  1. I got him as a tweener currently... Maybe it's me, but just because he didn't help Cena against the Shield and has a title match, is that enough for Ryback to reallly be a heel now? He's fueding with Cena currently, turned on Cena a few weeks back, his promo was heelish, let Cena get beaten up to clarify him being a heel, he now gets boo'd by the fans as they believe he is a heel. And he has a title match vs Cena, I think it's almost definite that he's a heel, but if people still aren't convinced wait until next weeks Raw and see if he does anymore "heelish" things. The Rock fueded with Cena... Didn't make The Rock a heel. "Let Cena get beat up"... As Ryback said, how many times did the Shield beat Ryback up, with no help from Cena...? Cena's not a heel because of it. Now, had he helped beat Cena up, I'd agree. Personally, I don't recall Ryback being booed... He might have, I just don't remember it. Half of the crowd boos Cena all the time... Doesn't make him a heel. "Turned on Cena"... Yeah, he gave Cena a shell-shock... But, similarly, Cena gave Ryback an AA this past Monday... "Has a title match vs Cena" Again, The Rock defended that same title against Cena at WrestleMania... Neither one of them was a heel. Again, might just be me, but I just don't see Ryback as a full-blown heel at this point... -Bill
  2. More sponsors? To be honest, no I haven't thought about it... Also, to be honest, probably won't be adding any, either. Let me explain: Currently, the game has 280 sponsors. Each promotion can have a max of 4 sponsors. So, even with 34 promotions in the game (I always leave at least one promotions slot open for anyone wanting to do "Backyard to Global") that's a max of 136 sponsors needed. There's already more than double that amount in the game. I really don't think the game needs anymore sponsors... Now, renaming some of the current ingame sponsors to some of the ones you've suggested? That's certainly a possibility. The only thing is, it's hard to put sponsors in a specific slot to match up specifically to promotions. If you look through the current sponsors list, I have in fact, subbed some sponsors in that deal with independent promotions. Death Grip Clothing, One Hour Tees and even Direct for TNA... Again, the prroblem is, matching it up so that TNA actually uses Direct as a sponsor. No promises for the May update, but I'll look into it and see what I can do about swapping some of those in in the future. -Bill
  3. Nevermind, didn't see it posted above. -Bill
  4. Wanted to post real quick, to mmake a few notes: First, I have swapped a few of the Networks in the game. In short, I have renamed Bright House Sports to AXS TV (New name for HDNet) and have renamed HDNet to E! In effect, this "removes" Bright House Sports from the game and "adds" E! Figured that, with FCW no longer airing and the new Divas show airing on E! in July, it was a simple "cosmetic change" that could be done. I've also flipped some of the potential audience numbers between E!, AXS TV and MAVTV, to better reflect real-life (In short, E! is in more homes than the other two) but nothing that shuld affect gameplay at all. Pretty much the same numbers, just different names attached to them. Also, before anyone asks, I have no plans to add the Divas show to the WWE TV schedule... From what I understand, it is more "behind the scenes" and won't have any exclusive matches anyway. Couple other notes: He's currently at 68. I wouldn't argue a bump into the 70's, but 85 seems pretty high... I get that his song has "gone viral," but that's his theme, not him specifically. Perfect example: In the late 1990's, there was a song called "Macarena" that was very popular... My guess is, pretty much everyone would need to use Google to know who the song's artist is. I got him as a tweener currently... Maybe it's me, but just because he didn't help Cena against the Shield and has a title match, is that enough for Ryback to reallly be a heel now? Figured this would come up. Gotta keep in mind that this is a North American simulator and that Regal was also wrestling in his home country. Colter and Rodriguez, two workers you mentioned, are on TV pretty much every week and are part of a feud over the World Heavyweight Championship... Besides this week, when's the last time Regal was even on RAW or SmackDown? Ask yourself this: If Regal wrestled on a RAW in the US, would he get the same reaction he did in England...? Even as a fan of Regal's, I have to say he wouldn't. Think that's all I got for now. -Bill
  5. The thing is, workers that are designated as Managers don't have any restrictions on being put in matches. So, Naomi and Cameron could be listed as managers (as they pretty much still are for Brodus and Tensai) without interfering with their ability to wrestle matches, if the player so desires. In other words, workers that are listed as managers can wrestle whenever the player wants... There's even the in game option of turning a manager into a wrestler, if the player chooses. -Bill
  6. Wanted to make some notes while I was working... Danny Davis is the owner of OVW. They're still listed on the website as the tag champs... I don't see any reason to suspend them, just because they aren't worn to the ring. Kane and Daniel Bryan have had many matches where they haven't had their tag belts in tow, either. I also jotted down some notes while watching RAW tonight and wanted to see what people thought. So, feel free to offer opinions on the following: Brad Maddox: Should he have an Authority Figure Gimmick and be made a non-wrestler? From what I gather, he's Vickie's assistant, so I am guessing he could make matches... I just don't actually recall if he ever has or not. Non-Wrestler is a bit more tricky, as I know he's wrestled before and, unfortunately, once a worker is made a NW in the game, they can't work matches at all besides PPV's. Vickie Guerrero: I kept her as a Manager, so that she could wrestle, as she had done so on RAW... But, now that she hasn't in a while, I'm leaning toward putting her back as a Non Wrestler. Perhaps I could set Maddox to "Manager" and have him "manage" Vickie, while giving him the Authority Figure gimmick... He'd still be able to wrestle in that scenario. Also, is it too much of a stretch to tick Diva for Vickie? Theodore Long: Kinda in a similar boat as Maddox, as Booker's assistant, though he's made matches as of late. Thinking Authority Figure for him as well... Brodus Clay: Currently, he's managed by Naomi, who is managed by Cameron, since one worker can't have two managers. Now with Tensai part of their group, perhaps I should set Cameron as Tensai's manager instead...? Also, regarding the Funkadactyls, should we be thinking about changing their gimmick from Dancer to Cheerleader? They seem to have changed their wardrobe and are carrying pompoms now. The Bella Twins: Their secondary finishers are pretty weak. Unfortunately, they rellay haven't used any "finishers" other than the sitout facebuster. I was thinking of putting "Twin Magic" as a secondary finisher for both, since they have won a fair amout of matches by doing the "Twin Magic" swap. Granted, in EWR, it won't reflect them actually changing places, but to the best of my knowledge, there really isn't a way to actually replicate "Twin Magic," so I figured this would eb the closest we'd be able to get. Like I said, just kinda contemplating those things... Opinions and suggestions are welcome. -Bill
  7. OK, I lied... Wanted to get some work done this weekend and had the time, so "No days off"... At least, not yet. Darren Young would be proud. When multiple people suggest stat changes, I do my best to go with a happy medium. When certain workers are argued over month after month, their stats will likley change month by month, becaue of people's varying opinions and who voices them that month. Cena and Orton are two other workers that nobody ever seems happy with. Personally (and I know I'm gonna take crap for this)... I don't know what some people see in Ambrose. IMO, he should be lower than Cesaro and Del Rio... Bateman's charisma probably needs lowered in the scenario you mention above, but personally, I'd put Rollins and Reigns ahead of Ambrose, charisma-wise. But, I don't factor my personal opinion into things too often and didn't in this case, either... Which is why Ambrose's charisma is higher than Rollins and Reigns. Now that I addressed that, I wanted to let everyone know that Heartland Wrestling Association (HWA) will be removed for the May Update. That leaves us 29 promotions in the game, meaning room to add 5. So, if there's a promotion not in the game that you'd like to see added, this would be the time to speak up. I'll be looking for as much information as possible on the promotion, such as: Website Suggestions for Size, Money, Image, Risk, Advertising, Production, Merchandising Roster (Gimmicks, card positions and dispositions are extremely helpful) In short, the more info that can be given, the easier it is on me to add them and likely the better chance that the promotion will be added. Please don't just say "Promotion XYZ should be added." Chances are, I'll completely ignore things like that. Also, the more complete roster that is in the game is a plus as well. Please don't suggest a promotion where only 6 of the 30 wrestlers are in the game. Suggest the workers be added first, then suggest the promotion a few months down the road. I do still have a pretty big backlog on suggested workers to be added. Hopefully, I'll get a chunk of them in in time for the May Update. Finally, if anyone knows in what order the TNA "One Night Only" PPV's are gonna air (meaning which shows will be which months) please point me to a link stating that. I have all of the events documented, as they were taped in March, but couldn't find anywhere in what order they'll be airing. Worst case, I'll likely fill TNA's Monthly Events with something like "One Night Only: August" ao that there's something there when a new game is started. Think that's all I got for the time being... -Bill
  8. Real quick, just wanna let everyone know that, while trying to compress the updates into zip format, as I usually do, I ran across an issue with some of the pics apparently not having the correct apostrophe in them, meaning tha the files wouldn't compress. Took me a little bit, but I figured out the issue, so things should be OK now... If, by chance, you do have an issue as far as getting a pic to show in the game, it's going to be one of three workers, two of which were added this month: Lei'D Tapa Violet O'Hara Rhia O'Reilly As I said, I think I've got this issue solved, but wanted to make a note, just in case someone has isses. From what I can gather, some fonts have different apostrophes and I might have just copied those three names from a website when naming images. Replacing the apostrophe with the standard one on the computer keyboard should solve the problem. Again, I don't anticipate it being a problem, but if it is, that's how to fix it. Also, if you do have this problem, please post in this thread and let me know, so I can try and fix it on my end for next month (again, if I haven't fixed it already). Another note: I did a little housecleaning on my MediaFire account and from now on, I'll only be keeping 6 months worth of updates on there. So, currently, you can still get April, March, February and January 2013 and December and November 2012. When the May update comes out, the November 2012 will be removed. I do have every update that I have ever done on a master backup (The Full Updates, unless I only did a DATA Update that month... I don't keep the Beginners, the pics are too big and they change too much, anyway). So, if anyone every wants one of the past updates, I do still have them. The first update I did was January of 2007, so I don't have anything before that. Pretty sure some sites have all of them archived as well. Please check those other sites before PMing me about a specific update, as it's a bit of a pain to get them uploaded. But, if all else fails, I'll do what I can to help anyone wanting a past update. Last month was a bit hectic, so I didn't get as much done as I had wanted to, but still found the time to make most changes suggested and even add a few workers and staff. I'm planning on taking this weekend off and getting started on May right after that, so hopefully, I can get more done than I did this month. -Bill MediaFire: FULL: http://www.mediafire.com/?wn1xdwc1k381864 DATA: http://www.mediafire.com/?9ztl1ei4ee04e4d BEGINNERS: http://www.mediafire.com/?x2a9xean3qprwjq
  9. First off, sorry that this is a little later than I had planned, but some things came up in my personal life that had to take priority. That being said, pretty much all updates were done this month, with the exception of adding any workers. A few were added, but many were not. That's my project for the April Update, as I was working on other things in the data to help streamline things some. Anyone choosing to download the "Beginner's" update will find a couple of extra banners and logos in those respective folders. I've renamed Shimmer's banner and logo to "banner_SWA" and "logo_SWA" as noted in the Pic Changes file in the Full and data versions. If you download the Beginner's update, you'll find banners and logos for EVOLVE (banner_EVOLVE and logo_EVOLVE) and Shine (banner_SW and logo_SW). With DGUSA and EVOLVE sharing a promotion slot and Shimmer and Shine sharing another, I figured that this would give anyone who wanted to the option of just calling the promotion EVOLVE or Shine and have some banners and logos to chnage it visually. The defaults are still DGUSA and Shimmer, but I hope the addded logos and banners can help anyoen who would want to make their promotion into EVOLVE or Shine. As normal, I'll be back in a few days or so with more notes, as I come across them. -Bill MediaFire: FULL: http://www.mediafire.com/?wg21dz9hoculh67 DATA: http://www.mediafire.com/?uexuzpx24vkh3w7 BEGINNERS: http://www.mediafire.com/?30h36n2l3jquz72
  10. Nope, I had computer issues in January. Update will be out probably within the next day or so, pending on my schedule... Was gonna finish it last night, but was out until about 2AM. -Bill
  11. Wanted to make some quick notes: Most of the time, I leave the last names on simply because I'd have to add them back anyway if someone else came along with the same name. EWR only allows one worker to have a given name at a time. This was an issue when WWE renamed Taryn Terrell to "Tiffany" when there was already a Tiffany in the game. So, to differentiate, I went with "Tiffany Terrell," since I had no idea what the last name was for the other Tiffany. Yeah, I could have done "Tiffany AAA," but I try to avoid that if at all possible. As for Anya, same thing there... There's a staff member named Anya already. I could change the name, but the pic would have to be different. I'll see what I can come up with for that case. Shawn's stats were changed most likley because someone had suggested changes. Nobody has done so yet for Edge. I get the Aces and Eights are kinda like a "biker" group, but in order to have the biker gimmick, the worker muct be a heavyweight. Both Garett Bischoff and Wes Brisco are not, so I kept them as family guys, which I think is still fairly accurate. As for Anderson, is his gimmick really changing, or is he just basically doing the same gimmick he has been, while wearing an Aces and Eights vest? If it's the latter, I'd suggest that he just keep the gimmick he has, which is cocky... Though Arrogant or Egomaniac would fit as well, now that he's heel. Since the game doesn't need anymore staff to operate, I honestly don't see a reason to add him as a staff member, which would in turn, remove him as a worker. I'm not sure, but my guess is, if I added him as a staff member, WWE would release him on day 1, since their staff is bloated already. Then, he wouldn't be on the roster and nobody would be able to use him as a worker either. at least if he gets released by WWE as a worker, people can use him in the game. Steve Austin hasn't wrestled in years, either, but I bet people would be pissed if I removed him from the game... If Mary Dobson deserves to have diva checked, so does Kalamity... Of course, that's a personal opinion, which the "Diva" stat is anyway. Don't recall her ever booking anywhere... Any link confirming this? Curious more than anything. -Bill
  12. OK, real quick notes: No Beginners update this month, as I have been working off of my wife's computer. I'm expecting mine back this week, so assuming it lasts the month, I will likely have a Beginners update included with the March Update. 3 workers were removed from the data: Leo Rogers - No Pic, No Info Tank Sheik Ali - No Pic, No Info Yusuke Morikado - No Pic, No Info Got a lot of stuff done this month that most people probably won't realize, but should help me on the updating end on the future. Probably will start commenting in about a week or so, once I get my computer and get it back up to where I can operate at "full capacity" and can get back to working under "normal" conditions. -Bill MediaFire: FULL: http://www.mediafire.com/?x5gsn4374lid16e DATA: http://www.mediafire.com/?wqft31z72fp27bq
  13. Just wanted to make some more notes: Kinda hard to do when their website seems to be down... Don't necessarily have to be tall or full of muscles to be menacing... For example, when I went to Shimmer last spring, Saraya Knight scared the hell out of me, even though I'm about half a foot taller than her and she's only around 130 pounds. I resisted doing this for the longest time, as WrestleMania has taken place in March before and WWE has at least 12 PPV's per year. Howeveer, in recent years, they've just had 2 PPV's in a month, while skipping March altogether. Since I try to get as close to reality as possible, WrestleMania has been moved to April and WWE does not have an event scheduled in March. Since, in game, you probably shouldn't skip a month without an event, the player will simply have to add one. I've overhauled a lot of the Promotions' event schedules to reflect real life as close as possible. TNA and DG-EVO are two promotions that I am sure that I have made changes to, so when starting a new game with the February update, keep that in mind. After the February update is released, I plan to go through the relationships, as we discussed and try to get some out that probably don't need to be in. I'll likely start with the Vince McMahon relationships that I mentioned earlier, as I haven't seen anyone say that any of those are needed. Anyone wanting to help on this, feel free by making your own suggestions. I don't want to go too crazy and remove stuff that should be in, so I'll probably keep a list of those relationships that are removed and post that list at the start of the month, similar to how I've posted lists of removed workers. That way, everyone getting the update can see the list and if there's something that gets removed that shouldn't have been, we can hopefully get it back in pretty quickly. Regarding adding backyard workers, here's my thoughts: As long as the worker has complete stats, I have no issue with adding them. As most know, I have been removing workers that I can't find info on and will continue to do so. Chances are good, some of the "old" backyard level workers that are in the game will be removed, as finding info on them today probably won't be easy. So, those wanting to play "Backyard to Global" games will have "new" backyard level workers to work with, ones that hopefully have more accurate information. Finally, the February Update will be up sometime this weekend, probably within the next 36 hours and certainly before the Super Bowl. It's pretty much done now, the thing is, I've been doing a lot of "cleanup" work on the data and when I get to doing something, I want to finish it. Having to work on my wife's computer this month, I've done a lot of stuff that's needed done, but has been overshadowed by other, more important things in most months. This month, I've pretty much done everything that's been requested in this thread and have even cut out a few pages of backlog, on top of finding correct information for a bunch of workers that wasn't correct before. February's update will likely have 5700 workers and over 1050 staff members. -Bill
  14. Are we sure this isn't a work...? I dunno a lot about CZW, but if this were a shoot, would it be on their website like this? -Bill You never know with CZW, but after the incident and at Ascension Maven Bentley apologized to the fans and promised to make it up for them so I think it is legit. "Prior to Ascension, CZW Vice President Maven Bentley came out to address the CZW audience in regards to BLK OUT. Bentley announced to the live crowd that he “wanted to ensure the fans would be safe at ringside.” He went to say, “Due to the unprofessional actions of our performers collectively known as the BLK OUT, last month at Cage of Death I had no choice but to release BLK OUT from Combat Zone Wrestling. Until such time, a hearing can be had to determine if they can wrestle safely here again.”" OK, but why would Maven Bentley make that announcement? He's an on-air figure, correct? Now, had someone that normally wasn't on camera came out and made the announcement, it'd give more credibility to it being real... I'm curious to know if this announcement of Bentley's was taped, televised, on youtube, etc... My guess would be, if it was, then it was likely part of the show. I've lowered the attitudes and behaviors that you suggested, the only thing I'm leery on is the relationships. Reason being, if someone spit on your wife (or girlfriend, whatever) would you be willing to still work with that person? I have to assume that a match will come out of this, which likley means that it was a work. If it wasn't planned, why would they only be "suspended" and why wouldn't there possibly be legal action involved? Hopefully, that all makes sense. On a separate note, I'd love to overhaul the relationships and possibly eliminate some that are out of date or whatnot. Currently, there are 7882 relationships, which I'm sure bogs down the loading times. At the same time, though, I don't want to remove legit relationships. Probably the biggest offender is the near-automatic "loyalty" relationship that we give to trainers/students. Not all trainers/students are going to have that sort of relationship IRL. The first step would be to stop adding loyalties, simply because two people have a student/trainer relationship. That would prevent the relationships from ballooning so quickly. Obviously, the next step would be to eliminate some of the ones that are in already, but we aren't able to determine that there is enough of a relationship there to determine a true "loyalty." Other things to look to remove the friendships that were added simply becase 2 workers were seen in a picture together. Again, I don't want to go overboard and remove stuff that is legit, but I do think that there are certainly some in there that probably don't need to be. Dislikes are the same and I'm sure some are probably outdated. I mean Vince McMahon currently has dislikes with Koko B. Ware, Sid Vicious and Paul Heyman. Koko is in the Hall of Fame (Only God knows why) Sid was a guest on RAW this past summer and Heyman has worked for Vince for around a year now... How much dislike can there really be there? Another thing to keep in mind is the relationships affect who you can hire and worker's morale goes down if you hire people that they dislike. Using Vince again, I doubt his morale went down when Koko was inducted, Sid was on RAW, or Heyman started working for him. IMO, that right there is 3 perfect examples of relationships that can be removed. Vince might not be best of friends with those three, but it's also pretty obvious he's not affected by any of them representing or working for his company. The main thing to keep in mind is how the relationships affect gameplay. Another dislike of Vince's is Roddy Piper. Again, whlile they probably aren't best of friends, I don't think Vince whould hesitate to bring him in for a Piper's Pit if the opportunity presented itself. However, having a dislike between them affects their in-game morale, while IRL, I doubt their morale is affected at all. Again, hopefully, this all makes sense. -Bill
  15. Like I said, it's more of a guideline than a hard rule. Reason being, if I set it at 220, anytime a guy is announced or listed at 221, people will want the weight changed. Setting it 10 pounds higher gives some buffer room. This way, any worker that's between 220 and 230 could be classified as either a lightweight or a heavyweight. Chris Jericho, for example, is a Heavyweight in EWR and he's listed at 226 on the WWE website. I don't plan to make him a lightweight because of it, though. Again, we have to remember that, in wrestling, weights can and are often exaggerated. In Bo Dallas' case, he falls in that area where he could either be a lightweight or a heavyweight. In an effore to make the update as realistic as possible, he's currently being portrayed as an NXT Rookie and as a result, a huge underdog. Since underdog only works on lightweights and Dallas is within that buffer, it's more accurate to change him to a lightweight. In the end, it has little to no effect on gameplay. -Bill Well, it needs to be a hard rule. 220+ is a heavyweight, anything less is a lightweight. You're adding incorrect data by doing it your way. But then I'm obsessive over consistency like that. I get what you're saying, as I'm pretty picky too. The problem again is, weights fluctuate, which means a guy could be a lightweight one day and a heavyweight the next. Just doing a bit of research, you'll find that most guys are listed on different sites with different weights. Who knows which one is right? For a company like WWE, you could always say go by the weight on the official site, but there are 30 promotions in the game and not every worker is nearly as easy to get info on. Also, keep in mind, guys like Jericho, Eddie Guerrero and Lance Storm were all over 220 when winning the WCW Cruiserweight title. While you could argue that "Cruiserweight" and "Lightweight" aren't the same, I'd about bet anyone creating or using a "Cruiserweight" Title in EWR would check the "Lightweight Only" box. We all know EWR isn't perfect and as a result, we sometimes have to adjust to that. another perfect example is having to uncheck the "Women's" distinction for the TNA Knockouts Tag Titles, due to Eric Young being a co-holder. It's not ideal, but, the only other option would be to make Eric Young a woman... Which is more realistic? -Bill

  17. That's what I mean by the weights fluctuating, pending on where you look. It's not like wrestling has ever been honest about weights anyway, so while 230 is kinda what I've been using as a guideline, it's more of a case-by-case basis. Again, it's not a big factor in gameplay, so it's not like it's a major concern, unless a worker is clearly one or the other... Like if I had Big Show as a lightweight, I could see the reason to make a change. Usually, if people suggest a change from a lightweight to heavyweight, or vice versa, I'll research it a little and make a call based on the info I have. If the worker is a lightweight champion somewhere or a gimmick requires them to be one or the other, that obviously plays a factor if they are borderline one way or the other. But, in most cases, if there's a suggestion to change a worker's weight and I don't see a clear reason not to, I make the change. Again, it's not an issue that comes up a lot and isn't much of a factor in the game anyway. Michaels and Austin are Hall of Famers. Chances are, if they're gonna do anything wrestling related, it'll be with WWE. The same cannot be said about Nash. Since Nash does make apperances for WWE, though, I'll put him on an open deal. In EWR, he's currently with TNA and AAA... I find it hard to believe that he's done werstling completely... Should he be a NW in AAA, or should we just remove him from AAA altogether? -Bill
  18. Are we sure this isn't a work...? I dunno a lot about CZW, but if this were a shoot, would it be on their website like this? -Bill
  19. For the record, the weight limit I have been using for a while now is 230 pounds. Anything over 230 is a Heavyweight. Anything under is a lightweight. One problem is, people's weights fluctuate and, those right on the cutoff point, regardless of what point you use, could be a heavyweight one week and a lightweight the next. Unless I'm missing something, the only thing in EWR that uses the lightweight/heavyweight distinction is that heavyweights can't compete for titles checked as "lightweight." A couple gimmicks also require a certain weight, but not a lot. Another problem is, over the years and depending where the determination is being made (WWE, WCW, Japan, etc) the limit has fluctuated. Besides, if they wanted to give a wrestler over their "weight limit" a Cruiserweight (or Light Heavyweight) title, they'd either say that the limit was higher, or say that the worker fell under the weight limit. Like I said, the only time it really matters is if you want someone to win a lightweight title. A couple of gimmicks require a certain weight, but not too many. If a worker is borderline on the weight and a gimmick that requires a certain weight fits him well, we'd probably adjust the lightweight/heavyweight status so that they can use that gimmick. I feel that's the case here... Bo Dallas certainly fits the Underdog gimmick and the NXT site has him listed at 230, which was the limit I have been working with. So, he'll be a lightweight with an underdog gimmick for now. When and if his character changes, we can reevaluate accordingly. -Bill
  20. I can see both sides of this one. My main hesitation is that, if he's going to do a wrestling apperance, it'll be as Edge, not Adam Copeland. I get renaming a guy released from NXT to thre name he used on the indies, because he won't be using the "NXT/WWE" name in the indies. However, Edge, I would assume, would be using "Edge" at any wrestling appearance he goes to. Like if, he's signing autographs, nobody's gonna want Adam Copeland's autograph. Hope this makes sense. For what it's worth, I was at House of Hardcore where he made a special appearance, and he was billed as "Adam 'Edge' Copeland." I doubt he'll be making too many other non-WWE appearances, though, so I guess either way works. Yeah, like I said, I can see both sides. The thing is, most of the time in those cases, I'd rather just leave it as is, for the simple reason that it's less work for me to do and I can use that time to work on something that should be altered/changed. -Bill
  21. Wanted to make some notes based on some recent posts: Haven't read or heard anything about this... Any chance for a link? Usually, once soemone is in as a worker, they stay in as a worker, unless there is something confirming that they won't wretle again and even then, I'm leery, since many wrestlers "retire" only to come back in the not-too-distant future. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Lawler wrestle again... Hell, I'd put money on him being in the Rumble Sunday. What's really funny is the fact that he never really did much "announcing." Yes, he had some apperances as the commentator's booth, like the Gimmick Battle Royal at WrestleMania, but for the most part, he was a interviewer type, or update segment type. Also, since this update is designed to reflect reality, Gene fits much better in the Production area, as that's where all of his work these days is done... Hell, has he commentated at all since that gimmick Battle Royal? He's not on the NXT roster and is still on the WWE roster. I would need soemthing concrete saying he is back in Development. In EWR, you can't book NXT,as it is a development territory. WWE is all that you can book. Since McGillicutty is a heel in WWE, he's a heel on the WWE roster. Last I knew, one of the Ascension members was fired... Where would the finisher name change be coming from? His NXT profile says "Double Underhook DDT," which is what is in the game. Like Lawler above, I usually don't remove workers becuase you never know when they'll be back wrestling. If I remove them today and either (or both) appear in the Rumble, or start a feud for WrestleMania, people are gonna want to use them in that capacity, meaning I'd have to re-add them. There are enough staff members in the game for it to run without any needing to be added, so the chances of me moving a worker to staff member are pretty slim. I can only think of two that I have moved recently: Johnny Saint and Abdullah The Butcher. Both of those were due to them both being over the age of 70 and, as a result, too old to be a worker in the game. I had this issue a little while back with Finlay and it ended up being a nightmare re-adding him as a worker. So, unless there are special circumstances, I don't move workers into the staff category, because it's a big pain if I ever need to move them back. Moving staff memebrs to workers is a different story, as it's a much easier process and wecan always go back to assigning a worker the "Staff Member" gimmick. -Bill
  22. No biggie, looks like I got it worked out to the point that I can at least work with it anyway... We'll just keep blaming the wife's laptop... -Bill
  23. OK, wanted to make a few notes... I assume this would be a stable in NXT... Development stuff, such as stables, titles, etc don't get added. This is a pretty general statement. I'd really rather you go through and give me some specifics. Just saying bump 8 workers up in everything by 10 leads me to believe that you didn't really look at them individually. The more specific you are, the better it is... That way, it can be discussed more. No, it hasn't been discussed, mainly because nobody has ever suggested stats. To be honest, I'd really rather not put him in, but with him actually wrestling a match, it's kinda hard for me to deny it if the information to include him is provided. Another note: Some might have noticed that some promotions were removed and we currently have 30 in the game. In short, that means we could potentially add 4 to the game. This doesn't mean everyone needs to start submitting their local indy promotion that only they have ever heard of, but if there is a promotion out there that we can get info on, has a majority of the roster in the game already and runs somewhat regularly, I'm willing to listen. Finally, I dunno if it's this new layout, my wife's computer or what, but copying and pasting posts is a big pain in the ass all of a sudden. Everything is double spacing, basically making all of my notes double the size. Frustrating, but able to be worked around. Also, Chrome sucks ass, too... When I tried it, I couldn't even open spoilers on here... Hopefully, the double posting on IE is fixed. -Bill
