  1. Nick Kypreos ✔@RealKyper Confirming all #NHL drafts picks from #Flames going to #Bruins in exchange for Hamilton I'm taking that in they only parted with draft picks, not that they gave up all of them. Prob just 2 seconds instead of all 3.
  2. What do you guys think about the over time rule involving pulling your goalie and forfeiting the extra point, if the other team scores on your open net? Most teams won't pull their goalie, but I guess it's to take away the advantage teams might go for with 4-3.
  3. Batman is on sale for $49 through ebay's neogames store.
  4. I didn't go through this thread but does anybody purchase their games at Best Buy, or own a best buy club membership? They reduced the price to $30 for the membership and you save 20% off all new games (including games on sale), and 10% off used games. Seems like they also offer $10 back rewards on some pre-order games. I was thinking about splitting the cost with a friend, but wasn't sure if we'd both be able to use it, or if it's treated just like their normal rewards program where you can just give a phone number. Also, Batman is on sale for $49 on ebay.
  5. Is the Osiris worth getting? Steep price.
  6. Really? I thought that was one of the easier ones, especially on hard. You're basically just riding a bike away from cops.
  7. If the team that eliminated you wins, you have a good argument that you're the second best team in the league! But when you make a trade with them that sends your former captain along with a pretty good d-men, all for St Louis who played his worst hokey ever, and 2 first round picks...it stings just a little bit more. McDonagh played 1 min in the first period. I'm not sure 50% of him was any better. I'm glad they have a lot of heart and desire to play even injured, but it hindered their mobility big time. I'm really just still mad about them losing lol.
  8. Cheer for the team I'm sick of, or the team that eliminated my team... Well this final is going to suck for me! I was so happy the Rangers decided to show up for game 7. McDoangh has a broken Foot, and Staal with a fractured ankle - I'm glad they want to be heroes, but it didn't help the team to have them in the lineup.
  9. I'm pretty nervous about TBL blowing the Rangers out, especially with all the hype about Rangers being so good in Game 7's. I'd rather not see Hawks compete for the cup again, or for the next few years, but Ducks can be scary when their goalie plays well.
  10. The 2nd and 3rd round of playoffs this year has been really good. Rangers and MSG really like to rack in the money off Game 7's.
  11. Haven't played in a while - any new updates expected to be released?
  12. I had about 3 extra shots after that last goal. Terrible goal to give up. I don't think Lundqvist had a shot on 3 of them, but at least 2 of them should have been stopped. Terrible game from the offense back checking, to the defense staying in there position, and finally on Lundqvist tracking the puck.
  13. Dreger posted that Babcock is out of Detroit. Pretty much down to Blues / Leafs, but hinting that he told the Blues no and leafs may have gotten Babcock.
  14. I really feel for the Jets. Big Byfuglien has been awful for them and they really have their backs up against a wall here, but the fans chanting them on after the game is such a great thing for Winnipeg.
  15. He was basically skating straight until Crosby turned towards him. There wasn't much contact at all. I would have been fine with them calling a penalty on that, but I still think that was embellishment. I don't think the refs have eagle eyes on Penguins. I think the penalties they're taking are avoidable and stupid penalties to take. They're not borderline penalties. I don't see that lasting all series as Penguins seem to stop taking them after the first periods.
  16. I think the issue is Penguins are spending some much time on the PK, they're not getting a lot of chances for the Rangers to take penalties...which actually might be better because every time Rangers get some momentum they end up with a power play that completely takes all their momentum away. With that said, the Penguins did score 2 powerplay goals on very questionable penalties, especially the one where a player was tripped by a ghost. Yeah, that tripping penalty was ridiculous, gotta agree there. I wouldn't worry about the Rangers PP, it seemed dead for the first five games against the Pens last year, and then it came back to win them some games. As for penalties not being called, Haglin pretty much running over Crosby with a shot to the head should have been called. Yeah, I would have been alright with that call being made, especially because it wasn't needed. I do this Crosby embellished quite a bit on that though.

  18. They're definitely missing Letang. They were just horrible in the first, been much better since then, but definitely nothing special. I don't know why the game plan wasn't just to come out and play hard. Rangers are one of the few teams that don't really engage in trash talking...well, since Avery left. I'm sure their mindset changed a bit after the first goal was scored so early, but they played a first period where they could have been penalized even more.
  19. I don't know. Sens just lost their assistant coach, and if it's anything like when the Rangers rallied around each other last year when St. Louis went through a mourning, they can be very dangerous.
