Well they should actually play games then, dammit. Especially if they're Pesci and Josh

I've seen loads of names I don't know browsing the board over the last couple of days. Maybe we could do with another Newbie Mafia? Don't see the harm in just running them whenever there's demand. They don't really take activity away from other games and we desperately need to do everything we can to encourage new players.

What's being reported?
Usual twitter mess involving possible gay affairs and irate wives and missing brothers and mob links.
-
Double.

Regardless of whether what they're saying is true, we still don't know what other things were going on in his life. Even if some evidence comes to light that he was likely to have been gay, that doesn't mean it's as simple as 'he killed himself to avoid the shame of having it publicised.' Depression doesn't always have to have come from something, it can merely make otherwise conquerable problems seem endless.

I am here! Lots of re-reading to do but I'll try and catch up tonight. My computer was in getting fixed. I got it back, it's still broken, but mafia comes first.

Sorry Norro, I've emptied it now!
-
Somewhere in between 12 and 13 players?
Yup.
-
The best games are somewhere in between.
-
I'll give it a go! I'm only doing this because it's you, Norro. Anime makes my brain hurt.

I shun your awful chat mafia

I didn't even make the start of Diaz/Penn!

I already fall asleep during the main event all too often

I reckon the same people do that that always did, it's just that fewer of the vocal guys are playing nowadays.

I've seen a few of these mistakes on websites and there's definitely a get-out clause they have to allow them to give you a refund. Think in the case of obvious error the company aren't required to honour the deal.
Even in real life, if a game is mis-labelled, the shop still aren't required to sell the product at that price.

Actually, a totally different kind of wrestling game - one the doesn't pretend it's real combat. Make it co-op and you and your partner have to execute moves as well as possible to avoid botches. You try and put together a match with good pacing and get style points for getting the crowd involved. Probably couldn't be as good in practice as it is in my head

They should do a game based on The Wire. You start off visiting your dealer, return home to shoot up, fall unconscious, wake up, stumble out of your front door to return to dealer and get shot in the head at random. The end.

Fantastic quote in another Kotaku article on GTA:
Also, aren't we all getting more than a little sick of running around in fictionalized U.S. cities? They could even add other wonderful backdrops like Paris, Scotland and Frankfurt. -
I say more of this! If you disagree you're scum!

If a game's going to have an unlynchable don, if the town tries to lynch him, they should get a second chance to vote. It's crazy to penalise the town (by losing a lynch) when they've correctly identified the don.

RUKI WILL CAVE UNDER PRESSURE, CRUSH HIM

She will sign up tomorrow and I will be jealous.
I have already issued her with impressive dossiers on all players, possible game mechanics and in-jokes. She will be prepared

Pre-reg for my sister! Although to avoid confusing her that means I then wouldn't be able to play a Sousa game

I dunno about deadlines, I think we might have gone in circles a bit. When we first started playing things moved at a really rapid pace so I don't think we needed them. We probably would have hurried things up if a day period took more than a couple of days. I definitely used deadlines when I ran my shitty Marvel Mafia that never finished, but I think they were in use already. We then got more and more patient, but since activity's dropped off recently they've become more common.
