system (the same system that now more then half the Big 12 runs).
  17. Still haven't lost a Sweet 16 team, so all is well. Also, nice job Pitt just about losing to East....Tennessee....State.....Community College, or something along those lines.
  18. Soz for double post but it is being reported UConn Head Coach Jim Cahollun will miss the game tonight when his team pays its 1st Round game. No word yet on why other then "Coach was feeling ill". However with his documented battle with cancer, I hope this is just an illness, and nothing more serious.
  19. Bastard copied my bracket! I demand a congressional hearing!

I liked the show. It wasn't the best, or the worst. Somewhere right in the middle, which is ok.
  21. I still think Tim Tebow will go in the first round, and have no doubt that he will go in the first day. I base this off the fact that if you look at past examples over the last few years of "big" quarterbacks that are playmakers like him, they all go on the first day. Hindes Ward was picked in the third round, A Randell El & Kordell Stewart the second round, Matt Jones the first round (WTF were they thinkin btw?).... ....true smaller QBs like Pat White, Brad Smith, Dennis Dixon, they may be taken later, but considering Tebow's size, added on top of all of his success in college, I don't see how he won't be a first or second round pick. That's not to say I believe he will do well in the pros (I personally think a lot of that will have to do with who selects him) but I have little doubt that he will be taken in the first or second round.
  22. Soz if this isn't the right spot for this, but what happened to Tito Ortiz? Wasn't he apart of NWA:Mexico City before? If so, how come he was left out of this scenerio?

Greedy Mickey Boss owns everything. I seriously laughed as hard over that character as I have over any character possibly ever, outside the main four and Butters of course. I also got a chuckle over Matt using the same voice for the Pharm Doc who sold Kenny condoms as he used for the main guy from Imaginationland. Good stuff.
  24. I dunno. I agree with Poke.... EVERYONE in the league wants to come catch passes from the Notorious T-Jack. Duh! Who wouldn't?
