  1. Since I've been thinking about getting a 360 for a while now, I've spent a good amount of time researching this game. And from everything that I've seen, I've come to the conclusion that Mass Effect looks incredible. It's got amazing graphics and what looks to be like fun gameplay, along with a massive world that will take hours to explore. When I get my 360, Mass Effect is going to be near or at the top of the list of the games that I want to buy.

  2. The thing with Assassin's Creed is that is has an open, beatiful world. I don't know about you guys, but whenever I play games like this, I like to explore and look at the sights. There are always cool things to find, so that should make it a bit longer. I'm sure you could probably fly through the game in 10 hours or so if you really wanted to, but (as with all games) if you do everything it'll take considerably longer.

  3. I don't think that the schedule is that difficult. We should be able to win in Arizona next week, and I think that we can take the Giants the week after that. We're good enough to split with Green Bay I'd say, and we should beat Minnesota for the second time. Dallas and San Diego will be tough, and Kansas City definitely isn't bad, but I think the Lions can win 5 of the last 8. 11-5 wouldn't be bad at all, especially considering how good the Lions were last year. 10-6 would even be good, that'd meet Kitna's prediction.

  4. Yeah, go Lions! 6-2...that's great. Good game by the defense, and Kitna finally got a couple of TD passes. I expected them to be good this year, but they're doing much better than I've expected, especially defensively. If we can get the defense to play like this all the time, we've got the offense to win a lot of football games. I'm really looking forward to the big Thanksgiving showdown with Green Bay.

  5. Yeah, I'll probably be getting a 360 this month, and I'm really considering getting this. The only thing that might prevent me from getting this right away is Halo 3. If I get Halo with my 360, then I'll probably get Mass Effect instead of this, as I won't want to have two shooters and nothing else.

This game does look incredible, though. Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect, and especially this game are all putting out great graphics and strong gameplay this month.

  6. The game definitely looks great, but I'm not sure if it'll play as well as it looks. The control scheme has received some criticism already, as it's pretty unconventional. Hopefully it all works out though, because if it does, this could be the beginning of something great. I might rent it first to check out the controls, but the game should at least be good.

  7. The first is my favorite, I'm sure of that. I like all of the others pretty equally, but the original Die Hard is definitely my favorite in the series. All of them have their own strengths, though.

  8. The Lions are doing about what I expected, maybe a little better. The defense is definitely playing better in these past two weeks, and with the offense that they have, they're going to win games. They're especially deadly now that Calvin Johnson is back (he was out for a little while) and Kevin Jones is healthy. Jones makes a big difference for the Lions. It's a whole different game if they've got a running threat as well, of course. He doesn't even have to do that well either, he just needs to pick up some yards and get the defense thinking about him. With the recievers that the Lions have, if the other team starts to worry about their running game, somebody is going to be open. And Kitna can get them the ball.

  9. I dunno, I think that it adds another piece to the Tigers that they need. Having Guillen at first and Renteria should be a good combination I think, no matter how much it cost them. The Tigers have plenty of prospects anyway.

As for my team, I'd like to see the Cubs add another good pitcher. Lilly and Zambrano are both excellent, but Marquis and Hill were inconsistent. There is a chance that Prior could come back and be decent, but I've learned not to depend on him. The Cubs would be best off trying to get another strong arm, I think. After all, pitching wins championships.

They need an every-day right fielder or center fielder, too. Jacque Jones can (unfortunately) fill one of those spots I suppose, and although I'd love to see Felix Pie fulfill his potential in center field, I think he still needs some time. We need a strong bat out there in right.

  12. From what I've seem from the game so far, it just looks like it needs a little bit more polish. The graphics look very good, and so do some of the animations, but other things looks imcomplete. And that's to be expected, of course. I'm just saying that it looks like they've got a decent base for the game, and with some touching up, it could be a good alternative.
