I felt like burning my TV when I found out Lil Wayne beat Jay-Z, T.I. & Nas for Lyricist of the Year for the B.E.T. Awards. Anyways, Cham's Mixtape Messiah series are some of the best mixtapes out right now. He's underrated most definatley.

Kanye's ego would be great if he was able to live up to his own hype. Just because people believed Ali when he started calling himself the greatest doesn't mean it'll work for Kanye. I wish I could punch Kanye in the face. Just one nice over hand right, than I'd steal his shoes.

I don't know, maybe it's because I'm turned off by most white girls, but Mandy Moore is not appealing to me what so ever. She does have that girl-next-door type of look, but only in the face. You can't be a stick and be considered sexy.

Who votes for these award shows. I watched the BET Awards...(first awards show I watched in a few years) and Lil Wayne actually won Lyricist of the Year. He beat Jay-Z....Jay-Z! The Carter III is won of the most lyrically challenged albums I have ever heard, and he won. American Gangster is a magnificant record. It ranks right behind The Blueprint and right before Reasonable Doubt, and Jay lost to Wayne. Not to mention The Cool wasn't even nominated. Award shows are nothing but jokes now.

Is it just me, or does Love Lockdown sound like the same exact thing after the first 40 seconds of the same song. It seems like 5 minutes of the same exact thing. It's bad.

For some reason, I'm disturbed by the amount of people on this board who find Mandy Moore sexy.

Kanye was good before he thought of himself as controversial. Ever since he said 'George Bush doesn't care about black people,' he's become like Lil Wayne, thinking everything he does is great. While Graduation is one of the best albums released recently, this whole AutoTune album is a horrible decision. 'Love Lockdown' is unbearable to listen to. I haven't heard any other songs off of 808 and Heartbreaks mainly cause I'm in no rush to. He needs to go back to College Dropout days with his music. Leave the AutoTune to Lil Wayne cause thats all he has now.

So I was sitting there watching Smackdown a couple weeks ago and saw the horrible Diva's Championship. So out of boredom, I tried my hand at creating a womens wrestling championship. Now I know it's not that great or anything, but it was my first attempt. So here it is... Any constructive criticism would be greatly appreciative as I want to try and design more belts just for the hell of it.

As a Warriors fan, I gotta say, Don Nelson is really pissing me off. Why let Brandon Wright, Ronny Turiaf and Andris Biedrins get 3-4 fouls during the first half of the game and not bench them and rotate Anthony Randolph and Richard Hendrix in. This whole 'not letting rookies play' crap is pissing me off.

Avellan was out before he left his feet. If Jason Rosholt can get his stand up going, he'll be a very serious contender for any Middleweight belt.

From what I heard, Alves failed to make weight against Hughes cause of an ankle injury. If that's true, than it's understandable. It's hard to run or peddle with a bum ankle. Besides, I couldn't think of anyone who drops that much weight before a fight besides Lesnar and maybe GSP.

Although he most recently made weight against Koscheck.

Is it just me, or does it seem like Paulo Filho is scared to fight Chael Sonnen? I mean, the first fight was very controversal, than Paulo drops out of the scheduled rematch and goes to rehab, and now he misses the weight by 7 pounds. He's has so much time to lose the weight, it's ridiculous. Fighters like Thiago Alves drops over 20 pounds the week leading up to the fight. There should be no reason why Filho couldn't lose the weight. This is really unfair to Sonnen who deserves a rematch for the title.

A few years ago I stumbled across a fight between Ken Shamrock and Bas Rutten which I believe took place @ Pancrase: Eyes of the Beast 2. The fight didn't exactly put me on the edge of my seat, but the transition from half guard to the knee bar by Ken Shamrock was beautiful.

I agree with EXC's decision to strip Noons. As champion, Noons should have to fight who ever the organization thinks is the top contender. Not who Noons thinks is the top contender. And also about the complaint of being under payed, thats Noons' fault. He signed a contract for a number of fights for a certain amount each bout. He should honor the contract and when his fights are up, renegotiate for a bigger payday.

You'd think so... but believing in that mentality as a fighter can lead to someone becoming happy with winning in boring fights. You say, "so what, he's still winning..." right? Wrong. If people don't want to see someone fight, no matter how much they win, the UFC as a business steps in and puts a stop to it. It doesn't make any business sense to bore people to death. Exciting fighters with 50/50 records are much more likely to draw people's attention than a guy with a spectacular record, who's fights are 15 minutes of blah. Lesnar is explosive enough that it's unlikely he'll fall into that category. He wasn't just laying on top of Herring for 15 minutes. He was laying on him and pounding the shit out of him. That shit is entertaining. I'm not saying winning in a boring fashion should be rewarded at all. All I'm saying is even though Brock layed on Herring for 3 rounds, he still won the fight. And winning by laying on your opponent still adds to the number to your win column.

Hey, a win is a win. Doesn't really matter how you win, as long as you do.
