My penalty woes on Football Manager continues. Played West Ham in the 3rd round of the Carling Cup. ( Villa beat Cheltenham 3-0)... Finishes 2-2 goes to penalties. Neuer saves Ashtons so what does Barry do blast it over, They score 2 on the bounce and i score the next two on the bounce...Neuer saves Zamoras so what does Reo Coker do? Hits it straight at the keeper and Solano scores his pen. Petrov needs to scores and he blasts it over. I hate penalties so that's 1 cup competition i'm out of now... Quick question. How long do you have to wait to get a new feeder club?

If they make you buy it than they should give you free mnth or something. I also think that there should be an option to buy like a season's game time, 3 mnth membership stuff like that. Like on Xbox Live you can get 1mnth, 3mnth, a Year etc

depends entirely on A) How much it is per month and B) If i have to actually purchase the game how much will that cost as well. I just think make the online better on the actual FM08, 07 etc better so you can join leagues like on FM Live instead of making a completely different game and have a feature like on the Xbox where you draft your team.

Sorenson's a pile of crap to put it bluntly. If my FM would work with Scott Carson in the database than i wouldn't of needed a keeper but whenever i clicked Carson the game would end. Sorenson getting old and Taylor just ain't a good 1st choice keeper

not really cheating, if i was to use it to my advantage to try and snap up everyone who could become a super player in the future it would be. I just normally check current ability of my squad in positions to see which areas need improving on which i did which was why i saw i needed a Goalkeeper and two attacking midfielders which i got. I don't like using it to try and snap up wonderkids just to see how my team is getting on.

It's gone a bit pearshaped.... Beat Cheltenham 3-0 with a weakened side, got West Ham in the 3rd round. Lost to Newcastle 3-1 at Home got absolutely battered possession wise i threw too many chances away but Van Der Vaart got a late consolation goal on his debut so that cheered me up slightly. Here's the table after 5 games Table after 5 Games Next 5 fixtures not including cup: Man City Away- TV Spurs Home- TV Chelsea- Away Middlesbrough- Home Derby- Away I predicted that i'd get 10/12 pts from the opening 4 fixtures and i've got 9 so a bit below what i expected and here is my predictions for this bunch. I should beat Derby and Boro and probably beat Man.City...Draw with Spurs and loose to Chelsea that's my targets so my target is 10 pts out of 15 for these 5 matches

I was impressed with Newcastle yesterday and they fully deserved their point a point which could be very valuable later on in the season. Jonas looks like he'll be a great player and a good solid performance from our former player Guthrie and Milner had a good game too i thought. Can't really base anything of just the 1 performance though but if Newcastle where to keep performing like this than they'll be challenging for Uefa Cup spot this season. Chelsea wow all i can say i think Big Phil is what they needed and their midfield looks amazing to simply put it and if they continue to perform like that then i can see them winning the title this season. Crap performance from us against Sunderland but we managed to get the win, something i felt last season if we played crap we wouldn't of been able to get 3 pts, this is something we need to do this season is to still win even if we play poorly if we are to challenge for the title. Too many draws last season cost us

You bastard!!!!! Was playing Wigan my 4th game of the season and i won 3-0...but there was a cost as Andrei Arshavin broke his foot and is out for 4 mnths?!!!!! Atleast Van Der Vaart might be coming so that is lucky. Put in a bid for Luka Modric to try and add more depth, Zak Knight is set to move to Middlesborough for £7.5mil which in turn will help fund the Luka Modric transfer. Signed a few promising youngsters so hopefully i can train them up into future stars. Edit: This official, Signed Van Der Vaart for £13.75mil so i'm happy that i've managed to sign him before the deadline and the fans are really happy with this deal.

I traded in Oblivion ages ago. I was on the last quest and it auto saved and was the only save i had and i got stuck at the same bit near the end with no health what so ever and no items to help get my health up. Just dreadful and i got annoyed so didn't play it anymore. Dead Rising...finished before left it to collect dust and tried it again only to like not complete it. Also Call of Duty 4 on Veteran i want to do it, i try to do it, i fail and i fuck off and do something else. I remember playing the 1st Condemned at my mates...Mate was telling me it was scary at times and he had the curtains closed was like alright i'll have a go and help you finish. Lost Carew to injury) Beat Liverpool 4-2 (Fantastic performances with Arshavin, Harewood, Petrov and Abonglahor scoring) Lost to Blackburn 2-1 (Really should of been a draw but two quick fire goals from Blackburn in 48 and 50th minute killed the game off, Lost Reo Coker to injury at Half Time might not be fit for Wigan game) Trying to sign Van Der Vaart but i might be tempted to try and sign either another Striker to go with Carew, Arshavin and Abonglahor up front...But i think a quality Winger is needed

Yeah i'd have more points if Sub Benches count due to Ashton scoring goals so that blows hopefully Carew will score for Villa. Right this is how i've gone so far in my game with Villa, went on holiday just come back so here's the two friendlies i've done and the signings i've secured Aston Villa 1-0 Walsall- Right i didn't really care about this match and do my normal pre-season tinkering with my strongest starting XI starting first half just told them to relax enjoy run out, Brought all the subs on and forgot to do team talk for them. Routledge scored in the 2nd half Barcelona 4-4 Aston Villa- Really happy with this result considering i had again my strongest XI start first with Carew getting a hattrick 1st half and an Abidal own goal i was 4-1 up at half time. Arshavin made his debut 2nd half didn't really do anything. Good result Transfers: In Andrei Arshavin- £9.25 Mil Jake Thomson- £525k I'm looking for a goalkeeper and a right back still what with Mellberg leaving the club and only having Sorenson and Taylor. Play Inter Milan next so hopefully i can get a good result
