  1. I must agree, I heard some stuff with Graves (Descending Angel or some such) and I couldn't bear it. It's like the Misfits tried to go from horrorcore/hardcore/punk to power metal. Ugh. Although I don't know how the Only/Dez/Marky Ramone line-up sounds. I like Black Flag and I like The Ramones and I like Jerry Only, but like I said - I haven't heard any of it. On topic, Black Sabbath reunited for Ozzfest last year and they're playing again this year, iirc...
  2. I echo the "who the fuck are Feeder" sentiment presented by Casey. I'd much rather see Billy Idol or Garbage headline. Are you sure they aren't just some popular indie band in Europe? I've never ever heard of them.
  3. Yes indeed. I'm going to attempt to get to the hidden SF tattoo parlour this afternoon when I get home, the tattoos there are awesome.
  4. That's how I feel. I listen to something like Master of Puppets and then try to listen to Load or St. Anger and there are very few songs I can get into on those albums. I think Phil Anselmo said it best: Not an exact quote, as I can't find the issue of Terrorizer where he says it. (Do you see the irony in the statement? ) Still, I prefer MoP, RTL, AJFA, etc. over Load, Re-Load, St. Anger, etc.
  5. http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=166773&st=0 Instructions on viewing hidden interiors via Ganton Gym. http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/odfarealsmg/...ir=7eef&.src=ph Odfareal's hidden interior screenshots.
  6. The bolded ones are interesting. Apparently there was going to be a sex mini-game, which would have been odd, to say the very least. More: http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=178571 The guy that posted that last bit, OD fa real, has also found a lot of hidden interiors such as the girlfriend's bedrooms, etc : http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=174800&st=240 This is some really interesting stuff, imo. I wish they would have kept in the property development stuff, that would be really cool to buy a vacant lot or something and turn it into your own casino or house etc.
  7. Okay, thanks. That's what I was thinking was that the latter was O-Dog, but I couldn't be too sure of it. I need to see both those films
  8. The black guy in the game with the yellow shirt, has a little circular black patch on the lower part and (iirc) black pants. That's modelled after a Cuba Gooding Jr. character, but who and from what movie? And also, CJ's gang members - specifically the small guy in green flannel with dreadlocks. He's modelled after someone from a movie too. I want to say Menace II Society but who from that film? Thanks!
  9. I can't say I own any reggae CDs, but I still find the time to enjoy the reggae station we have here on digital cable, and I won't object to listening to Bob Marley & The Wailers when I'm at a friend's house.
  10. Alternatively, if you want to fix it yourself, there are quite a few guides floating about the internet on how to disassemble your PS2, clean it, and fix the DRE. Every time I've gotten the DREs, I've just referred to an old techtv.com DRE fix FAQ and it's worked every time so far (and I've done it 3-4 times)
  11. Isn't one of the lines something along the lines of "DAMN Tanner, you suck!" or something?
  12. I haven't been able to play and won't be able to until I get a new PC or the HD space problems on this one are rectified, but I used to play StarCraft (w/ expansion) Diablo II (w/ expansion) and Age of Empires.
  13. Go along the boardwalk near the beach house that you can purchase and look for a billboard advertising cigarettes called "Homies Sharp". Look at the shop beneath the billboard; It's called "SubStandard", and has a logo and color pattern similar to Subway's. Possibly a little jab at Subway's restaurants?
  14. I wouldn't listen to Tristy, he's just frustrated because he sucks wang at GTA:SA. I mean, sucks hard. He got stuck on some of the easiest missions on the game, on the first island! And Midg, is it true that MGS3 is a fairly short game too? My friend received it as a gift for christmas and he was telling me the other day that while it was a lot of fun, it only took him about a few days to beat, and he was pretty surprised when he reached the end because he wasn't expecting it to take such little time.
  15. Actually, come to think of it now, there was an issue of PSM after that one stating that the PS3's little release delay is partially due to Sony using an advanced technology for the PS3. I believe what the article said was that the technology they had in mind is quite expensive to the average consumer, so they were going to wait a while until it became a more common-place thing. I can't be certain though, as I don't have the issues of PSM in question. I'm just trying to recall what I read from memory.
  16. Family Guy, Futurama, Greg The Bunny, and: http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/DvdDe...894/dvdid-3463/ Which I watched religiously when it first aired (hyuk hyuk hyuk).
  17. Well, I guess Microsoft is really going to cash in on the Halo trend. Next up, trying to keep up with Microsoft: Sony develops GTA movie! Again, wouldn't doubt it if it was announced
  18. Any cost estimates for the consoles? I believe PSM estimated the PS3 to be around $500 at launch.
  19. Flea, Claypool, Burton, Wooten. Wooten is awesome. So is Bela Fleck.
  20. If it's the "Morgan von Webb" skit or whatever from X-Play, I've seen it. Pretty interesting, although I don't think I'm going to be dropping my PS2 10 feet or hitting it with a sledgehammer anytime soon.
  21. The Prince (of Persia) or CJ. Probably CJ. I quite liked Cesar too, shame you can't play as him in 2 player mode or anything!
  22. Eazy E, NWA, Ice Cube, etc. along with nearly anything from the 80's. In fact, most of the time I wish I could have been born around the mid 1960s to early 1970s in order to have experienced my teenage years throughout the 1980s. What I would give to be a 15 year old in 1983 living in the bay area...or in the later 80's living in SoCal...man. Also, the new Good Charlotte song is catchy as fuck. So is Stacy's Mom by Fountains of Wayne. Although, I must pose a question; if Fountains of Wayne are "in love with Stacy's mom" as they say, and my aunt is Stacy, does that mean Fountains of Wayne are in love with my grandma? Because that's creepy.
  23. *starts Brawler chant* Seriously though, I think I'd have more fun (and diversity >_>) playing Smackdown! 2.
  24. Where the heck did you hear that? The races from Realms of EverQuest are back along with two new playable races, the Iksar shaman (lizard-thing) and Vah Shir berserker (Leopard-thing).
