  1. That's horrible logic. If he gets traded, he (in most cases) has no choice in the decision. He went out and changed his last name, on his own. He SHOULD have to buy back those jerseys, because it's not fair for Reebok to have to eat their money, because this fool wants more media attention. Reebok is making money off of his name in the first place, so how is that horrible logic? All Reebok is doing is capitalizing off of Chad Johnson. The rules state that a players legal surname must be worn on his jersey. Chad's surname is legally 'Cinco Ono' so his jersey should represent it. This is American and Reebok works within the system. Tell me, what's the difference between a Farve GB jersey and a Johnson jersey? In reality, there is no difference. Reebok is being influenced by Goodell because he doesn't want Chad to have his way and give more power to the players that's making him wealthy.
  2. Regarding the whole 'Ocho Cinco' jersey, he shouldn't have to buy the remaining jerseys in order to get his new ones out. If a player get traded, they don't have to buy out any jerseys to get their current jerseys produced and sold. It's basically the same thing. Reebok should just make the damn jersey and clearance the 'Johnson' jerseys.
  3. "Since I will not lose, they try to help him cheat But I will not lose, for even in defeat There's a valuable lesson learned, so it evens up for me" Blueprint 2 - Jay-Z Always reminds me that when failing helps you to make yourself stronger.
  4. Damn, that's horrible. Tanner was one of my favorites because he had a heart of a champion.
  5. Commercials in American sports are very convenient to somone who doesn't wanna miss a play to take a piss or get a beer.
  6. Because Nogueira didn't need 3 or 4 victories in UFC to get a title shot due to his past history of work. He got his one win that he needed to familiarize the fans with him, and got the title shot. Maybe I'm alone on this, but I don't think someone deserves a title shot after only one match in an organization. They should do what Cro Cop did and fight a couple of times first. No way does Brock deserve a title, but it Nog gets one after beating Herring, than there's no reason why Brock shouldn't get one either.
  7. There's no comparison with what Elite is doing with Slice and what White is doing with Lesnar. Slice has fought nothing but bums so far. Lesnar lost to a former World Champion and just beat a highly regarded heavyweight.
  8. Why? And just what other fighters deserve title shots in the Heavyweight division? And if they do, would they be marketable? It's all about MONEY. UFC is a BUSINESS. Exactly my thoughts. Brock is coming off a dominating performance against one of the top heavyweights in the UFC. There's no one else in the division that can compare to Couture's popularity other than Lesnar. So that equals a big draw. Plus, no one else in the division is coming off a huge win either. Other than Ganzaga, who already had a shot at Couture, there's really no one deserving of a title shot. With Lesnar, you get a very interesting match-up and a very big draw. Plus, didn't Nog get a title shot after a decision victory Herring? Why can't Lesnar get one too?
  9. Lesnar has the power to KO Couture. He'll land a few good shots, but Couture knows how to trade with big men. If it goes to the ground, Lesnar will basically have his way due to his freakish strength. The only way I see Couture winning is by pulling out a kamora, Americana or a rear naked choke. He just has to be able to slow Lesnar down in order to pull one out.
  10. I went to school and played football with Matt Ryan's little brother. Yuh. I went to Jr. High and High School with Will Harding (Fresno St. CB) and Tom Brandstater (Fresno St. QB). Will was hella cool and Brandstater was your typical preppie.
  11. Charisma Carpenter (2x), Gina Carano, Tila Tequila, Hilary Duff Thos are the only ones I know off the top
  12. Even though Lesnar doesn't deserve a title shot yet, this is going to be a HUGE match for both men. I can't wait to see how Lesnar handles Couture when it goes to the ground.
  13. Evewn though I wasn't on during the live draft, I'm very happy with how it turned out for me.
  14. Are you talking about Hell Hath No Fury or did they drop Til The Casket Drops already? If you're talking about Hell Hath No Fury, than yeah, I got it. I love the Clipse. Both Malice and Pusha are great at structuring lines and using vocabulary that most MCs don't use. Plus the beats are great too thanks to Pharrell.
  15. I'm looking for the ToTheEdge #4 stat. Anyone know where I can find it? It's not on EWInventory.
  16. What was the reason for him sucking so much beforehand? Simple, Jim Hostler. Alex Smith was a good QB under Norv Turner. It's not Smith's fault that the Niners can't stay with a good OC for more than one season.
  17. I can't play a game without music anymore. I have quite a few games that require me to listen to dialogue I haven't finished because I refuse to play them if I can't listen to music. So up until I snapped and destroyed my only controller, I was playing Madden, Fight Night, Tiger Woods, Top Spin, and Midnight Club alot.
  18. GSP doesn't want to fight again til 09. It's looking like Penn/GSP II will go down early 09. If Penn fights again in 08, he'll have to do it before December so there's enough time for him to prepare for GSP.
  19. 1) Ready To Die - Notorious B.I.G. 2) The Chronic - Dr. Dre 3) Doggystyle - Snoop Dogg 4) The Great Adventures of Slick Rick - Slick Rick 5) Illmatic - Nas 6) Food & Liquor - Lupe Fiasco 7) The Shadiest One - W.C. 8) The Eminem Show - Eminem 9) Straight Outta Compton - N.W.A. 10) The Blueprint - Jay-Z
  20. They already showed fencing during the first few days of the games. United States swept the medals

    Illmatic

Illmatic is a great album. Though it does rank lower than Ready To Die does. Ready To Die is the perfect blend of lyrics and beat.
  22. I can't believe I don't remember that scene.
