Okay I kind of stuck, well I kinda really don't know what to do next. I'm at the part where the Captain Anderson steps down, and Sheppard becomes the new captain (in Citadal.) Where do I do now after this? Do i use this time to tackle any side quests i haven't done?

Does anyone here still play Gears of War? If so, how's the online community? Is it still pretty active? I'm just asking because I owe my brother a 360 game, and he wants Gears.
-
What does Prestige entitle exactly?
-
Rank 52...using an M60...Almost there
Pssh, I'm never going Prestige.
-
I'd just start the tournament, if I were you. Somebody is bound to quit halfway through it anyway, and that'll solve your problem.
-
Yeah, I was really looking foward to seeing the rematch between the Colts and the Patriots next week. Instead we'll be lucky to get a close game...
-
I agree, therefore we should only allow people to vote who have played EVERY SINGLE GAME RELEASED THIS YEAR. Then, we will know.
Something else that should be pointed out.. is there going to be a cut-off here for games that were ported? Just off the top of my head looking at Mattman's list, Elder Scrolls IV was 2006 for sure... but ported to the PS3 in 2007 with basically no changes other than built in expansion. Guitar Hero II, same deal.. sans expansion, and from other systems to 360.

Poor old Europa Universalis III will not get any love. I am alone in my vigil.
I'll vote for it, except that looking at all these people who've put Assassin's Creed in their top 10 has already destroyed whatever hope I have for this list.
-
If I had to vote, I'd go something like this...
1. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
2. Mass Effect
3. Halo 3
4. The Orange Box
This whole voting this is skewed, though. It's pretty tough to do when not everyone has all of the major consoles. I only have a 360, for example, which pretty much eliminates games like Uncharted and Mario from my list.

My best online so far is 8 kills, 1 death.
I generally snipe or provide cover for the more experienced players while getting to grips with the maps, the feel etc.
For that reason I've got what is probably a bit of a falsely complimentary kill/death ratio which is around 1.2 or 1.3 or something if not more.
Whereas I run around like a chicken with its head cut off, spraying bullets at anything that moves. My K:D ratio is atrocious but I only play objective stuff like HQ and Domination so I'm in the top few in points because I'm all over that shit.

Tebow didn't really play bad, Michigan just played well. Henne and Hart were both fully healthy for once, and that made a big difference.

Yeah, I'm a Michigan fan, so it was a nice win for the Seniors and especially for Lloyd Carr. He looked really happy when the team lifted him up on their shoulders, it was a cool moment. Hopefully we can use this win as a stepping stone into the next ear with Rich Rodriguez at the helm. 2008 will be an interesting year for Michigan football, that's for sure.
Michigan has a lot of talent that I expect to see go places in the draft, too. Long is going to be a top five pick, and Michigan has a bunch of other guys that should go relatively early as well.

I saw National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets yesterday. It was an entertaining movie, but it was from being great. It's pretty much like the first one, they follow a lot of the same things. Yeah, a lot of it might be completely unrealistic, but I thought that it was fun. I like history, so I enjoyed seeing all of the locations and whatnot. The movie was interesting enough to keep me for the two hours that it ran, and it left open a possibility for a sequel, which I'd probably check out. So yeah, if you liked the first one, you'll like this. It's just as good (though it's not really better) even though it lacks what made the first one for me: Sean Bean. It's too bad he couldn't have made a cameo or something...oh well. A solid recommendation for National Treasure 2, I guess if I had to rate it I'd give it a 7 or an 8 out of 10. It's good if you want a film to just sit back and watch over the holiday.

Xbox Live is down at the moment. I was actually going to play some Halo tonight (since I currently suck) but all of LIVE is down at the moment, probably due to something dealing with the Holidays.

Yeah, props to Pettitte for being a man and admitting that he did wrong. That goes a long way towards his status with a lot of fans. One of the main reasons that some people hate guys like Bonds isn't because he used steroids, it's because he used steroids and refuses to admit that he did wrong.
-
Is it possible that some of the names on the list had legit reasons for steroids, like for surgeries and such?

I think that Willis is a great pickup for the Tigers. Even at his worst, he's still a competent pitcher. And when he's on? Oh man, you'd better look out. When Dontrelle Willis is at his best, he's among the most talented pitchers in the league. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him really break out into something great in Detroit, same thing with Cabrera. Cabrera could be the face of the Tigers for a really long time.

I'd like to get footage of the Detroit Lions and make a documentary about them. I'd title it "The Detroit Lions: A Tragic Comedy of Errors".
They fucking suck. I don't understand this fucking team, this franchise really, and I don't think I ever will. Nothing they do makes sense, their players consistently find ways to redefine inept and futility, and nobody in charge does anything to change it. This season is probably over.
By the way, the Lions should be on the phone with Cleveland right now seeing if they'd be willing to deal Derek Anderson for their 1st and 3rd picks. I've been hearing that Cleveland is willing to deal him at the seasons end due to having Brady Quinn waiting in the wings.

Maybe you could combine a few series to make one promotion? You could combine the Bond series with the Bourne series, for example, to make a Spy promotion.
-
Thanks a lot, guys. Now you've got me hyped up again for this game. It wasn't so bad waiting for this before since I didn't have a new console, but now that I have my 360 I'm anticipating this game more than any other.

I've always liked the first movie the best. Although I enjoy the fights and the training motages in III/IV the most, I think that the original is the best overall story out of the series. III has the sad scene where Mick dies, and IV is just awesome, but the original is the best. Rocky is probably my favorite series of all-time though, I own all of them on DVD. After watching all of them over the course of a week I've come to the conclusion that the fifth movie isn't really that bad, but it's far below the others. I'd rank them as follows...
1. Rocky
2. Rocky III
3. Rocky IV
4. Rocky II
5. Rocky Balboa
6. Rocky V

Just beat the game and it was a very enjoyable experience. Took me around 18 hours. Now it's time to do it again and hit up all the sidequests and whatnot.
HUZZAH.
18 hours
Shucks.

Yay, I'm glad that Sawyer made it. Hopefully we get another LOST character later on (Locke), but Sawyer is pretty good. He's just fun to watch. He's the typical anti-hero, he makes fun of everyone and he claims to be all for himself, but he's really got a good heart in him.

See, this is why I hate rating ANYTHING with numbers, letters, stars, whatever. People can interpret it however they want.
"7? Well that's 70% out of 100%, in my grading system at school, that's a D-!!!!! FLOP!!!!!!!!"
"Nuh-uh, 7 is average or good! 8 is great, 9 is amazing and 10 is perfect! This game rulez!!!"
Just review games with a thumbs up or thumbs down. You either enjoy the game or you don't, simple as that. The actual review article should discuss whether or not it's the greatest game ever made. Of course, people don't read, so it's not surprising we have to use asinine number systems.

I doubt that Marth and Roy will be cut. Roy will probably be out, but not Marth. He's the face of the Fire Emblem franchise, and he was one of the most popular characters from Melee.
35 characters wouldn't be bad, 25 have been revealed so far. I was hoping for something closer to 40, though.
