Is Jack Black good in anything? Meh, he's alright. He and Ben Stiller get real annoying real fast. They have a couple of funny scenes, but I think it was a big mistake putting them with heavyweights like Cruise and Downey. They get exposed for the one-trick pony they are.

I'm on the fence. Downey and Cruise stole every scene they were in. From an actual top-to-bottom movie though, it dragged from place to place. I'd still recommend people to watch it though.
