  1. Miami has to/will do something major to keep LeBron relevant for the next five years. I love Wade but he is aging faster than Robin Williams in that one (of many) terrible movie he made, Jack. With that said, I don't see the big three taking HUGE paycuts. I mean they have reminded everyone for years about the fact they took pay cuts to come together and it was only a matter of a few million dollars. You are talking about tens of millions for this paycut. I just don't see them leaving that much money on the table. Miami will do something to make themselves relevant... I just don't think Melo is the answer.
  2. I really enjoyed the episode. I still don't know how I feel about the ending but regardless, a well put together show. Jon Snow grew up literally in front of your very eyes. One question though...
  3. I read the article and have seen that quote from her before. However I always took her statement as referring to her mob attack scene in season 2/3 when the Hound saved her at the very last?
  4. I am anything but a Pacer's fan. In fact, the chesty bravado of the team (who has never accomplished anything) has caused me to dislike them to a certain degree. With that said, I wouldn't bury the Pacers just yet. Paul George is still developing as a player (and he is already a top ten player). Yes, they are far from perfect but they do have a very good, young core moving foward. Plus, the East is horrific. If Toronto could finish third and Chicago fifth(?) with Noah as their centerpiece... I think the Pacers could easily contend for at the very least a spot in the Eastern Finals over the next few years. Plus, what happened to the OKC Thunder theory of a young team has to "suffer" before breaking the ceiling? To be completely honest, this year was the first the Pacers were considered an elite team. Maybe they had to go through a season like this to learn how to play with pressure? ....or was that theory just ESPN fodder for "don't blame Kevin Durant for failing, so here is an excuse for why he failed". I don't know. Like I said, I am not a big Pacers fan but I wouldn't bury them just yet.
  5. I was thinking that the new Minnesota stadium was going to be outdoors. I guess I misremembered and was wrong. For what it's worth, the stadium (concept I know) looks nice. Good for them, I guess
  6. Just read that the 2018 (Superbowl LII) will be in Minneapolis? Really? I mean good for the fans of Minnesota (insert joke here about the Vikings finally getting to see a Superbowl) but didn't we just hear about how the last Superbowl was going to be ruined because it was in a cold weather climate? Or am I mistaken and it is 70 degrees, sunny typically during February in Minneapolis?
  7. Caught the Neighbors last night and enjoyed it more than I figured too going into the movie. Zach Efron & Seth Rogen has pretty good chemistry in the movie. I actually wish they had more screen time together to be honest but the inclusion of McLovin made me happiest of anything in the movie.
  8. "Usual BS story inherited allot of money from my estranged great grandpa from ireland who was a lord of leprechauns or something so I decided to open a wrestling company"... my new favorite backstory to a dome project EVER!

  9. Nolan tried to attempt too much in TDKR. In reality, the Bane storyline truly needed to be stretched over two films to give the story & characters justice. Plus the idea with Tate thing didn't pay off as well because she was only a mirror character. They were able to develop the Selina Kyle character well enough but I thought it was at the expense of the Bane/Tate storyline as well as the takeover of the city. I think you could have very easily split the movie up into two parts, breaking it up after the back break scene. The second movie could have been used to expand the struggle within Gotham during the takeover. If you think about it, BB & TDK really are simplistic movies as far as storylines are concerned. Well executed in my opinion, the movies were never overly crowded. TDKR struggled with trying to juggle too many things and ended up, only really focusing on Batman/Catwoman. TDKR was still a good movie in my opinion... just not in the same fashion as BB or TDK Also, I agree with the previous statement. They should have let Bruce Wayne die in the bomb explosion. The ending with Robin was enough to give the movie a "everything will be alright" ending but still telling the story that Bruce Wayne's story was never suppose to have a happy ending.
  10. Kap is going to put up insane fantasy numbers if he can stay healthy
  11. As a Niner's fan, I am happy with the schedule. Bowman should be back in time for both games with the Seachickens and I am loving the fact one of the games is on Turkey Day. As Livid said, the ratings for that game will be insane. And Dallas having to play 5 of their last 7 on the road? Sucks for Romo...
  12. Well Mr Kaep can kiss most (if not all) of those endorsements good bye. Guilty or not, his national endorsement career is more than likely tarnished forever. Though I can't feel too sorry for him... he is about to cash in on a 100 million dollar contract. I think he will be fine, so will the Niners. Big Ben's deal was 1,000x worse and they managed just fine. Also, how long will be until Richard Sherman posts something about this?
  13. It is Wrestlemania Sunday and I am going to DVR it to watch HBO's Game of Thrones.... Just realized my interest in wrestling is at an all time low =(

  14. Dear D-Wade, Thank you for showing up to the NBA Finals last night. Game 1,2,3 sends their regards and wishes you could have made it to their game too...

  15. Could I get this cut by someone who knows what they are doing (meaning, anyone but me) thanks!
  16. After taking a look at the schedule, I am thinking San Fran could be battling for a wildcard next year. The Niners have a terrible last month of the schedule stretch (which is the most important time of the year). Then I took a look at Seattle's schedule and realize the road is much easier for their main competiton. The Niners last four games are against the Seachickens, a cross country trip which is always a mess (luckily it's just against the Buccs), the Falcons (aka the best regular season team in the NFC), and then against Arizona (who I think is going to be the surprise team of the NFL next year). Then to make matters worse, the begining of the schedule doesn't look too promising either with a game against Mr Rodgers and then a trip up to Seattle. Ugh,my Niners could start off the season 0-2 quite realisticly and I believe with the way the schedule is shaping up that the week 17 match up with Arizona could be for a wildcard spot.
  17. Thoughts w/ Boston..... #EndHate

  18. I love watching these "NCAA Bracket" shows. They pick nearly upset available....and in 48 hours will be telling us why these upsets "could have NEVER" happened

  19. Lets go Longhorns....oh wait, Should be a fun couple of days, though I do not see the amount of upsets that a lot of people are predicting. Would be happy to see such a thing don't get me wrong, I would be thrilled to see a ton of upsets but I just don't see "a trainwreck tournament" happening in a day when the tournament committee has more information on every team and has the ability to watch more games then ever before in history. I expect to see a couple upsets but not any more then normal.
  20. I seriously doubt Nnamdi Asomugha ends up with San Fran. From what I am reading, the Niners do not want to pay Charles Woodson. I would imagine Nnamdi's salary would be double that of Woodson's. I know cornerbacks are worth more but I still don't see the penny-savy Sana Clara bunch making it rain for Asomugha.
  21. http://espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/story/_/id/9022182/san-francisco-49ers-serious-suitor-darrelle-revis-source Looks like Revis Island will not be in San Fran next year. I can't say I am surprised, the front office in San Fran has become almost New England West over the past few years when they deal with paying players through free agency or even retaining their own players. Revis is a top end corner but he will be paid like a top five defensive player and the Niners tend to look for free agents that will come cheaply in recent years. ...that being said, I wish it would happen one way or another. Having Revis and Sherman in the same division would be gold for a year or two with all the twitter fodder that has went on between the two in recent months.
  22. More like FSU needs to boost up their strength of schedule since they are the only ones in that conference that have a shot at being a top 10 program over the next two or three years.
  23. I have a question about Madden13 game play, more so about the franchise play. Typically I do not buy Madden each year when it comes. I buy a new copy every couple of years or so. One of my favorite things about Madden08/09 was the franchise option. It allowed you to change ownership of teams in the middle of a franchise. So I could start a franchise and build one franchise into a power. Then in the middle of the franchise change teams and build up another team. When I upgraded to Madden11, I loved the improved in-game play but was disappointed that they altered the franchise game play to disallow you to switch teams in the middle of the franchise. Is this still the way things are with Madden13? Can you change teams you control in the middle of a franchise or can you only use the teams you select at the begining of the game?
  24. Kiffin isn't a bad defensive cordinator. In fact, I think he is one of the better ones around. Forget what happened at USC, he will walk in and instantly make the defense of the Dallas Cowboys better in my opinion. That doesn't mean the Cowboys will be in any diffrent position this time next year as long as Romo is their quarterback though. >_<
  25. i don't undertand Carolina or Texas AM over teams like Oregon, Georgia, Florida and I certianly can't understand the logic of putting the Aggies ahead of a team like Stanford. Johnny Football and D-Clowney are fun to watch play but I still don't believe they will play on as good of a team next year as they one they played on this year.
