I think the longest game i've ever done with a lower league side was on FM07 when i was Exeter, took them from the Conference to Championship, won a few crappy cups, got to Leauge Cup semi final lost to Man.U It was fun but i just couldn't stick with it. That's why when i play FM08 i cannot stick with the same team for ages cause i get bored. I normally do 2/3 seasons with a team before moving to another team for a different challenge

Yes it has been a long long time since I've posted in here but I've started a new game first two seasons i was with Liverpool this is how it went: 2007/2008: Won the Premiership by 2 pts (Arsenal were 2nd) League Cup Semi Final Champions League Semi Final FA Cup 3rd Round... I was also England manager and took us to Euro 2008, but things went a bit wrong and didn't win a single game in the group stages so got sacked 2008/2009: Won the Premiership by 1 pt (Arsenal again 2nd) Won the League Cup- Beat Everton 7-3 Won the FA Cup- Beat Man.U 1-0 But yet again another Champions League Semi Final lost on Penalties to Bayern Munich I felt like a change and the Valencia job was up for grabs so decided to have a go at that. Also applied for the Spain Job and managed to get that as well 2009/2010 Won La Liga with 5 games left, won by 20 pts Won the Spanish Cup- Beat Athletico Madrid 2-0 Lost in the Uefa Cup semi finals to Chelsea 3-2 But the disappointment of not securing a treble i managed to rebound and i won the World Cup with Spain, beating Brazil 3-2 after Extra Time which took me to 2nd in the all time great English managers in the Hall of Fame. 2010/2011 Won the Spanish Super Cup against Athletico Madrid 7-6 on agg haven't started the La Liga season but hoping i can finally put an end to this curse of Europe. 3 semi finals is starting to get to me now but hopefully this season with the squad i've got we can finally win a European Cup for me!!!

It could be to do with stuff like the coaches in training your players Shooting, Morale, Composure, Team Talks, Form stuff like that if you've got a striker who's been playing badly motivate them. Also try altering your tactics a bit

Sorted out the Scott Carson problem lol by just deleting him from the Database. Scott Carson Who? So now decided to go Liverpool and my first order of buisness was to bring in my own coaching team which i did and Pako is now back at Anfield YAY! Looking good so far in Pre Season (I kno only pre-season) but my team looking good made a few key signings too so here is what my Liverpool team looks like at the moment: GK: Pepe Reina DL: Alvaro Arbeloa DR: Micah Richards DC: Andrea Barzagli DC: Jamie Carragher DMC: Javier Mascherano MR: Daniel Alves ML: Ryan Babel AMC: Steven Gerrard AMC: Sergio Aguerro ST: Fernando Torres Also managed to secure the signings of Igor Akinfeev and Michael Johnston but looking at the possibility of a new Left Back. Anyone got any good reccomendations for a Left Back?

I'm having this really weird problem with my Football Manager game. I'm on the current patch (8.0.1) and i was Liverpool/England manager and whenever i went to click Scott Carson the game just randomly closed down. At first i thought it might of just done a crash so i tried again and it closed down whenever i clicked his name so i thought it was a problem with that game. Started a new game, clicked Scott Carson thing closes down. I was wondering if anyone could help me and answer my question as it's really starting to annoy me now lol

After being controlled by Halo 3 on the Xbox and Smackdown VS Raw 2008 i thought i'd go back to one of my first games and played a few games of Rainbow Six Vegas and i've got to admit it's still one of my favourite games i've ever played. Online just really good!!

Yeah i always get pestered during a Liverpool game from the likes of Real Madrid and Inter for Xabi Alonso. Momo Sissoko i always get interest from and John Arne Riise who i tend to sell for around 8-10 mil

Thanks for that Baddar D. Actually thinking about it there is a rather ridiculous amount of Disallowed Goals I dunno if this is a bug but i do find it rather stupid. Playing a friendly against the Met Police with Barcelona and win 8-0 and the confidence was stupid. It's not a bug but i think Confidence should be more realisitic because your the difference is huge and i just thought beating a really crap team just shouldn't be a huge confidence boost

I'd go for the Xbox 360. Great online play, cheaper than the PS3, Great games. Most of the stuff that used to be Playstation exclusive have now seen the light and make their stuff on the Xbox. The older consoles used to break after a year or two but the newer consoles shouldn't. I've had my Xbox for over a year now and not a single problem.

Good to hear Sick. I hate it when something happens to the PC and you loose data. One of those things i wouldn't want to wish on anyone even my arch nemesis lol. Does anyone know if any decent skins have been made for FM 08 yet?

I always tend to get him ever since FM 05 but Ochoa the mexican goalkeeper always seems to be pretty decent. I signed him for Barca and it seemed to make alot of people happy especially Zambrotta for some reason lol

I've found a good young midfielder from Belgium; Steven Defour 19 years of age and got some impressive stats and can play Centre Mid or Attacking Mid. He has some experience however in playing Striker, Right Mid, Attacking Right Mid and Attacking Left Mid. Currently my scout says he isn't far from having the required potential to be better than Deco,

When it comes to getting frustrated?!! Well i swear a bit, bang on the desk and than when it comes to the next game start doing some big motivational team talk to the PC while playing some music to go with the situation. I was West Ham and was starting to loose my Uefa Cup Spot despite being there all season. Played The Final Countdown by Europe and they started to win... Bad thing was the other teams won so i was screwed anyway
