  1. I think people still do races, captures and deathmatches fairly often. Everything was down.
  2. Was anybody else on yesterday and having problems? All the jobs were down. The only thing you could do is kill others.
  3. I don't think his return will be that good, not yet. He's still an undersized goalie, who played really well. I think they hang onto him as a backup goalie for next year, He'll be 25 by the time next season starts, right? I don't see more than a 3rd being offered right now, unless a team thinks he's going to be their starter next year. Unless you're an elite goalie, the goalie market is not going for what I thought it would. Very little.
  4. The West just plays different. The defense doesn't play as tight as the East, but when you get towards the net...you get rocked. It's hard to get any rebounds. I think LA resigns Gaborik. He's a much better fit for the West than playing in the East. How good would Chicago be with a great goalie? Scary team.
  5. What a horrible game by every goaltender on the Ice. I think they should have put Henrik back in the game. Such a weird series. Injuries, suspensions, weird bounces (Off a skate to give Montreal a 2-1 lead, off a skate to tie it send the game to overtime in game 3) ( A horrible goal to give up allow the rangers to tie in 1-1 in game 5, and then a similar goal just as bad on the other end to give Montreal a 2-1 lead), and this... http://gfycat.com/GrayWelltodoGrasshopper
  6. Let me take you to the Hab's forum on HFBOARDS. We can cure that right up...
  7. What the hell just happened? How can you fall apart that badly in the 3rd?
  8. Without actually saying it to the media, the coach pretty much let everyone know it was going to be Toka. Gusty move, but he was having a great year. I'm not sure which direction they go for the next game. Confidence is big for a goalie, and Montreal might have taken away any confidence Budaj had by playing Toka over him. Tossing him out there next game then creates another problem if they have to go back to Toka. It's just a bad situation and could have been avoided by going with Budaj for Game 2. On the other hand, If Toka stood on his head, they look like a genius for starting him. It's still far from over, Rangers have a habit of making every backup goalie look like a star. Just ask Washington, I think we're the reason every goalie there is projected to be a top 3 goalie in the league...
  9. We have a hard time against backup / rookie goalies. For Habs, maybe it's for the best?
  10. Sharks are changing things up. Burns is going back to D (unless they find a replacement) and Havlat it not coming back. I guess they're buying him out.
  11. Babcock has 1 more year, I think. A lot of Toronto fans seem to think he's going there in a year also. I sure the Wings offer him an extension unless they miss the playoffs. No idea if he accepts but I can see him wanting to coach a high profile team and taking them to the cup.
  12. It's official. Dan Bylsma and GM Ray Shero are fired. Dan Bylsma Fact File: * His 43 career playoff wins are a franchise record. * Led Penguins to 2013-14 Metropolitan Division title. * Career regular-season record: 252-117-32. * His 252 wins are a franchise record. * Became fastest coach in NHL history to reach 250 wins (396 games) Apr. 3, 2014 at WPG. * Led Penguins to a franchise-record 3-straight 100-point regular-season finishes from '09-10 to '11-12. * Pittsburgh's 51 wins and 108 pts in 11-12 ranked 2nd in team history (56 wins and 119 points in 92-93). * Became the winningest coach in team history with 233rd career win Jan. 7, 2014 at VAN. * Led Penguins to a Stanley Cup championship in 2009. * Won Jack Adams Award in '10-11 as the NHL's 'most outstanding coach'. * 2014 U.S. Olympic Team head coach.
  13. Yup. I went in April but was originally supposed to go around this time. Rangers - Montreal in Canada would have been nuts. They're already nuts in bars with their big screen tvs and DJ's playing during puck stoppages. I can only imagine what a live game would be like.
  14. For anybody interested, if you start rooftop rumble near the location, you end up starting right there.
  15. In my opinion, Letang, Fleury, Shero, Neal, & Bylsma are all gone before Malkin...unless an absolute stunning deal comes along like Malkin for Rick Nash "Coughs"
  16. That only happens if you're driving slow.. If you lower it, you can flip cars over you, depending on the car and how you hit it. I have it lowered all the way. Hated it at first, but if you actually drive on roads, it's great. The new super car is absolutely amazing as far as acceleration goes. (when fully upgraded) It's scary fast and handles well. My only grip with it is it seems to be back heavy like the adder - you notice this when making big turns. Upgrading 2 cars is like buying another high super car. So much money.
  17. Yeah, Roof-top Rumble is a bitch on Hard, when playing by yourself. The guy with the briefcase spawns near the bridge after you clear out the area. Sometimes it a bitch to get to that bridge. They mentioned that they don't mind people grinding out for money, but then they change this. I liked the idea of adding more people, making it a little harder. I don't like the idea of having to chase the car down.
  18. I don't know. He turns 34 and if he's going for a run at the cup, it's going to be now. At the same time, this is the perfect age for players to get that last big contract.
  19. I think Bylsma's as good as gone. The only adjustments he seems to make are tossing Crosby and Malkin together, and when that doesn't work, he's out of ideas... I knew games 2 & 3 were going to be bad for the Rangers. 14 games played and somehow the first team to advanced? Advance on the last day, first team out - that's an absolute brutal schedule. I think the team did a decent job of sticking up for Crosby during this series. Crosby initiates this shit himself. He's seems like a genuine good guy off the rink, but far from it on the rink. What are they supposed to do, come to his rescue and take more penalties because Crosby has a stick whacking problem? You absolutely should protect your star players when another team is trying to take a run at him, but I don't think anybody did that during this series. It was a little different against Lumbus, but there wasn't much they could do here to stick up for him. I'm proud of the Rangers for battling through this and coming together as a team. They didn't let any of this shitty on-ice-antics take them away from the game. They need to control the puck more if they want a decent run at Montreal or Boston, though. Before this week, I never realized how much Penguin fans wanted their team blown up, simply keeping the core of 2-3 guys. I don't think you can put all the blame on Fleury, but he didn't make any crucial saves during this series. Not to take anything away from a shutout, especially 2, but those were real easy shutouts for him. Rangers were snails on the rink during Games 2 & 3, played with no urgency, and had few scoring changes that I would consider to be good scoring changes. When they started bringing pressure, Fleury was his typical playoff self, letting up a weak goal If you're the Penguins, how do you swap for a #1 goalie? At this point, I think they should just toss money at Miller. He's not young, but the Penguins are still in a win-now mode. Right now, they're just wasting Malkin's and Crosby's prime years. With Crosby and Malkin being 27/28 next year (God, time goes fast), and Fleury turning 30, I don't think they need a young franchise goalie immediately. A good goalie for a coupe of years would fit their need. Maybe upgrade their wing position with trading Fleury. Halak is the same age, but I think that's a down grade over Fleury. Niemi's playoff reputation is probably worse.
  20. Not arguing that. They fired the people surrounding him. Maybe that helps
  21. From my understanding his contract is 16-17, which is only 2 years. Not 2 years on top of the 1 he already had. I could be wrong.
