  1. Tell that to the Oilers... Poor Oilers I've gotten several computer viruses using that site. But, usually they do have a stream up. Too many ads on that site.
  2. Only mentioned auto-draft because I didn't see any way of getting 10 plus people and setting a draft date that soon. Plus, a lot more trades happen that way
  3. We should run an EWB auto draft league. The last league I was in only had 10 people, so there was plenty of talent. It was a weird draft. The same person got Subban and Karlsson, although they're the best 2 players on his team. And Kadri went almost dead last. A lot of talent left. I also grabbed Jonathan Bernier in that league - and for some reason 1 of my goalies either always makes it to the finals, or ends up a top runner for the venezia. So, in case you guys have a good year. You're welcome.
  4. That was like a mini-update. I like the weapons though and the bullet proof helmet.
  5. Yeah, it looks like the Islanders are trying to make a great run here being their last on Long Island. Great moves without really giving up much. The draft picks are pretty expendable considering the prospect pool they have. I thought they gave up 2 second round picks with the other being a conditional.
  6. For head to head, I usually run, Goals, Asist, (not points, because that's just dumb. It's a gimmie when you have won the first 2 categories), +/_, Penalty Minutes, Shots, Power play pints, GWG, Short handed points, Goalie Wins, Goalie shutouts, Save %, Goals against Average. It's basic, but people usually enjoy it more than keep track of everything statistical.
  7. I was about to ask how Henrik Tallinder has looked and if he's worth signing for the leafs. Well, I guess that separated shoulder eliminates that. Booth is out for about 4-5 weeks.
  8. Toronto Marlies invited Kessel to training camp. http://www2.tsn.ca/bardown/Story.aspx?Phil%2BKessel%27s%2Bbrother%252c%2BBlake%252c%2Binvited%2Bto%2BToronto%2BMarlies%2Bcamp&id=463232
  9. They really dropped the ball here. All the excitement I had for this game is nearly gone.

    NHL 15

Yup, it's absolutely ridiculous. You can't justify that with "This is a new system". There's just so much taken out of this and the PS3 model is like NHL14 with updated rosters. They're also patching in a tournament mode - which is basically their playoff mode. Hopefully, it will be patched in to replicate a real world tournament and not just NHL teams. I was considering buying PS4 because this is one of the few games I get every year, but this is insane. EA knows they released an incomplete game here.
  11. http://www.tsn.ca/bardown/Story.aspx?Kulemin%2Band%2BGrabovski%2Btake%2Bthe%2BIce%2BBucket%2BChallenge&id=459164 Kulemin and Grabovski take the Ice Bucket Challenge
  12. Sounds like a controller problem if PS3. If so, hit the PS button, turn the controller on and off.
  13. My favorite part is that he doesn't know he's the jerk here. How dare Rockstar stop glitches like this from happening... It's not that hard to make money after you reach a certain rank level, or have friends.
  14. I have to buy a PS4 first. My goal was to wait a year or more until they can take advantage of the awesomeness that PS4 should be pushing out.
  15. Good signing for the Avs, 2 years / 5.8 & 6.2 for O'Reilly. Rangers lock Kreider up for 2 years. 2.35 & $2.6 and Zuccarello for 1 year at 3.5. I would have loved these deals to be longer, but can't argue with that cap hit.
  16. I actually forgot to include Hall in my list somewhere. I think I'd rank Raymond and Helm slightly behind the second group. Players like - Cogliano, Duchene, Erik Karlsson Helm seems to have days where he's really fast and then when he's not using his speed much.
  17. He's definitely a bottom 6 signing and his contract is cheap enough to bury, I don't think we needed him though.
  18. So Rangers signed Matthew Lombardi to a 2 year deal. If Healthy, he can be a speedy, 2-way, reliable PK'er. Lombardi is coming off a great season outside the NHL, but I'm not sure I understand this singing when their biggest need to is sign 3 RFA's and give some youth a chance to develop in the NHL. He's known for his speed which is definitely a thing Rangers coach AV likes. With that said, it got me thinking, who are the 5 fastest players current in the NHL? (In no order) I'd go with Hagelin, MacKinnon, Kessel, Grabner & Lombardi?
  19. Varlamov's cap hit is 5.9 (a little high IMO but still) True, it's his salary I was looking at. We won't be seeing those deals again. Makes Quick's deal look fantastic. Heatley singed with the Ducks. 1 year, 1 million. Awful troll. Really subpar. I'm referring to the way his contract is worked out.
  20. Varlamov's cap hit is 5.9 (a little high IMO but still) True, it's his salary I was looking at. We won't be seeing those deals again. Makes Quick's deal look fantastic. Heatley singed with the Ducks. 1 year, 1 million.
  21. When the DEMON the DEMON Kane and Toews are getting 10.5, the top 5 -10 goalie market is going to go up as well. Miller, Smith, Howard are already getting 6 million. Crawford, Ward, Lethonen, Bobrovsky, Varlamov, are getting paid more than 6 million. Plus, it's only a 1.5 million raise from his previous contract to take the starting position. I hate long term deals, but this one could pan out if goalies are going to continue being overpaid above 6 million.
  22. Meaning? This might end up being a great singing. Schneider has had excellent numbers the last 4 years, if he can do that playing as a starter this is a great. If he ends up not being able to handle the #1 role, it's pretty bad...
  23. Not much news lately, but apparently Evader Kane liked a tweet about him being traded to Philly, now he's getting ripped apart by TSN. He's wanted out for a while, I'd be curious to see if Philly jumps with an offer or if the Jets just trade him away at this point. He can't be good for moral.
