  1. Agree with pretty much all of this... I think the bolded is a big part of the issue with a lot of in-game loyalty relationships that probably shouldn't be in the game. IIRC, the guide says something to the effect of "A trainer/student is an example of a loyalty relationship." Using that, I think a lot of times, people see that two people are student/trainer, that automatically means loyalty. Just to use some "real world" logic here: If I pay a wrestler $500 to train me, that doesn't mean that he's gonna be happy or upset if I get hired or fired somewhere. In some cases, that relationship might be formed in that context, but certainly not all the time. Here's a post recently that, IMO, highlights some of the "overkill" regarding relationships in the game. whoever posted this, I'm not picking on you, it's just one that I noticed recently to use as an example: Now, this was used as a reason to give Mark Henry and Jim Cornette a friendship. But, I just don't see Jim Cornette getting upset if WWE were to fire Mark Henry tomorrow, or vice versa, if Cornette were employed by WWE (or any promotion that they might be together in). I see that as Cornette really just doing his job while at OVW. Another thing to keep in mind: Some relationships don't necessarily go both ways. For example, a wrestler that was trained by Bret Hart might think the world of him and be very upset if Bret were released from a promotion, whereas Hart might just be a little upset, or not upset at all if one of his many students over the years gets released. Relationships in EWR can be tough to determine what fits and what doesn't between two workers, because IRL, not every relationship is a two way street. Dislike and hate could work the same way... One guy hates the other, while the other guy really has no beef with the first person. One ingame relationship is a hate between Kenn Doane and John Cena, but from what I've read, 99.9% of that is Doane hating Cena, as I don't recall Cena saying anything regarding Doane one way or another. Just some other stuff to think about while going through relationships. -Bill
  2. Wanted to reply to some posts and throw some things out there, since we're getting close to the end of the month: From what I've read, Icarus was there last night, with about 20 people, handed out some shirts in exchange for the fans signing on to an email "petition" of some sort. At this stage, I dunno if I'll have time to remove Chikara in time for August, but I'm guessing that they're going to be inactive for at least a protracted period of time. At this point, to be honest, I'm struggling to find a good reason to keep them in the data, given what we know. As I said before, even if they DO return, chances are it will have a different roster, along with possible other differences, which could then be addressed in re-adding the promotion to the game... It's not like we don't have any empty slots to put them back in when and if they get going again. Don't see why a staff member praising a worker would warrant a friendship... If, for example, Jim Ross praised Dean Ambrose, would that make them friends...? I'll probably just cut new pics for the two of them then for the August Update. Thanks for the heads up, though. Well, my updates are based on real life and from what I understand, that title is no longer part of CWFH... You could simply add it to your promotion at the start of your game... Wouldn't even need to buy a promotion out to get it! I'd be willing to hear other's opinions on this, but I personally don't see Langston as a Manager for AJ. My guess would be, Langston will have his own feud (possibly with Ziggler) with AJ as his "manager," as it is in the game currently. Aj has been removed as Ziggler's manager, though. I could even see a case for both AJ and Langston to just be workers (meaning neither of them is a "manager"). Just have a hard time seeing it the other way, but again, anyone can feel free to comment on this one. I've said multiple times that, if people feel that there are relationships in the game that they don't feel reflect the in-game results correctly (such as a loyalty between two people, when neither of those two would quit a job for the other) please bring them up and we can certainly remove them. But, on the other side of that, I feel that relationships should be added when the result of the in-game mechanics warrant it. In other words, I don't want to NOT add a relationship that should be in the game, just because "the relationships file is too big." On the surface, I completely agree with you... There most likely ARE relationships in the game that don't need to be in, as having those relationships in the game affects the game in a non-realistic way. The problem is, nobody has gone through and said "Here are the relationships that I don't feel should be in the game for these reasons... Let's discuss them." I don't want to just go through and remove relationships because of my opinion, I want to remove the ones that really don't belong (meaning that they result in an in-game effect that isn't realistic). A relationship that I removed (because someone suggested it) was the Mr. McMahon/Ultimate Warrior relationship. Due to Warrior being in the WWE2K14 game and especially since Warrior was interviewed by WWE.com and McMahon personally welcomed Warrior back on Twitter, I don't feel that McMahon and Warrior would not want to work with each other in the same promotion. IMO, these are the kinds of relationships that should be removed. Another one that I removed, IIRC, was Jericho and RVD... I don't remember if it was a dislike or hate, but it was a negative relationship that would have affected their work together in EWR, due to that relationship. With them having a great match on RAW (and Jericho acknowledging that) there is no reason to have a relationship in the game that could potentially mess up their in-game work together. Hopefully, this all makes sense. In short, I'm all for removing relationships in the game that shouldn't be there. But, I want to make sure we remove the RIGHT relationships and remove them because they shouldn't be there, not just because the "file is too full already." Other Notes: FIP is pretty much in now, I believe... Just need to get them a logo and banner, I think. Couple really quick notes: Pretty sure that's true, as it seems as if Konley is face in DG-EVO now as well. He and Scott Reed faced off at a DGUSA event in April. Royalty gimmick must be Tweener or Heel - I have him as Comedy Character, as he is in Chikara Jessicka Havok is already in three promotions, so I'm holding off on adding her to FIP The next promotion I'm wanting to add is Family Wrestling Entertainment (FWE), but I dunno if that'll happen in time for the August update, as I still have no idea on what their promotion Size, Money, Image, Risk, Production, Advertising and Merchandising should be. I have little more than a roster for them. I don't even have suggestions for the images (Prestige, not pics) of the belts. Without this info, I'd be taking a lot of shots in the dark as to what to give them. Finally, as I said before, I'm seriously considering combining CZW and WSU, similar to how Shimmer/Shine, DGUSA/EVOLVE and PWS/BLOW are combined, basically making WSU a roster split of CZW. Reason being, every event that WSU has promoted since new ownership took over has been a co-promotion with CZW. This would also free up another slot for a potential new promotion and be able to work a few workers into promotions that they should be in, but currently can't be, due to being in three promotions already. If anyone has an objection to this, I'll listen, but to be honest, the fact that they have been co-promoting makes it hard for me to see a good reason on why they shouldn't be combined. This probably won't happen until September, but unless I get a really good reason as to why they shouldn't be combined, chances are, they will be, as again, I can't see a good reason not to. Think that's all I got... Sorry for the novel. -Bill
  3. Wanted to make a few other quick comments regarding adding promotions. After FIP, the next promotion that I'm thinking about adding is Family Wrestling entertainment (FWE). However, I still need info on FWE, such as Size, Money, Image, Risk, Production, Advertising, Merchandising. Also having card positions and gimmicks for the roster that was posted beforehand would be helpful, but could probably make due without them, just using what info the workers already have. Having any event names and sizes would help as well. One question regarding FWE: The HOH Roster that was posted... Should that be a roster split then? A few workers do have 3 promotions already and a couple workers I'm assuming aren't in the game (aside from the ones that were listed as not in the game) but I'm thinking with this info I've listed, we could get it added this month. After FIP and FWE, Anarchy Championship Wrestling, Absolute Intense Wrestling and Resistance Pro Wrestling are probably the next three that have been mentioned that I'd be looking into adding. All three would need a significant amount of work in order to get them in this month, though. PRIME Wrestling and Metro Pro Wrestling are probably last on the list and the least likely to be added, simply due to a lack of info. With WSU now pretty much always teaming up with CZW to co-promote events, the option might be there to merge those two promotions into one (as we have done with Shimmer /Shine and DGUSA/EVOLVE) which would free up another promotion slot for a promotion that isn't always co-promoting. Just a thought to throw out there. dunno what everyone thinks of it. -Bill
  4. FWIW, I'm in the process of adding FIP to the data as I type. Pretty much all workers have been added at this point. I'll make adjustments as suggested above, but had a couple questions as well. They just had an event "Declaration Of Independence". Some of the workers that were at that event were not listed in the roster. They are: Earl Cooter (Don't think he's in the game), Mr. Milo Beasley, Jessicka Havok Main question is, should Beasley and Havok be added to the roster as well, or were these one time deals? Shane Strickland is currently in three promotions already: CZW, IWC and WXW-C4. He's still on the roster on the CZW website, but didn't see him on the IWC or WXW-C4 sites... I'll do a bit more research to see which promotion he should be removed from of these two in order to put him in FIP, as he was at the most recent FIP event. Finally, I currently have Larry Dallas in FIP as the manager for Scott Reed and Caleb Konley, as he is in DG-EVO. Is this correct or not? I see that you're currently editing your post, so I'll hold off on anything further until Midnight EST, or if you post again beforehand, letting me know that you're done editing. -Bill
  5. Quick note about editing posts... If you make a post, if a significant amount of time has gone by (say, an hour or so) you're usually better off making a new post mentioning any changes. Reason being, I check these forums almost daily and that's how I create my lists of things to ad, edit, change, etc... If you make a post, then I copy your post and then you go back and edit it, chances are, I won't notice any edits made, as I'll be looking to add posts that I haven't added yet, not going back and re-reading the ones I already copied. I realize that this sometimes creates "double posts" but, sometimes these threads get 10 or so pages long and I'm not gonna go back to see if anyone edited a post from a few days ago or anything. The last time I copied notes from this thread was post 30, so anything after that (which means, on this page) is fine... Just please don't add anymore to those posts now, because chances are, I won't notice it. Thanks! -Bill
  6. I have no idea what you mean by "the insert." If you're referring to the "-" between the "D" and "Bomb," that's how it is pretty much everywhere that I've researched her. There's a long space after her name and I was just assuming it was probably from just accidentally hitting the insert button on your keyboard. Still didn't see any evidence of this... But, I deleted and re-entered her name, so hopefully that solves whatever issue you were having... Anyone else know anything about this? While Main Event is taped on Tuesdays, it airs on Wednesdays, the same way SmackDown is taped on Tuesdays, but airs on Fridays. The TV shows reflect when they air on the network, not when they were taped. Other notes: Current plan is to go over the notes regarding some suggested promotions tomorrow and hopefully get an idea on who to try and add within the next 48 hours or so. Currently, the list is at 7 possibilities. The more info I have on them, the better. Here's what I have currently: Resistance Pro Wrestling: I have some info, but it's pretty old, so I don't know how outdated the info I have is. PRIME Wrestling: Just a little note stating that they should be comparable to the old HWA promotion. Anarchy Championship Wrestling: More info than the previous two, but again, some could be outdated. Absolute Intense Wrestling: Not a lot of info currently, but a few different posters have suggested it. Full Impact Pro: Pretty good on info and pretty sure it's relatively recent. IIRC, info was just given last month. Family Wrestling Entertainment: Again, good on info and relatively recent as well. My main question is, are all of the "big names" on the roster there frequently, or is it just a mishmash roster with a bunch of one-off appearances? Metro Pro Wrestling: No info at all, just a recent recommendation. Again, there are currently 29 promotions in the game. after doing some research, I will be removing Chikara from the game this month, as there seems to be no set date on when (or if) they will return. The hiatus certainly seems to be long enough that, if they do resurface, the promotion and roster could look completely different than what is in the game now anyway. I'll also be removing Los Ice Creams from the game as well, since they really were just other workers from Chikara that wore the costumes. That will leave us with 28 promotions, meaning 6 promotion slots will be open (I always leave one empty for BTG). Now, not saying 6 promotions will be added this month (in fact, I can pretty much bet 6 won't be added) but that we do have the room for them as the months go by. Again, I'm planning on researching the 7 promotions above and within the next 48 hours or so, posting about what I do (and don't) like about each promotions' chances of being added. If a promotion that seems easy to work with and we have current and complete info on it, chances are, it'll be closer to the top of the list to add. -Bill
  7. Wanted to comment on a few posts: According to Cagematch, Stamper is Nate Stein: http://www.cagematch.net/?id=2&nr=9557 I've added this Alter Ego for him. If he's not a part of CZW (Don't see him on their website), I'll remove him as well Most of the time, I only adjust what is suggested... I might tweak a worker if I'm already working on them, but chances are, the reason Edge hasn't been worked on is simply because nobody has suggested any changes until now. I have no idea what you mean by "the insert." If you're referring to the "-" between the "D" and "Bomb," that's how it is pretty much everywhere that I've researched her. They have been in the past, but aren't currently... I believe the remnants are still in as Squared Circle Wrestling (SCW). To be honest, I'm not really happy with how that promotion is laid out anyway, so if there is a way we can improve on it, I'm all for it. Believe it or not, I took a lot into account when overhauling the sponsors. Most of the "like sponsors" are close together in morality and payouts (For example, Taco Bell, McDonald's and Burger King are all pretty comparable). Making sure that every promotion could be represented by their "real" sponsors would be tough to do across the board, especially since some promotions switch sponsors frequently. I'll see what I can do on this one, simply because you asked and I wanted to mess with the sponsors a little anyway, but I'm not going to be doing it so that every promotion can be lined up with every sponsor. The file as-is took me a week to lay out, so I don't want to spend a lot of time on something that really isn't "broken" when there are things that need added, adjusted, etc. In short, I'll see what I can do, but don't expect me to switch sponsors around to match their promotions too often. Think that's all I got for now. -Bill
  8. Also, before I forget, I wanted to make some notes on some posts from last month: She's still employed by WWE, but not as a on-air personality... However, she did appear in the segment when Brock Lesnar destroyed Triple H's office. I've read that this is a storyline and I've also read that they are legit done. I just don't want to remove them until we are 100% sure that they're done... It'd be a pain and a waste of time to have to add them back in. -Bill
  9. I plan to take the next few days and work on some things that'll make updating easier on my end (nothing that anyone playing would notice, just working on some notes, etc) and then, I'm targeting the start of next week to work on adding a couple promotions to the game. Currently, there are only 29 in, while the game can hold 35. I like to have one slot open for people to do "Backyard to Global" without having to make any changes to the data, so that means, in theory, we have 5 potential slots that we can fill with new promotions. Part of the notes I'll be working on is the suggestions for adding promotions, so that I can pick out which ones would work best for the August Update. No guarantees on how many I'll add, but there are plans to do so... Gonna depend on how much info is available and how much feedback I et when discussing promotions. But again, that won't start until next week (The plan is Tuesday July 9th) so everyone can enjoy their holiday this week. -Bill MediaFire: FULL: http://www.mediafire.com/download/hnr8i1u3c61xdxr/JULUPDATE.zip DATA: http://www.mediafire.com/download/22s8uyxusk017vs/JULDATA.zip BEGINNERS: http://www.mediafire.com/download/8jduiosdd467amo/JULBEGINNERS.zip
  10. Wanted to post some notes, while I'm working on the update... I've removed her from the promotions, but will leave her as a wrestler for the time being... Reason is, she hasn't out and out "retired," just said she is taking an indefinite amount of time off, from what I've read... She could be gone 6 months, she could be back in July... Putting a worker as a NW pretty much means you can't use them as a worker at all. This won't be done until they actually appear on WWE TV... Unless I'm wrong, stables don't work in Development Territories in EWR. On one hand, yeah, I can see where him teaching promos could be considered "training," but I'm pretty sure in game trainers are meant to be actually physically "wrestling" trainers... Could go either way on this one, though. I haven't seen anywhere where they have stated which shows will air on what months, with the exception of Hardcore Justice. Problem with that is, the name won't fit and, since that's the shortest of the names, the others likely won't fit as well. I'm thinking about just leaving the "One Night Only" shows as is, naming them after the month they occur in. That way, the player can change them as they wish ingame, without me having to rename them all the time. I didn't put Fandango in as a "dancer," as that only works with faces, as you said... Pretty sure I have him in as arrogant, which should work. -Bill
  11. I'm not sure one exists. I think that was before Bill took over but after the previous people quit making them. Your best bet is to probably take the March one found on the EWWarehouse website and 'update' it by looking at who the champions and main eventers and such were a few months later. There wouldn't be a TON of big changes other than TNA quit using the NWA World Titles and started using their own titles by mid-May, but depending on what time frame you're looking at, you might keep the NWA Titles. My first update was January 2007... So, I have both May 2007 and June 2007... Could've swore that I sent them both to be uploaded to EW Warehouse, but don't see them posted there. Either way, if you wanna shoot me a PM letting me know which one you want (or, I guess if you want both) I can reupload them... Might take a couple days, though. -Bill You may want to take some time to go through your past updates and "fill in the blanks" on EWWarehouse. I would really appreciate it! Just PM'd the missing ones to Idol so he can upload them to the site. sorry it took so long, but life has been hectic here the past month or so. -Bill
  12. OK, real quick, keep the following in mind: 1: This update is supposed to be started on June 1, 2013, so anything happening IRL after May 31st at 11:59:59 won't be included in this update. If you posted something in the May thread that happened after May 31st, I have it noted and will be addressed in the July update. 2: Since I didn't get any complaints about the updated sponsors file, that will be the "regular" sponsors file going forward. For those who don't know, the updated file has a total of 300 sponsors to choose from. -Bill MediaFire: FULL: http://www.mediafire.com/download/pc0qpaey628c5e5/JUNUPDATE.zip DATA: http://www.mediafire.com/download/d3yvm2rvd4rsxoo/JUNDATA.zip BEGINNERS: http://www.mediafire.com/download/5e8aqoth7bggtiz/JUNBEGINNERS.zip
  13. Just wanted to touch base real quick... First off, the June Update will be out probably Tuesday afternoon/evening EST... Latest it will be is Wednesday morning EST. The update is nearly done, but this has been a pretty hectic month in my personal life, so I still want to get a few more updates/changes done before I close it out for June. Sorry for the delay. As always, the update will be reflective to start on June 1st, so anything happening after May 31st at 11:59:59 PM EST won't be on the June update, but will be changed for July (such as Slammiversary results, etc). -Bill
  14. Part of the problem is, in order to fit workers into their card positions, they have to be at certain overness levels. That's a game thiing, not a stats thing. With Steen being a Main Eventer in ROH and PWG (both Cult promotions) his overness has to be between 66-100. Ryder, as a midcard in WWE, has to have his overness between 56-70. The game does allow for some buffer room, but going too high or low from the range and the game will say that they're at the wrong card position. Same thing with Cole... As a main eventer in ROH, he has to be around that 66-100 mark. The problem is, everyone has their own opinions on stats. There is no real "right answer." When people suggest changes, there are a lot of times where people disagree. Neither is wrong, per se, so the only thing I can do is try to balance everyone's opinion into an average number. Another thing is, it's almost always the same workers that people want to change stats on. We had a pretty big discussion on putting all workers in WWE, TNA and ROH into a "tree" and adjusting all of their overnesses, charismas, etc. last year. So, the stats have been overhauled relatively recently. As I said before, there is no "right answer," so all I can really go on is people's opinions on the matter. What you might consider "ridiculous" might be the perfect stats for a worker, in someone else's opinion. -Bill
  15. Well, the simple answer is, I don't really make any adjustments to stats unless others suggest them. so, the numbers you see for overness are pretty much what others have suggested, or, in the event of disagreements, I try to find a happy medium. The Power and Paint gimmick doesn't work for heels. Yeah... It's not a "policy," per se, but I'm not gonna tick announcer for just anyone that sits at the commentary table. In order to have it ticked, the worker would have to be there for more than just one match, or just there for matches to "scout their opponent." -Bill

  18. The thing is, Los Ice Creams (from what I understand) are just other wrestlers who are already in the game, in costumes... Which means, in the game, we essentially have duplicates, which, to be honest, seems silly to me... We wouldn't have Cactus Jack, Dude Love and Mankind all in the data together... I don't see why it should be different for Los Ice Creams, or anyone else that could fall under that category. This past week, for anyone that cares, I did go through the current sponsors file, tweaked it a bit and added 20 more sponsors to bring the total to an even 300. It's not a major overhaul, some sponsor names have been jumbled around and all of the 20 extras added have payments of $1K - $15k, so not a major change from what's already in the game, just a little tweak to it. In running some tests, I'm finding that some promotions ran by the computer simply do not sign sponsors, even if they are available. JCW, for example... If someone plays as JCW, at the start of the game, there are now 7 sponsors that are interested in signing a deal with them. But, if you play as another company, most time, the computer controlled JCW won't sign any sponsors, for whatever reason. If you play as JCW and sign your 4 sponsors, the promotions that doesn't sign any seems to be 2CW... NCW-FF also only signs three under that scenario. My best guess is, that is the game's way of weeding out companies at the start of the agme, to eventually make way for new companies coming in. But, anytime you pick a company to play for, that company will have more than 4 that you can choose from, in order to fill your list of sponsors. I have uploaded the sponsor.dat file for anyone wanting to play around with it some. Barring any major findings of this not working, it will become the new sponsor file starting with the June Update. If you do want to experiment, please make sure you move your old sponsor file elsewhere, so that you don't overwrite it. Once the old one is overwritten, it's gone, unless you re-download the May (or earlier month) update. It's not in a zip or anything, just the file and it simply replaces the sponsor.dat file in your data folder currently. http://www.mediafire.com/?neuhcd3s1rtcd38 -Bill
  19. Yeah, I really don't want to have any duplicates of any workers in the data, so, whoever this "Latvian Proud Oak" is (I don't know), we can either do a rename or just add it to the Alter Egos. The Ice Creams, I'll look at, but again, I really don't want duplicates in the data, so chances are, we'll get rid of those two as well, in the not-too-distant future. In DGUSA, he's still billed as John Morrison, from what I can gather. I found a nice site for a good chunk of the medics and track the ones that I can find monthly: http://www.healthgrades.com/physician/dr-hae-jho-22n5l Nice thing is, this site said he was 65 at the end of March... Now, it says he's 66.... So, his birthday happened during the month of April. I looked around a bit and didn't see any place having them anywhere near 225... Got a link for where you got your info? The info I found, Naomi is engaged to a wrestler in WWE Development named Jasper Orton...? -Bill
  20. OK, wanted to get this out a bit sooner than I normally do, so that I can get started on the June Update within the next few days. I'm gonna actually make some notes immediately after this post, so I can get a jumpstart. 2 workers were removed this month, along with one staff member: Workers Removed Masahiro Fujita - No Info, Zero overness ingame Jeff Shapiro - No Pic, No Info. There is also a "Jeff Shapiro" in Staff Staff Removed Minus (Referee) - No Pic, No Info -Bill MediaFire: FULL: http://www.mediafire.com/?5e124e78gscel74 DATA: http://www.mediafire.com/?78vs665q7cm96wr BEGINNERS: http://www.mediafire.com/?6vg8i3vxmfw1guk
  21. She's on my list of workers to add, as are a lot of other female wrestlers, actually. Problem with a good amount of them is, it's hard to find enough good info on them to put them in in what I consider an "acceptable" level. When adding workers, I have a line I use: N: B/A/Dis/Pic/Fins/Gim It's short for: Birthmonth/Age/Disposition/Picture/Finishers/Gimmick In most cases, I'm hesitant to add a worker if I cant at least get those pieces of information about them. It's not a hard rule, as I have added many workers that I don't have all of that info on, but in most cases, ones that do have all of the info take priority, unless the worker I'm adding is with WWE, TNA, or another top promotion in the game. -Bill
  22. Short answer: If they have been suggested before, I have any info given on them. I've cut into the backlog a fair amount this month, so again, if you're going to suggest a worker (or workers) that have already been suggested, there's a chance that I've already added them for the May update. If you wanna just post a list of the names you're asking abut (menaing, no stats or anything) I can go throgh and see who has or hasn't been added, along with if I have info on them. As long as the list isn't 3000 names long... -Bill Nope not that long I was mostly wondering about "One Man" Mike Dell TaDarius Thomas (I figure he's on the list) Scot Summers "God of War" Lamar Titan Eddie Randle (half of Frosted Tip Warriors with Ryan Kidd) Also have you decided which, if any, promotions you're adding to the next update? Thanks! Dell - Don't see any stats/info on him in my notes Thomas - He's been added Summers - He's been added Titan - He's been added Randle - Don't see any stats/info on him in my notes Probably no promotions this month, as I've been working on getting workers added, but plan to look at people's suggestions and possible add one or more for the June Update, if we can get all the info in a timely fashion. -Bill
  23. 24. More sponsors? To be honest, no I haven't thought about it... Also, to be honest, probably won't be adding any, either. Let me explain: Currently, the game has 280 sponsors. Each promotion can have a max of 4 sponsors. So, even with 34 promotions in the game (I always leave at least one promotions slot open for anyone wanting to do "Backyard to Global") that's a max of 136 sponsors needed. There's already more than double that amount in the game. I really don't think the game needs anymore sponsors... Now, renaming some of the current ingame sponsors to some of the ones you've suggested? That's certainly a possibility. The only thing is, it's hard to put sponsors in a specific slot to match up specifically to promotions. If you look through the current sponsors list, I have in fact, subbed some sponsors in that deal with independent promotions. Death Grip Clothing, One Hour Tees and even Direct for TNA... Again, the prroblem is, matching it up so that TNA actually uses Direct as a sponsor. No promises for the May update, but I'll look into it and see what I can do about swapping some of those in in the future. -Bill It isn't so much purely the number of sponsors vs number of feds, though, because you could have 6-7 feds around the same level, competing for the same sponsors, and you'd need to have enough to accommodate all of them. Just because you have so many sponsors it doesn't guarantee there will be enough at each level for all the feds. Just did a quick experiment. I took the lowest ranked promotions at the Cult, Regional and Small levels. Cult (Shimmer/Shine): 50 Interested Sponsors at the start of the game Regional (SCW): 37 Interested Sponsors at the start of the game Small (WSU): 22 Interested Sponsors at the start of the game My guess is, anyone who plays EWR signs sponsors on the first day... Since you're only running one promotion in the game and pretty much get "first dibs" on sponsors, I really don't see an issue with not being able to sign sponsors. I know I've personally never had an issue, even when I do get the chance to actaully play the game. -Bill
  25. Very quick update on the Sponsors... I was able to get RF Video, Smart Mark Video and Highspots in, replacing Beano, Harley Davidson and Waste Management. So, those three will be in for the May Update. Please keep in mind, swapping sponsors out isn't usually that easy, as I tend to want to slot sponsors in spots that make sense. In other words, mega sponsors like Pepsi, Nike, etc have high dollar payouts, while smaller sponsors payout less money. If there are other suggestions for swapping sponsors in, I'll look at them, but no guarantees I'll find a suitable slot for them. -Bill
