I only really mentioned gangsta rap because it's what I had already heard to some degree, and enjoyed. It was just to give an idea of what I may or may not like.

Is it really that great? I had planned to see it when it first came out, but all of the people I know who saw it said it wasn't all that great. Should I go rent today?

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I now mark for Tech N9ne and Cypress Hill. Couldn't find any of the recommended Cannibus songs. If someone could recommend some specific Wutang songs, that'd be great. I downloaded a few, but wasn't sure what to look for.

Okay, so I know next to nothing about the genre, but I have a very open mind when it comes to music and like a bit of everything. So naturally, I sort of want to download some rap songs to add more variety to my playlist. Here's where you guys come in. Like I said, I know little about rap, so the songs to download will have to be all you guys. I'm not into the hip hop or more gentle stuff, the only stuff I have really heard is 90s gangster rap. That's what I like. So, I was looking for similar modern stuff along with what I may not have heard from the 90s. Go!

I'll definately give it a go, but the camera angle looks quite annoying from those pics, and though they may be "better", I prefer the GTA graphics to those. I can't describe why since I am not too certain.

After deciding I was going to play in that fucking freeroll for the first time in ages, and since it starts at 1:30 and sometimes runs until 7AM I wanted to take a nap to be alert. It turns out I had set my alarm an hour late, at the time it began, 1:30, and not the time it opened for registration.

Has anyone else heard their first release? I was just told to listen to it on AIM, and so far what I have heard is most excellent. Just looking for your opinions here, i'll post something with a little more to it when I have heard more than two songs. It's fucking official. Tracii Guns and Nikki Sixx are godly together. Or just godly, Iunno.

They have play money, but playing play money anywhere outside of tournaments sucks and requires no skill. But yeah, to answer your question, they have plenty of free money tables. FTP was "in" if you want to call it that, long before now. As for me, I think it nonsense to consider it cool to play on any one poker site. The cool people play a variety. Absolute Poker, Full Tilt Poker, and Poker Stars for me.

Metallica ARE legends. Any band who reaches the level of popularity they have, and maintains it for the length of time they have, are legends. However, that does not mean that I find their music to be great by any means. I consider Ozzy Osbourne a legend, and I despise his music. Guns N Roses are also legends. When I think of heavy metal legends, I have never, and never will, think of Judas fucking Priest. Back to Metallica, I like a lot of Metallica, but this is probably equal to the amount that I dislike. Couple that with the fact that I don't like Hetfield or Lars, and I don't consider myself a fan. Kirk is one of my favorite guitarists, but I still prefer Mustaine or Kerry King. I have no reason to form opinions for or against Trujilo, since I know very little of him. I despised everything about St. Anger, and unlike most I do not support the arguement of "You just don't like it because it's different." You fucking idiot. Of course i'm not going to like it because it's different from the what I did like. If it were the same, why the fuck would I hate it? They changed their sound, it sucked. Period. Much of this isn't only aimed at board members, but the Metallica fans who hassle me for not liking them in general. As for "hating Metallica because it's cool", no. Metallica fans come in masses, and I have ALWAYS been outnumbered in the Metallica debates. People who hate Metallica hate them because they do not enjoy their music. Just as you like them because you do enjoy their music. It doesn't go any deeper than that. Slayer > Metallica

IDEA! We should all make a single bot that we don't allow to battle anyone but EWBers. Also, for those struggling, I will give you free points. The game fucked my bot over by increasing his rank before he was ready, and now I can't gain points because all of the people on my level can kick my ass with ease. So I need to lose a lot.

90% of the ideas people come up with, I hate. The game is complex enough for the purpose it is meant to serve as it is, we don't need fucking gas tanks or cops watching us closely for killing someone. On paper, gas tanks sound great, and for the first few empty tanks it'd be great fun. However, think about being in a five star car chase with the FBI on you, when you run out of gas, and get killed trying to get into the next car. Or for that matter, say you're exploring the city, and you're out on the countryside of San Andreas when you... run out of gas? Fuck. It'd cause far more grief than it would add entertainment. As far as the story goes, I don't like the idea of going back to a previous city. I like how it is now, where even though you may be on the other side of the country, you can still find occasional ties to the previous games. A futuristic GTA is the dumbest idea i've ever heard, and completely kills almost everything I enjoy about the GTA feel. I think going back further than the late 70s would be a mistake, because the farther back one goes the harder it is to give the game correlation with it's predecessors. My personal preference is that they continue with the San Andreas vibe, and rather than focus on one US city or state, make the best of a few of our favorites from a particular region. This keeps each stage of the game fresh and unique, unlike in Vice City where the game didn't change at all from one island to the next, and to a lesser extent, GTA3. As for a region to put this in? I think a game, not based on a particular country, but something that threw together many European stereotypes into one area outside of the US wouldn't be a bad idea at all.
