He's not one of the best. He's great, but not one of the best. His reputation exceeded after he died, and he probably wasn't deserving of it. Sure, he was fucking awesome, but he never warranted the attention he got after he died.

Trivium are very hit and miss for me, but it's usually hit. Matt, though, does tend to piss me off a lot. Cory on the other hand, seem awesome enough.

Nope. The only chance of remembering is if everyone just chipped in as many bands in the style I described and me checking out the names that seem familiar.

So the first series is out on DVD on Monday, is it worth getting? It looked badass but I never got round to watching it.

Everyone seems to think Puff Daddy/P Diddy/Puffy/Diddy's "Come With Me" was a disaster, and disrespectful for using Zep's "Kashmir," but I liked it. It was a very nice change from usual hip-hop.

The Anthem is fucking shit.

Heh, they may not be heavy rock, but I'm gonna list these anyway: - No Doubt - The Distillers - The Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Arch Enemy - Tsunami Bomb and I hate that I can't for the life of me, figure out a music video I saw on one of the pop music channels the other day. While they were on those channels, they were very punkish, female-lead, and sounded a bit like the Distillers, but I can't remember who the fuck they were.

Disturbed's Land Of Confusion is one of the more decent covers. And U2 > Oasis when it comes to Helter Skelter.

I think people percept 'emo' in different ways. My friend, for example, would consider Bullet For My Valentine emo, but not My Chemical Romance. I, however, think MCR are as absolutely textbook emo as you can get.

Nothing compares to Crazy Taxi. Ever.

Last Kiss by Pearl Jam is a must. It's tons better than the original. And AFI's newer stuff is very hit and miss. They play a lot of emo now, but when they're doing gigs they tend to fold back to the hardcore punk style.

Heh. I've only ever liked one song, and that was Come With Me. And that doesn't count, 'cause it was just Kashmir re-recorded with him rapping over it. So, he's still shit.

I'm slowly getting into it. I have three friends who have been doing it for a while, two don't know what the fuck they're doing, but one has actually been going to a club every week since he was little, and he's really into it, and has convinced me to take it up. When I get round to it, however, is a different story.

The Corrs' cover of R.E.M's "Everybody Hurts." It was performed live on MTV Unplugged, and it's just awesome.
