But I think they're good enough that they'll take advantage of the situation if they play a team that gets sloppy (Dallas) or a team that lacks heart (Dallas) or a team that falls apart in a close game (Dallas) or a team that doesn't really play like a team (Denver), they might pull off a first round victory. Kobe's not only the best all-around player in the NBA, he's probably the best player I've ever seen in the NBA (93 onward). I mean, he's definitely on par with Jordan. Again, not a fair comparison since Jordan was not as explosive in the last Bulls run. But still, I'd put Kobe up against Jordan the way he's playing this season. He can score 40+ every night, but he doesn't. And not because he lacks the killer instinct, but because now he can get his teammates involved as well. He's a way better defender than Lebron, not to mention how clutch he is. Needless to say, I'm almost glad Yao's out so I can fully root for the Lakers for the playoffs. >_>

If this isn't the MVP season for Kobe, I don't know what is. With all due respect to Lebron, Kobe is the odds on favorite.

Like him or hate him, John Mayer's one of the best guitarists in the world today. Granted, he's much better at the bluesy stuff, but I thought that solo was excellent and did the original justice.

As a Rockets fan, this is terrible. I just pray Yao makes it back for the Olympics and does well, or else there's gonna be a billion angry people in China. But with 2 season-ending injuries in his short career, it's not looking good.

Ben Wallace can't do much, but he's a hell of a lot better on the defensive end than Z or Gooden. Wally is a great shooter who will be tied to Lebron whenever they're on the court, always able to kill the opposition with a three if they double up on Lebron. And I'm a big Delonte West fan. Fantastic trade for the Cavs.

I'm constantly torn over whether or not this show needs to be axed simply because it's getting absurd, but I'm so invested into these characters, especially guys like Mahone, that I'd love to see them for another season. This episode was lacking, I feel.....simply because it was ridiculous to me that Michael's great plan involved nothing but pure luck and crawling underneath trucks. McGrady bores me, and goddamnit Sucre. I just want him to get home happy, and it looks like that's never going to happen. Next week should be good though.
