Five English teams in the last 16 is pretty insane. Also, it's weird how this Champions League campaign so far for us hasn't felt special, and yet we've mostly performed at a level above any other. Firmino has scored more goals than any Liverpool player ever has in the group stage of the competition, we've scored more goals than we ever have (I believe more than any English side in any group stage, too, but don't quote me) and we've already scored way more goals than we did in the ENTIRETY of the campaign in 2005 when we fucking won it.

For what it's worth, I haven't had a single issue with 8 man matches. The frame rate may drop a LITTLE, but it's barely noticeable unless you're actively inspecting the screen. When you're concentrating on the match, you don't even realise. I say this as somebody who is hyper critical of these games and how lazy they usually are.

Huh? I've literally never seen two kickout slivers in this game, 2K17 or 2K16. There's always one red one to kick out, and then sporadically one to reverse the pin or grab for a rope break.

Jesus, is MPF £50 now? It's been like half that price in previous years with way better lineups, IMO.

You mean there are two kickout slivers? Because when that's happened to me it means the smaller one either reverses the pin into a pin of your own, or you grab the ropes to (hopefully) break the pin rather than kick out.

Can we take a moment to acknowledge how fucking absurd it is that we played Gini Wijnaldum as a CB today and, short of a ludicrous penalty decision, would have kept a clean sheet.

I actually miss that kind of passion for club football. I loved Gerrard talking about how he found it hard to swallow his hatred for his England teammates in similar fashion. Used to depress me seeing Lucas Leiva and the Da Silva twins having BBQs together and stuff.

Picked this up yesterday and only found time to play a couple of matches with the 205 Live guys, but wow, this game is a massive improvement on previous editions.

It's the same jump that always got me, too, and having watched it on YouTube it seems to be the one that fucked most people. This thread prompted me to download an emulator and I finally fucking beat that level. I have vanquished my demons.

Fun fact: I still have never gotten beyond the lava level because as a kid I couldn't do it, so I just threw a stop and never attempted to beat that level again. Good game tho. Jungle Book and Lion King games are equally great.
